PP590 A Thank You Teacup

My first play with the Cup Of Tea bundle I wanted to make a cute little square card for a friend and Joanne's color combo for thepaperplayers.blogspot.com was perfect. I started with a 4 1/4" square base in Basic White card stock. I added the just retired Fresh Freesia gingham print from Pansy Petals DSP for the background. I stamped the tea cup in Night Of Navy ink on a white card stock piece and then stamped the leaves in Granny Apple Green plus the mini flowers in Fresh Freesia ink. I cut these out with the matching Teacup dies. I also stamped the little tea bag in Freesia ink and cut it with those dies then added it with a piece of white twine to the cup. I popped it all on the background and placed a few rhinestones on the flowers and by the cup. I stamped the sentiment in Navy ink on a piece of white card stock and cut it out with the All That dies. Love this little oval die!
It turned out so cute!
Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by!

  1. You had me at the gingham, Windy! That tea cup is such a nice vase for those flowers and a nice way to say "thanks" to someone! Thanks for playing with our colors at the Players this week!
