I made this card for my daughter away at school as well as LeAnne's sketch challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com I started with a Lemon Lime Twist base and a piece of Bright & Beautiful DSP ran around with some Pool party twine and bow. I then cut a white Stylish Shapes square and stamped the image from Coffee With Friends set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with many Stampin blends markers. See list below for colors!

A Crafting Birthday

 

I made this card for a friend's birthday. She loves this Crafting With You bundle. So have crafting items inside and out. I started with the Orchid Oasis base then a white piece of card stock and then a piece of the in color DSP in Orchid. I cut a white Countryside Corners die to add my images. I stamped the easel in Pecan Pie ink on white card stock plus the flowers in Fresh Freesia ink with the paint brushes as well as the basket in Lemon lime Twist ink and the cutting machine in Orchid. I cut all out with the matching dies. I added some Lemon Lime Twist pearls. Inside, I cut a Pecan Pie cutter with a Fresh Freesia blade and handles of scissors with silver foil blades. Added a piece of the same DSP inside the cutter plus stamped the sentiment inside in Orchid ink from the Beautiful Balloons set.

Love the Gorgeous Gingham DSP and here I pulled out Blueberry Bushel for fun! I have a base of Blueberry Bushel and a layer of white card stock then the DSP. I cut the Deckled Circles dies in white and Bushel. I stamped the flowers from the Translucent Florals set on white card stock in Bushel and Boho Blue and cut them with the matching dies. On the white circle, I stamped the leaves in Granny Apple green ink and added the Bushel gems. I stamped the sentiment in Bushel ink on white card stock and cut it with a small Deckled Circles die.

Yes, I am in love with this embossing folder called Distressed Tile. I used it here with Copper Clay card stock on a same color base. I added a Daffodil Delight strip of card stock before popping my white Countryside Corners die on with the Rustic Crate images. I stamped the crate from the rustic crate set in Copper Clay ink on a piece of white card stock and cut it with the matching dies. I also stamped the image of pumpkins and flowers in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and cut it out after coloring with Stampin Blends markers. I stamped the sentiment in Black ink on white card stock and hand snipped it out to add to my crate. I finished with a few copper sequins.

PP654 Birthday Queen Bee

 

I know this is suppose to be a clean and simple card for Ann's theme challenge with insects but I could not help adding to it with texture! I do love the way it turned out for thepaperplayers.blogspot.com this week! I have a white base and a piece of Bright & Beautiful DSP ran trough with the Timeworn Type embossing folder. I then cut a white Countryside Corners die and added the bee plus crown stamped and cut out from the Queen Bee bundle in Berry Burst ink. The extra wings are cut from the same DSP as well as the honeycombs. I stamped the flowers in Bubble Bath ink and cut it with the dies. I stamped the sentiment in Berry ink and snipped them out. I stamped the stem in Granny apple Green ink and colored the flowers with the Bubble Bath Stampin blends marker. I added the Bubble Bath ribbon and rhinestones for more chic! I did get some inspiration from Pal Peggy Noe at prettypapercards.com for this layout.

Makes Me Smile

I know this is a busy card but I love all the shades of purple and making my own DSP for the background. On a piece of white card stock, I stamped all three flowers in the Textured Florals set to make a background. I used Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Fresh Freesia inks then layered on a Highland Heather base. I then stamped the sentiment on a strip of white card stock layered with a Highland Heather strip in Gorgeous Grape ink. I stamped the large flower on a piece of white card stock in Fresh Freesia ink after adding a little Grape ink to the outer edges with a sponge dauber. I stamped the center in Grape ink and cut it out with the matching die along with a few white stems. I finished it off with some rhinestones for bling. I sent this to my girl whom I miss like crazy!

Textured Gift Bags

I like to design gift bags for my guests to carry their cards home from class and this month I used a retired DSP called Texture Chic for the front of the bags. I love the pink and greens with gold. I cut a white rectangle from the Nested Essentials dies and added the pot stamped on Bubble Bath card stock in Wild Wheat ink which looks gold. The pot is from the Paper Pumpkin set in June called Welcome Inn and I hand snipped it out after stamping. I then cut leaves from Bubble Bath card stock and Distressed Gold paper with the Earthen Textures dies and finished off with a gold gem.

Sunny Thoughts

Here is my trucking card for classes this week and can I tell you I love this embossing folder. I have used the Twisted Rope folder on the is piece of Starry Sky card stock and layered on a white base. I cut the stitched circle in white and stamped Pool Party clouds from the Trucking Along set and the flowers in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the road in Gray Granite ink. I stamped the truck in Memento Black on a piece of white card stock and colored it with the Poppy Parade Stampin Blend along with Pool Party and Smoky Slate. I punched it out with the matching punch. I colored the flowers to be like sunflowers in Daffodil Delight, Pecan pie and Parakeet Party. I popped the truck in place and then stamped the sentiment in Starry Sky ink on a strip of white card stock and snipped the ends.

Happy Balloon Birthday

 

I went with a Z fold card as you can see for this class card this month using the Beautiful Balloons bundle and the lovely Bright & Beautiful DSP. I used the Blueberry Bushel base and added the strip of DSP on the left panel. I have a white piece of card stock inside. I then cut a panel of Blueberry Bushel and a piece of white for the front and stamped the balloons and strings in Blueberry Bushel and Azure Afternoon inks. I also added some confetti in Lemon lime twist ink. I then stamped the large balloon on a piece of white card stock in lemon Lime Twist ink and the sentiment right on in Blueberry Bushel ink and used the matching die cuts to cut it and the Azure tail out. I finished it off with with one iridescent gems for a little bling.

Birthday Blooms For You

I designed this as my third card for classes this month and I wanted to use several floral images plus colors for this card with the Textured Florals bundle. I have a Highland Heather base and a piece of white card stock layered on I stamped several images. I stamped the large flower in Highland Heather ink, the leaves/stems in Granny Apple Green, the smallest flowers in Lemon Lolly ink and splatter in Fresh Freesia ink. I also stamped the small flower on a piece of white card stock in Fresh Freesia ink and cut it with the matching die. I added some greenery cut from the Textured Floral dies in Granny Apple Green card stock. I stamped the sentiment on a white 1 3/4" circle punched in Gorgeous Grape ink .I finished it off with some Lemon Lolly gems.

Here is another card for classes this month with the lovely new Translucent Florals bundle in the holiday catty. I decided to focus on the leaves instead of the flowers as we are heading unto fall. I have a white base and another of of white card stock cut and ran through the Splatter embossing folder for texture. I ran the Copper Clay ribbon around the right side before attaching. I stamped the sentiment in Copper Clay ink on a Deckled Rectangle white die cut. I stamped the large leaves twice on white card stock in Pretty Peacock ink and cut them with the matching dies. I finished it off with a few neutrals adhesive-backed sequins.

Handmade Hugs For You

 

This card is the first of my cards for classes this month and I loved designing with the Crafting With You bundle and this gingham DSP! I have a Berry Burst base and a piece of white card stock layered which has being cut with the Stitched With Whimsy dies and then a white Scalloped Contours die which i stamped the sentiment in Berry Burst ink. Under the scallop piece is a strip of Glorious Gingham DSP in Berry Burst. I then cut the cutter in a piece of  Basic Gray with a black blade and added a 1 1/2" square piece of Gingham DSP in Lemon Lime Twist. I also cut the basket in Black from the dies. I stamped on a white piece of card stock the die cutting machine in Berry Burst ink as well as the yarn in Lemon Lime Twist. I cut these out with the matching dies.

Bubble Bath Textures

 

I love doing the new color Bubble Bath on my card but it is light when photographing. I used a white base and added a layer of white card stock ran through with the Twisted Rope EF. I then cut a white and a Bubble Bath card stock with the Countryside corners dies. I also cut the pot and the handles in white as well as the large fan from the Earthen Textures dies. I blended Bubble bath ink on the fan and handles of the pot then stamped and blended with Bubble Bath on the pot. I stamped the same stem on the pot then a on a piece of white to cut out as well as the cutting of the gold stem from the Distressed gold paper. I tied a piece of linen thread with a bow on the pot and added some gold sequin to finish it off.

I am using the new embossing folder again called Distressed Tile. I used it on a piece Melon Mambo card stock and then cut the center of the card stock with the Countryside Corners dies. On the white base underneath, I stamped the mail box from the Stamped With Love set in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with the Stampin Blends in Smoky Slate and Pool Party. I stamped the heart in Melon Mambo ink as well as the sentiment on white and cut with the Something Fancy dies. I finished it off with some Melon Mambo glossy dots.

Florals In Purple

 

I love the Textured Florals bundle and just had to play with two new products today coming up in the SU! 2023 holiday mini catalog. I have the Deckled Circles dies in two sizes and the new Distressed Tile embossing folder! I have a white base then used the folder with a piece of Highland Heather. I ran a piece of the white 3/4" frayed ribbon-retired around. I cut the white and Gorgeous Grape circles with the Deckled circles dies. I then stamped the flower in Gorgeous Grape ink on a piece of white card stock along with the leaves stamped twice in Granny Apple Green. I cut them out with the Textured Floral dies and popped them on the circles plus added some some glossy dots in Gorgeous Grape. I finished it off with a black center cut for my flower. 

I chose to leave it blank with no sentiment for any use later.

PP652 Trucking To The Beach

 

Today I am mixing a few bundles together for Claire's theme challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com I am a beachaholic and this theme makes me happy! I thought about the new bundle called Trucking Along since it has a palm tree with a surf board and beach ball for in back of the truck and I always love using my Paradise Palms bundle. I have a white base and a piece of Azure Afternoon card stock and ran it through with the Twisted Rope EF. I then cut a white Deckled Rectangle and blended some Balmy Blue ink and some Crumb Cake ink on the background with my blending brushes. I then stamped the palm trees from the Paradise Palms set in Granny Apple green and Pebbled Path inks. I stamped the sun in Crushed Curry ink in the corner. I stamped the truck from the Trucking Along set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of white card stock and punched it out with the matching punch. I colored it with my Stampin blends in Azure Afternoon, Smoky Slate and Black. I also stamped the items for the back off the truck in Black ink and colored them in Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight and Pool Party. I hand snipped the items and popped them up with the truck on my scene. I finished off with the sentiment in Black ink on a white Double Oval punch from the Paradise Palms set.

Tropical Leaf Punched For The Pals Blog Hop

This month, the theme is Punch Your Art Out. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

I thought of the lovely Tropical Leaf set and punch with this theme for the blog hop this month and I wanted lots of punched on my card. I love this bundle and it is so easy to use with many different colors. I went for Orchid Oasis and Parakeet Party with my color combo and love how it turned out. I stared with the Orchid Oasis base and then punched lots of the same color card stock with the leaf punch. I added them to the base and any hanging over, I cut off with the snips. It gives a awesome textured background that is better than just embossed. I then cut a white Deckled Rectangle and stamped the stems in Parakeet Party ink. On another piece of white card stock, I stamped the leaves and veins in Orchid Oasis and Parakeet Party inks. I punched those three out with the leaf punch. I also stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink on a piece of Orchid Oasis card stock and heat embossed it in white embossing powder. I used another fab punch- the Double Oval punch. I finished it off with some Parakeet Party dots.

Lovely Inked Botanicals

 

I really love how this card turned out using the Inked Botanical suite! I have a Lost Lagoon base and a layer of Inked Botanicals DSP in a coral print plus a layer of Lost Lagoon with another print from the DSP. I then punched a 2 1/2" circle in white card stock to stamp the flowers from the Inked & Tiled set with Lost Lagoon and Calypso Coral inks. I added some Brushed Brass Butterflies plus the sentiment I stamped on Calypso Coral card stock in VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder before cutting with the Stylish Shapes dies. I did add some Lost Lagoon 1/4" bordered ribbon behind the circle to finish it off.

Colorful Inked Botanicals

I have two more cards with the Inked Botanicals suite for you today and tomorrow. This one has a Lost Lagoon base with a layer of Crushed Curry card stock and a piece of the Inked Botanicals DSP. I then added a strip of Lost Lagoon card stock with some Crushed Curry twine wrapped around. I then cut the white piece of cards tock with the Deckled Rectangle dies and stamped the one flower from the Inked & Tiled set in Lost Lagoon, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry and Petal Pink inks. I added a few of the small flower in Petal Pink. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Calypso Coral in VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder before cutting it out with a Stylish Shapes banner die. I finished it off with some Lost Lagoon tinsel gems.

PP651 Special Flower Delivery

 

This is my first card posting with the new Trucking Along bundle. Thought it would be super cute with Jaydee's tic-tac-toe challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com  I chose the top row across with flowers, green and embossing. I am using two greens- Shaded Spruce for the truck and Granny Apple Green for the grass and stems on flowers. I have a 4" square Daffodil Delight card base and a another piece of the same color which I ran through the Basics 3D embossing folder. I then stamped the truck in Memento Tuxedo Black ink from the Trucking Along set on a piece of white card stock. I used the two step stamp from that set to add the Shaded Spruce ink to color the truck. I then took a Pool Party Stampin Blend for the windows and a Light and Dark Smoky Slate Blend for the tires. I stamped the flowers also on a piece of white in Memento and colored with the Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Pecan pie Stampin Blends. I hand snipped them out  to pop with the truck on the white 2 1/2" circle I punched out. I added grass in Granny Apple Green ink and the sentiment in Memento. I finished off with some sequin in white.
