Countryside Inn Notebook

I am showing another notebook decorated this time with the Countryside Inn DSP which will be a hot item in the new 2023-2024 SU! annual catalog. I love all the mix of blues in the paper series. I grabbed another kraft black notebook and cut a piece of DSP with bunnies on it at 4" by 5 1/4" to add to the front. i cut a white piece and a Boho Blue piece of card stock to add my white die letters from Alphabet A La mode dies. I also added the Boho Blue 3/8" textured ribbon inside for a book marker.  Here is the link to the notebooks again on Amazon.

UCF Grad Card

 I am back from having a lovely crafting week with stamping friends. I have a grad card for you today!

I made this card for my baby who is graduating with his degree in Film editing from the University Of Central Florida aka UCF next week! So proud of my son, Cole! I have a black base and layer of white cards tock plus another layer of Basic Black card stock. I cut out the gold numbers from a shimmer gold paper with a number set long retired. I stamped the Congratualtions from the Well Said set also retired in VersaMark ink and heat embossed in white embossing powder. The hat is from a retired set called Pure Gumption. I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black on white card stock and hand snipped it out.

UF Grad Cards

 

My friend asked me to make her two grad card for her niece and nephew in University of Florida (UF) colors. I grabbed my Pacific Point and Pumpkin Pie card stock for the school colors. The top card I water colored some Pumpkin Pie ink on the white background with my water painter. The sentiment is from retired Well Said stamp set. The hat on both cards is from a retired set called Pure Gumption. I stamped it on Basic Black card stock in white craft ink and hand snipped it out.  I used the same set for the sentiments on the bottom card. I used an old numbers dies set for my year. One is cut with blue foil paper and the other with a blue shimmer paper.

PP635 A Soft Queen Bee

 

I was nice to use this Queen Bee bundle in pastels for Joanne's pastel color challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com today! I used a Soft Succulent base with a piece of So Saffron ran through the Hive 3D embossing folder. I cut a piece of white card stock to stamp my elements on in Soft Succulent and So Saffron inks. I stamped the bee on a piece of white card stock in Soft Succulent ink and colors the flowers in So Saffron with my Stampin Blends marker. I also stamped a Saffron crown and cut all these plus the Soft Succulent leaves with the matching dies. I finished off with some Soft Succulent gems for bling.

I thought we have had enough flowers this week, so I grabbed my Lighthouse Point bundle for this card today.  I have a white base and a piece of Starry Sky card stock ran through with one of the Basics embossing folders. I cut a white Deckled rectangles die to blend some Tahitian Tide light on with my blending brush. I also stamped the waves from the On The Ocean set in Tahitian Tide ink and Satrry Sky ink. I stamped the light in Mango Melody and sentiment in Starry Sky inks from the Lighthouse Point set. I grabbed a piece of Tahitian Tide card stock to cut out with the Lighthouse dies and stamped the stripes in Starry Sky ink. On a piece of white card stock, I stamped a Soft Suede rock set from Lighthouse Point then cut with the Lighthouse dies and a wheel from On The Ocean set and cut with the On The Ocean dies. I added the white dot to the middle of the wheel and colored it with my Tahitian Tide blends marker.

My card for the Pals blog hop today had to be my fav color right now- Fresh Freesia! I am so happy this color is staying around because I seem to use it all the time! I have used the Wisteria Wishes bundle which happens to be retiring on May 1st but I have not used it enough so it was an easy choice for the Flowers In the Garden theme this month. 

I have a Fresh Freesia base and a piece of Dandy Designs DSP from this spring's SAB promotion. I did run a piece of the open weave ribbon in Fresh Freesia around but over the top before attaching the paper. I cut a white Scalloped Contours die to pop my flowers stamped in Fresh Freesia ink from the Wisteria Wishes set plus the stems stamped in Granny Apple Green ink and cut with the matching dies. I added some Fresh Freesia dots then stamped the sentiment from the Artistically Inked set in Fresh Freesia ink on a retired white die from the Tasteful Labels dies.

I am using the Awash in Beauty suite again today starting with my Polished Pink base and piece of Merry merlot card stock with a print from the Awash In beauty DSP. I added some Polished Pink open weave ribbon on before attaching. I cut a white Scalloped Contours die and stamped the sentiment from Season of Chic in polished Pink ink. I stamped the flower in Merry Merlot and the stem in Granny Apple Green on white card stock from the True Beauty set and cut them out with the Organic Beauty dies. I popped them on my white die and finsihed off with some Brushed Brass Butterflies.

I am using the Awash In Beauty suite for my next two cards. I had pieces left over from my classes a few weeks ago and decided to add to my stash. Here I have a Poilshed Pink base and a piece of Merry Merlot card stock plus a piece of the lovely Awash In Beauty DSP. I used a piece of Polish Pink open woven ribbon ribbon around before attaching. I cut a white Scalloped Contours die to stamp my sentiment on from the Pansy Patch stamp set in Merry Merlot ink. I stamped the flower in Polished Pink ink and the stem in Mossy Meadow ink on a piece of white card stock from the True Beauty set before cutting them out with the Organic Beauty dies. I finished off with some Polished pink gems.

Notes For You

 

I got this idea from my friend the King...Brian King over at stampwithbrian.com I bought these small kraft blank notebooks from Amazon. They are a 48 count and measure 4.2" x 5.5".  Here is the link.  

I then decorated the front with the Danity Flowers DSP I earned free from SAB this past winter plus some Basic White card stock. I cut the letters out from the Alphabet A La Mode dies in the spring catty and will be in the new catty starting May 2nd.  DSP cut 4" by 5.25". I also attached a piece of retired Old Olive woven ribbon to the back inside for a book marker.  I gave these to my Bible study group last week plus some leaders. They are an awesome thing to keep in your card or tote bag.

An On The Ocean Birthday

 

I grabbed the Coastal Cabana base and added the panel of card stock in the same color ran through with the Painted Textures embossing folder. I then cut a white Stitched Rectangle for my scene. I stamped the water and clouds in Coastal Cabana ink plus the sentiemnt and skullwith crossbones in Memento Tuxedo Black from the On The Ocean set. I also stamped the boat in same color on a piece of white card stock and cut it with the matching dies to pop on.

PP634 Two Nested Friends

 

With a fun theme challenge from Jaydee this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com I made a Mother's Day card for my step mom who loves birds. I used the Nested Friends bundle with two birds starting with the white base a a piece of Balmy Blue card stock. I added a piece of Country Gingham DSP in Balmy Blue on then cut a white Deckled Rectangle for my scene. I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede ink from the Daffodil Daydream set then stamped two birds on another piece of white card stock in same ink to color from the Nested Friends stamp set. I colored them with my Stampin Blends markers in Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Petal Pink, Blamy Blue and Calypso Coral. I then cut the nests in both Crumb Cake and Soft Suede card stocks plus several leaves in Mint Macaron card stock. I cut the three eggs in Balmy Blue cards tock and stamped the speckles on in Crumb Cake ink. 

I finished off with a linen thread bow.

I made this card for a friend using the Coastal Cabana card stock as a base and another layer ran through with the Painted Textures embossing folder plus the lovely By The Bay DSP cut with Stitched Rectangles dies. I added a strip of gold foil across and punched a few circles out of the DSP for the crab and to stamp the sentiment on in Coastal Cabana ink from the Bamboo Beauty set. I also added a gold trim bow to finish it off.
