A Thinking Of You Windmill

I just love this DSP called Flowering Fields DSP. I cut an upper corner of one print for the field here I layered on a piece of white card stock cut at 4" square and then added to a Petal Pink 4 1/4" square base. I then cut the mini tulips out in Petal Pink card stock to lay across the top of te flower field with the Windmill Fields dies. I stamped the windmill from Tulip Fields set in Soft Suede and colored with my Ivory and light Crumb Cake Stampin Blends markers. I cut it with the same matching dies. I stamped the clouds in Smoky Slate ink and then the sentiment in Rich Razzlberry ink from the Special Moments stamp set you can earn free with sale-a-bration (SAB) which starts January 4th, 2022. All these products shown start that day with the release of the new SU! spring catalog.
Hope you have a beautiful last day of 2021.

In The Moment With Water Color Pencils

Another card with the new set called In the Moment which will be available to order next week on Jan 4th, 2022 when the SU! spring mini catlog starts. This time I colored the image stamped on white card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink with my Water Color pencils and blender pen. I used several colors of the pencils and then went back over them to blend with my blender pen. I then cut the image out with the Stitched Shapes die and layered it on a piece of Flirty Flamingo card stock stamped with the sentiment several times in Basic Gray ink and a piece of Basic Gray card stock before adding to the white base. I finsihed it up with some silver epoxy dots. For the coloring, I used Blushing Bride for the pillows and skin, Flirty Flamingo for the blanket, Crushed curry for the dog, Rich Razzzleberry for the socks, Balmy Blue for the jeans, Smoky Slate for the cup and book, and Early Espresso for the hair.

Second Polar Bears Thank You Card

This is the second card I made with the Arctic Bears bundle. I wanted to use the blending brushes again for the background. I grabbed Bermuda Bay ink plus Mango Melody and Calypso Coral inks to blend on my white background. I then stamped the bear in Gray Granite ink on white card stock and cut him along with a solid white bear and the ice from the Polar Bears dies. I stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink on white and punched it out with the 1 1/4" circle punch.  All was added to the Bermuda Bay base. Super easy card!

First Polar Bear Thank You Card

Hoping you have had a wonderful Christmas weekend full of many blessings! I traveled to Charleston SC the 16th thru the 20th for vacation with my family. We just spect some time together enjoying most food and drink around the historic town. When I returned, I made a few thank you cards for family with the Arctic Bears bundle. That is pretty much all I have done in weeks. I will get back in the start playing with some new items this week.
Here is my first card using the Arctic Bears bundle from the holiday mini catalog and Pattern Party DSP from the annual catalog host rewards. I love black and white and paired it here a  little Pool Party.
I cut a 4 1/4" square base in white and added a piece of Pool Party card stock.I also cut the DSP for the background. I stamped the bear in Memento Tuxedo Black and added a little Pool Party ink via my Stampin Blends marker before cutting with the matching Polar Bear dies. I also blended the same color on my white Wonderful Snowflake cut out with my blending brush. I then stamped the sentiment in Memento Black on white card stock and cut with the Ornate Frames dies. Super simple.
Have a blessed Monday and thanks for stopping by!

An Old Fashioned Birthday

I made this card for my husband's birthday today from the Whiskey Business set I borrowed from my friend Gale Smith.  My husband loves his scotch whiskey so hopefully he will love the card. I first stamped the two glasses and the decanter in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White card stock. I colored them with my Stampin Blends markers. I used light Balmy Blue to make the glass and ice pop. I then used both light Mango Melody and light Cinnamon Cider blends to color the whiskey.  I hand snipped them and added them to a background that looks like tile cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies from the In Good Taste DSP. I also stamped the sentiment from the set in Cinnamon Cider ink and cut with the same die set. I added all to a Cinnamon Cider base.
Hope you have an amazing weekend!

PP570 Winter Miracle

I could not get a great photo of this beautiful paper due to the foil trees. I love how snowy the trees are in this print from Peaceful Place DSP and perfect for Jaydee's Winter Wonderland theme over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com this week. I only had to add another piece of DSP behind for a little border and a Basic Gray base. Then stamped the sentinent from For Unto Us set in VersaMark ink on a Basic Gray rectangle and heat embossing it with white emboss powder and my heat tool. I finished it off with three rhinestones.
Hope you have a beautiful day and thnaks for stopping by!

Favorite Things Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “My Favorite Things.” The Design Team will be showcasing their favorite products from any of the current products and you might even see some sneak peeks, as well! We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

The challenge was deciding on a few of my favorite things since there are soooo many when it comes to Stampin' Up! I finally decided to list some of my fav things and this is what popped! One of my favorite things about SU! is their colors and all the coordinating products with those colors. My fav color is purple and Fresh Freesia is my fav purple at the moment. Now this can change any time as I love several more shades of purple. But as the name suggest- Fresh Freesia is fresh and on trend.

I have here a Fresh Freesia base and used same color card stock to cut my trees from the Christmas Trees dies. I also used this color ink to blend on the Scalloped Contours die. The blending brush I used for blending my background are definately one of my fav new products this year. I also love dies and grab these Scalloped Contours dies all the time. Another favorite thing SU! makes is embossing folders and I have been using this one called Evergreen Forest a lot in the last year. I ran a piece of white card stock through the emboss folder for texture.

I added the Wonderful Snowflake cut out behind my trees. One of my favorite techniques is the heat emboss and so I grabbed some VeraMark ink and stamped the sentiment from the Banner Year stamp set on Fresh Freesia card stock in white emboss powder.  I hand snipped it out to pop up on my card. Finally, I just love rhinestones and even better, when they are colored rhinestones. I added some Fresh Freesia rhinestones to finish it off.

So to re-cap just a few of my favorite things: purple (SU! colors), blending brushes, dies, embossing folders, heat embossing, and rhinestones!

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on January 12th. Our theme will be “Time to Sale-A-Brate” when our Design Team will showcase items from Sale-A-Bration as the focal point of their project.. Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Peace Deer Tags For Gift Bags

I always have bags or boxes for my guests to carry home their creations from class. This month I wanted to give them a bag with a tag to use for the holidays. They can choose to leave on bag and give or use the tag on a gift. I stamped on the Tailor Made Tag cut in white card stock with the Peaceful Deer stamp set. I did the stars in Bumblebee ink and the the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink. I then punched the Peaceful Prints DSP(which was free a few months ago with SAB) with the Label Me Lovey punch. I either hand snipped the deer from the DSP or used the punch depending on which diection he was facing. Some Old Olive/Pretty Peacock ribbon to tie it with a quick knot from some linen trim. They were fast and easy to make.
Hope you have a fun day and thanks for stopping by!

I stamped the wise men in Just Jade, Night Of Navy, and Blackberry Bliss inks then cut them out with the Wise Men Tidings dies. I stamped the sentiment in Just Jade ink on a white die cut from Stitched So Sweetly dies and I also popped a gold specilty paper circle punched from the 1 3/4" punch behind for a touch of sparkle. I finished with a Night of Navy star stamped on the background. I wish I would have stamped a Bumblebee (yellow) star but oh well!
Hope you have a blessed weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Smiles With Polar Bears

Another fun card for Christmas card classes next week with the Arctic Bears bundle and the Star-Crossed embossing folder. I have a white base and embossed apiece of pool Party with the Star-Crossed embossing folder. I then cut the icicies in white along with the little iceburg from the Polar Bears dies.
I then stamped the two size bears on white card stock with Smoky Slate ink and cut them with the same dies. I stamped the sentiment from a retired set called Greatest Part Of Christmas in Pool Party Ink on a white label cut from the Snow Time dies. To finish it off, I cut a So Saffron sun or moon from the same dies.
Hope you have a fun day and thanks for stopping by!
