FMS400 Woven Threads Wishing You Well

I still had some pieces cut from my card class a few weeks ago so

I used them for the lovely 400 celebration sketch this week 

over at freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com

I started with the white base and cut the Woven Threads DSP

to layer and then a piece of Seaside Spray card stock.

I added the next print for the background.

I ran some 1/2" scalloped linen ribbon in Rococo Rose around.

I cut the squares with the Stitched Shapes dies in Rose and white.

I stamped the flowers from First Frost and cut with the 

matching dies. I used same dies called Frosted Bouquet for 

the Seaside Spray filters. I used my leaf punch to punch the white leaves.

Finally, I used the new Gather Together set to stamp 

the sentiment in Rococo Rose ink.

I am in love with the Ornate dies as you know

but also the Stylish Scroll emboss folder shown here 

both from the 2019 SU! holiday catalog!

I used the emboss folder with the Terracotta Tile 

card stock on then layered on a Crumb Cake base.

I cut the large frame in Crumb Cake and the small one 

in Soft Suede.

I cut the two piece of white card stock with two of the label dies

from the same set.

I stamped the sentiment in Suede from Beauty & Joy set 

 and the pumpkins in Terracotta Tile from the Gather Together set.

I colored lightly with the Tile and the Crumb inks

and my blender pen to give a little color on the pumpkins.

I finished it off with two rhinestones I colored with my 

Pumpkin Pie Stampin Blends marker. 

I love showcasing this beautiful emboss folder design!

Love the verse from Hold On To Hope set.

I used it here on a white oval die in Pretty Peacock ink.

I cut the frame from the Heirloom frame die and the 

Woven Threads paper as well as the background print. 

I layered them all on the Pretty Peacock base.

I stamped the floral piece by coloring on the rubber 

with my Peacock and Purple Posy markers. 

I used the matching die to cut out from 

Cross Of Hope dies.

I finished it off with some pearls!

This Beauty & Joy set  from the Su! 2019 Holiday

 catalog is so fun to use!

I stamped the leaves stamp in Garden Green ink on the

Garden Green base many times for a cool background.

I stamped the images/sentiment on the Stitched 

Nested Labels die cut in white and on the one end 

I cut it across plus a snip on the two corners.

I stamped the sentiment in Terracotta Tile,

the urn in Gray Granite, the tree trunk in Soft Suede

and the leaves in Garden Green.

I added the Terracotta Tile faceted dots on the label.

I finished it off with the Magnolia Lane linen ribbon

folded a few times behind the image.

Healing Vibes With Perennial Essence

Another chance to use my Ornate Frames dies today!

I cut the large die in Blackberry Bliss card stock and added the 

sentiment from Healing Hugs stamped in Blackberry on a 

Petal Pink label die also from the same die set.

I layered these on the Perennial Essence DSP and matted it in

white card stock then Petal Pink with more when and 

finally on the Blackberry Bliss base.

I loved the colors in the DSP and the simple and clean look

so did not add any bling/dots/ribbon.

Happy Nautical Birthday

A quick card for my birthday stash!

I stamped the boats from Sailing Home in

Night of Navy on white card stock and colored the bottom

with my Balmy Blue marker. 

I cut them out with the matching die from the 

Smooth Sailing dies as well as the label die 

in Balmy Blue stamped with the sentiment in Navy ink.

I stamped the sentiment from the Perennial Birthday set.

I added a strip of Navy card stock behind the boats and label

but hard to see in photo.

I layered on the Cone Sail Away DSP and a piece of 

navy card stock and then on the Balmy Blue base.

I finished it off with the a Sail Away trinket in the 

silver steering wheel.

Love using the new Brick & Mortar emboss folder.

I gives great texture!

I used it here with So Saffron card stock.

I then layered it on the Gray Granite base.

I cut the Gray stitched circle with the Stitched Shapes dies

and the other with the Wild Rose dies in white card stock.

I stamped the sentiment, rose and leaves in Gray from 

the To A Wild Rose set. 

I stamped the rose with the two step in Saffron and the third

step in Daffodil Delight ink. 

I stamped off once with the Gray ink for the leaves.

I cut the Daffodil stems from the same dies.

I finished it off with the Crumb Cake sequins that are retired.

Some wonderful colors in this Come To Gather suite!

I stamped my leaf in Memento Tuxedo Black ink

on thick Whisper White. I then colored it with my 

Stampin Blends markers in Cajun Craze.

I cut it along with the solid leaf with the Gathered 

Leaves dies. I stamped the sentiment

in Pretty Peacock and cut it with the 

Stitched Nested Labels dies. I popped all these up

on the two panels cut in Pear Pizzazz and 

the lovely pattern from Come To Gather DSP.

I added them to the Crumb Cake background 

embossed with the Subtles emboss folder and layered

on the Cajun base. 

Some linen thread and a few in color dots in

Pretty Peacock to finish it off.

I am in love withe the new Ornate Frames dies 

in the 2019 SU! holiday catalog!

Here I stamped a sentiment from Good Morning Magnolia

set in Mossy Meadow on white card stock and cut with the new dies.

I added the frame behind in Flirty Flamingo.

I think it works beautifully with the gorgeous 

Perennial Essence floral designer paper

I used for the background.

I layered it with more white card stock and a Crushed Curry base.

I finished it with the Crushed Curry 3/8" crinkled seam binding ribbon.

I used several glue dots to layer the ribbon.

Love the way it turned out!

Season Of Thanks

Love the new fall set suite called Come To Gather.

Here I used the new designer paper called Come to Gather 

layered on the Rococo Rose and then the Very Vanilla base.

I ran some of the lovely 1/2" Rococo Rose gathered ribbon around

before adding to base.

I stamped the pumpkins and the leaf as well as the sentiment from the 

new Gather Together set on vanilla card stock in Memento Black .

I cut the sentiment out with the Stitched Nested Labels dies

I cut them out with the matching dies called Gathered Leaves dies.

I colored the leaf in Rose and the pumpkins in Calypso Coral with 

my Stampin Blends markers. 

I hand cu the wheat stalk and the solid leaf with cut from 

Terracotta Tile card stock.

I really like the Rose and Tile colors together!

New color combo!

Nautical Bags For Class

I decided to do a nautical theme for my gift bags

for card classes this month. 

I always make or decorate something for my 

guests to bring their cards home.

I grabbed white and crumb cake bags from the dollar store

 and used my Come Sail Away designer paper for the background.

I cut the Nested Label in watercolor paper and 

took my aqua painter to Balmy Blue ink

to watercolor it.

I stamped the lighthouse in Night of Navy and the 

\anchor in Balmy Blue and cut them out with the matching dies

from Smooth Sailing. 

I also cut the wheel in Crumb Cake and the banner in 

Balmy Blue. I stamped the sentiment in Navy ink on the banner

from the A Big Thank You set.

CTS335 Lighthouse Thanks

Fun sketch today over at casethissketch.blogspot.com 

I thought of the rope die from the Smooth Sailing dies

and cut it in 4 colors- Night of Navy,

Blueberry Bushel, Pacific Point and Balmy Blue.

I layered them across a white background with a matted 

with a layer of Balmy and more white before laying 

on the Navy base.

I stamped the birds in the corner in Balmy.

I stamped the lighthouse from Sailing Home set 

in Navy and cut with matching die.

I stamped the sentiment from same set in Navy

on the Balmy card stock and cut with the cool banner die.

Clean and simple today!

Smooth Sailing dies

FF0040 Vintage Frame Sentiment

For vintage I went with the Heirloom frames/dies and

the Woven Threads DSP for the festivefridaychallenge.com 

I cut the designer paper and then took my finger nails and roughed 

up the edge to distress them. With a peek of the 

Pretty Peacock print on the other side showing,

I stamped the sentiment on Sahara Sand in Pretty Peacock ink.

The sentiment is from the Beautiful Promenade set and I also added 

a little painter splatter look to the paper with the 

stamp from Gather Together in the new 2019 holiday catty.

I inked it up in Rococo Rose.

I added the pearls I colored with the

 Rococo Rose Stampin Blends marker.

I cut and embossed the frame with Terracotta Time card stock.

I popped it up on dimensionals. 

All was placed on a Sahara Sand base to finish.

Oh, I love this card and since my 

mermaid is Ariel from the Little Mermaid, 

it is the perfect birthday wish for a kid (of any age)!

I stamped my mermaid in Memento Tuxedo Black 

on thick Whisper White card stock and hand snipped her out.

I colored her with my Stampin Blends markers.

I used blends of Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake in her hair.

I used ivory for her body. I used a combo of colors for 

her tail- Bermuda Bay, Bronze, Pool Party, and Night of Navy.

I cut the circle out of my white background and stamped the sentiment 

from the same set called Magical Mermaid in Memento.

On a piece of white place behind I used my sponge daubers

to add ink from Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Night of Navy.

I layered all this on the Bermuda Bay base.

I added some sequins from Woven Threads sequins pack.

I stamped the sea horse in Gray Granite ink and colored it with

a Seaside Spray Stampin Blends marker. 

I stamped the other images in same and colored them in 

Crumb Cake and Petal Pink Stampin Blends markers.

I hand snipped the shell and pooped it up after stamping the 

sand in Sahara Sand ink.

I added the Happy Birthday from same set in Night of Navy.

I layered Navy card stock behind and then a 

Seaside Spray stitched rectangle before adding on the Sahara Sand base.

I did run a bit of linen thread around before adding to base.

A Royal Peacock card for classes, yes please!

A forth card for card classes this month.

I did a little casing from Julie Gilson at stampingala.com 

I stamped the peacock in Pretty Peacock ink

and the overly in Blueberry Bushel ink on white card stock.

I colored a little with the Stampin Blends marker in Old Olive.

I then cut it with the matching die. 

I popped it up on the white card stock embossed with the 

Beads & Baubles emboss folder and layered with Old Olive card stock.

I ran a piece of 3/8" Old Olive/Pretty Peacock reversible ribbon.

I also added some rhinestones I colored with my Pretty Peacock

Stampin Blends marker. On the white base a added the strip of 

Noble Peacock specialty paper in Blueberry Bushel then popped the 

rectangle up on top.

I stamped the sentiment in Blueberry on a piece of 

white card stock and cut it out with my new fav

item in the 2019 Holiday catty- Ornate frames dies!

I cut the white Stitched Nested Label and stamped a few clouds 

on in Balmy Blue. I stamped more in same color 

on same color card stock for the background.

I layered it on a white base.

I also stamped the sentiment from the set Above the Clouds in 

Poppy Parade ink.

I stamped the balloons in Mango Melody and Poppy Parade 

and punched with the Hot Air Balloon punch. I stamped the baskets

in Crumb Cake and punched them, too.

I finished off with a red rhinestone.

A Lovely Day

This is my fav of the cards for classes next week.

It is probably because of the Purple Heirloom Frame.

I started with the Rococo Rose base and added the print paper

from the Woven Theads DSP. I cut and emboss the Purple Posy

frame with the Heirloom Frames die and emboss folder.

I added the rectangle of white stamped behind.

I grabbed the sentiment from Forever Lovely set and stamped

it in Rose. I used the First Frost set to stamp the rose in Rose,

the flower/leaves in Rose and Old Olive. 

I cut them with matching dies Frosted Bouquet along with the 

filler in Seaside Spray. 

I finished it up with the Woven Threads sequin pieces.

and Crumb Cake Stampin Blends markers.

I added it to the Mossy Meadow and Whisper backgrounds cut with

an edgelit die from the Magnolia Memory dies.

I stamped the sentiment from same set in Mossy on the 

So Saffrn base and added some pearls to finish it off.

Thankful For Beauty & Joy

I made a few of these cards in the 4" square to include in 

the mailing of the new holiday catalog to my out of town customers.

This new set in the 2019 holiday catalog is called Beauty & Joy.

I did a little casing from one sample.

I used the Early Espresso card stock for the base cut 4" square.

I added a 3 3/4" square piece of the now retired Wood Textures DSP

to the base and added my white stitched nested label on it.

On the label I stamped the basket in Crumb Cake, the trunk in Early Espresso,

and the leaves I inked in Crushed Curry and sponged some 

Mango Melody on before stamping.

I stamped the sentiment in Mango on the white banner and popped it 

up on the label then finished it off with a rhinestone I colored

with mt Mango Stampin Blend marker.

I love Black and White with a hot pink.

I choose Lovely Lipstick to parade with these two colors this week

for the challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com 

I love the Magnolia 3D folder and it looks awesome

with this Lovely Lipstick card stock. 

I only had to add the two stitched nested labels- one in 

white stock stock stamped with the sentiment from Good Morning Magnolia

in Memento Tuxedo Black and the other in Basic Black

card stock but with only one end ran through the die.

I stamped the flower bud from the same set in same ink

and colored it with my Lovely Lipstick Stampin Blends marker.

I cut it out with the matching die from Magnolia Memory dies.

I finished it off with the white polka ribbon

 and bow and the black gems.

I cut the bloom from the Magnolia Lane DSP witht he matching 

die. Such an easy and simple card!

I went nautical for this great sketch.

on the white base and then added the rectangles of
another print of DSP and Balmy Blue card stock.
I placed the Night of Navy strip of card stock below
and then added the white rope and knot die from Smooth Sailing dies.
I cut with the other elements with same dies.
 I stamped the lighthouse in Balmy Blue and the anchor in Night of Navy.
I cut the wheel in Crumb Cake.
I used a sentiment sticker from Come Sail Away
memories & more card pack.
I finished it off with the navy enamel dots at the top.

GDP201 Just For You

I was not sure right away what products I would use for this

color challenge except this print of Magnolia Lane DSP.

I then grabbed the First Frost bundle along 

with the matching dies called Frosted Bouquet as I remembered

the filter die and thought that it would be perfect 

with the Pretty Peacock card stock. 

The roses are perfect in Merry Merlot, too!

I also stamped the long floral piece in Old Olive on the 

leaves and the flowers in Peacock inked with my markers

direct to rubber. 

I punched three Mossy Meadow leaves with the leaf punch.

I finally stamped the sentiment from 

Meant To Be set in Mossy ink on the white Tailored Tag punch.

I layered all on the print DSP then a white piece of card stock

and the Merlot base.

I like the richness of the colors together.

I stamped the bird from Free As A Bird on the cut circle in Memento 

Tuxedo Black ink and colored it along with the leaves and flower.

 I also stamped the sentiment in the same ink. 

I added the Pool Party scalloped circle behind before 

layering on the beautiful Bird Ballad print,  Daffodil Delight 

card stock and white base. 

The flower was cut by hand and popped up on the branch.

This paper makes it easy to make a beautiful card!

I used the Country Home set along 

with the Country Floral emboss folder. 

I think they go perfect together!

I ran the folder through with the Pretty Peacock 

card stock and then layered it on the Very Vanilla base.

I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink

on the Vanilla oval. I colored it with the Stampin Blends markers.

I stamped the sentiment on a strip of Vanilla in Pretty Peacock.

I finished it off with the green pearls.

Don't you love the basketweave folder! 

I ran this piece of Granny Apple Green through with the 

basketweave embossing folder and added it to the 

retied print of designer paper also in Granny Apple

then laid on the white base.

I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black from the 

Time For Tags set and colored with my Stampin' Blends markers

in Granny Apple Green and Pineapple Punch. 

I punched it out with the Timeless Label punch 

and layered on two sizes of Stitched Nested

 Labels dies- one in Pineapple and one in white.

Very simple and adorable!

PP453 Back To School Creativity

I grabbed my Crafting Forever set and created this art card

 for a back to school fell and Claire's theme challenge this week

over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com 

I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black 

on a white oval and colored it with  my Stampin Blends markers. 

I layered a scallop Poppy Parade oval and then a Pineapple Punch.

I stamped the Crackle Paint background in Balmy Blue

on white paper. I added it it the Poppy base.

I also added a Poppy strip stamped with the sentiment in black. 

I finished it off with some Pineapple enamel dots.
