PP809 Noel

I am playing along with Christy's sketch challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com this week! I have a combo of Neutral Noel suite and October Papaer pumkin kit called Noel Greetings. I have a Mossy Meadow base from the kit and I added a piece of the Neutral Noel DSP which I cut the side with the Scalloped Christmas Cheer dies. I then cut the oval piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock with the Noel Tidings dies and ran it through the Softly Woven embossing folder. I stamped the tree from the Welcome Noel stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on white cards tock and cut with the matching dies. I added some red gems from the Adhersive-backed Christmas Berries. The red banner strip and Noel sentiment are from the kit. I finihed with a double bow of white/gold twine.
Hope you have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

Peace Love Joy For Christmas

I did some casing from the SU! catty page17 for the Neutral Noel suite last week. This was my first Christmas card this year and I made 12 of them. I usually send out around 35 so this set me on my way to getting to that total. I have a white base and a layer of the Neutral Noel DSP. I then cut out the large oval greenery in Mossy Meadow card stock with the Noel Tidings dies. I stamped the houses in Pecan Pie and Crumb Cake inks plus the deer in Early Espresso ink and the tree in Granny Apple Green ink from the Welcome Noel set on white card stock than cut with matching dies. I also added a Mossy wreath to the house from same dies. The banner is from the Noel Tidings dies in white card stock stamped with a retired sentiment from the Peace On Earth stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink.
I finished off with some gold gems on the banner.
I will share more creations from this suite soon!
Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

PP807 Warm And Beachy

I am playing along with Jan's colour challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com  I have to say that when I saw these colors I first thought of my Perfectly Pears set and thought of the pears in the green with a blue background.  However, when I read that Jan said it was spring in the South Pacific and I am in Flordia where we are still in much heat, I had to grab my palms! I have used the Paradise Plams set and Palms dies which have retired but still get used a lot here.
I have a Azure Afternoon base with a piece of white card stock ran through with the new Softly Woven embossing folder. I then cut a white oval with the new Noel Tidings dies. I stamped the water/land stamp first in Crumb Cake ink for sand and then Azure Afternoon ink for water on the bottom of the oval. I stamped the trees in Crumb and Granny Apple Green inks on white card stock and cut with matching dies. I popped them on the oval. I stamped the sentiment in Azure ink on a white Stylish Shapes banner die and finished with some Azure Afternoon dots.
Have a wonderful week and thanks for stopping by!

PP806 Love You Lots

I am playing along with Ann's Nature's Landscapes Challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com with a Basic Beige base cut just a little longer than an standard A2 card then I added a bit of Splenid Autumn DSP with a fall scene. I grabbed my Gallery Blooms dies and ran a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock through with the frame die and then ran it through with the Timber embossing folder to look more like a wood frame. I stamped the sentiment from a new set called Poetic Petals in VersaMark ink on Basic Beige card stock and heat embossed with my heat tool and Copper embossing powder. I cut it out with the Stylish Shapes banner die. I finished off with a double linen thread bow.
This will be soon be on its way to my son!
Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!
