Classic Christmas

This was my first draft for card class but I was not getting the green detailed piece to cut well so went with another dies. I did a little casing from tarabethstamps.blogspot.com and you can see her card here. 

I have a Shaded Spruce base and a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock layered on top. I then stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Classics set in Cherry Cobbler ink on the white die cut from the same die set. I then cut out the greenery from Shaded Spruce cards tock to pop behind. I stamped the leaves in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and colored them with my Old Olive Stampin Blends marker. I cut them with the matching dies and then added some red rhinestones on for berries and bling! At the bottom I added a strip of Joy Of  Christmas DSP.

Beary Christmas Gift Bags

 

I decorated my white gift bags for classes last week with the Beary Christmas DSP on the front and the used the new Heartfelt Hexagon punch with Balmy Blue card stock. I stamped the bear from the Beary Cute set in Memento black on white card stock and the scarf in Real Red before before punching with the Beary Cute punch. Too Cute!

Peace On Earth

 

I had to change this a little from the original I designed since one die would not cut well. I will post that card next week. I have a Shaded Spruce base and a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock ran through the Timeworn Type embossing folder for texture. I added the piece of Joy Of Christmas DSP to the bottom with a piece of Old Olive 1/4"twill ribbon wrapped around. I cut the detailed label from Shaded Spruce card stock and the square from the white card stock with the Christmas Classic dies. I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink from the Christmas Classics stamp set. I stamped the holy leaves from same set in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with the light Old Olive Stampin Blends marker and stamped the berries in Cherry Cobbler ink twice on white card stock. I cut those out with same dies.  Finished with some Champagne rhinestones for bling.

Season of Cheer

 

I am using the Horse & Sleigh bundle with some matching One Horse Open Sleigh DSP for my fourth Christmas card class card! I have a white base and added a scene from the DSP for the background. In class, my guest will pick their background from the paper pack. I then cut the white tree from the matching dies to add more texture. I stamped the sleigh in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored with my Stampin Blends markers in Real Red, Pool Party, Petal Pink, Black, and Smoky Slate. I then cut it out with the matching dies tom pop on my scene. I cut the white label from the Nested Essentials dies and stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink.

Beary Christmas

I did some casing for my third Christmas class card with the Beary Christmas suite from Helen Read over at allthingsstampy.blogspot.com  You can see her card here.  I wanted to use the Balmy Ble ribbon like she did but it has been BO and not here in time. So I added a Real Red twine bow but not as cool. I started with a Misty Moonlight base and added some Balmy Blue card stock and a piece of White with the piece of Beary Christmas DSP at bottom. I stamped Balmy Blue snowflakes for the background with the Beary Cute stamp set. I stamped the bear in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of white card stock and punch him out with the matching punch. I stamped a Real red scarf on him from the set. I stamped the sentiment in real red ink on a white strip to finish off with my red bow.

A Season Of Sparkle

 

My second card for Christmas card classes this month is with the Sparkling Snowflakes set. I started with a Pool Party base and a layer of Basic White which I stamped three of the snowflakes. I used Pool Party, Orchid Oasis and Boho Blue inks. After stamping, I ran the piece through the Snowflake Sky embossing folder for lots of texture. I added a white strip with the Pool Party 3/8" sheer ribbon around. I cut the white label from the Autumn Leaves dies to stamp my sentiment in Orchid Oasis ink. I finished with some rhinestones for more sparkle!

Stars Are Brightly Shining

 

This is my first card for classes this month as we launch into Christmas cards this month and next! I used the O Holy Night suite with a Night Of Navy base then a piece of Crumb Cake card stock layered on top with a piece of O Holy Night DSP and a strip of Night Of Navy card stock. I then cut the white circle from the Deckled Circles dies and stamped the sentiment from the Night Divine set in Night Of Navy ink. I cut the people and ship from the matching dies in Night of Navy cards stock. I finished with a adhesive-backed star trinket!

The Star Ornament

 

I made my version of the ornament on page 17 of the SU! holiday catalog thanks to my friend Gale who bought these circle rings at the craft store and gave a few. I made this for my daughter using the Stars At Night bundle and some O Holy Night DSP. I used the Stylish Shapes dies to cut a stitched Night of Navy card stock circle and then added the DSP also cut with the same die. This gave it thickness. I stamped the star 4 times in Night Of Navy ink on white card stock and cut out with matching dies. I layered them all together to make it 3-D. I added the champagne rhinestones to it. On the ring I added the gold cord in a special knot at bottom and top leaving some for tying at top. I attached my circle by running the cord behind and gluing another Night of Navy circle cut with the die to the back.

Pastel Pumpkins

 

I made this card for my daughter with pastel pumpkins because she loves pastels! I did some casing from my friend and fellow Pal, Peggy Noe, over at prettypapercards.com and you can see her cards here. 

I stamped in Moody Mauve, Tahitian Tide, Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia and Lemon Lolly inks for pumpkins with the Pick Of The Patch and used the matching punch to punch them out. I stamped some leaves to punch in Granny Apple Green ink. I cut a piece of white card stock to add my pumpkins as well as extra stems and leaves. I used Lemon Lime Twist card stock to punch some stems for the pumpkins. I added this strip of white to my Bubble Bath background ran through with the Stripes embossing folder and layered on a white base. I stamped the bird in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and hand snipped him out. Then, I stamped the sentiment on a white Double Oval punch in Tahitian Tide ink and I finished off with some Bubble Bath gems.

The Best Autumn Leaves

 

I am back from my travels and I have another fall card for you. I made this one for my daughter and it was already sent. I used the All About Autumn DSP for the background on the Blackberry Bliss base and a strip of another print with books down the front. I cut three leaves with the gold distressed paper and the Autumn Leaves dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Translucent Florals set in Blackberry Bliss ink on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and cut it with the Something Fancy dies. I finished off with some gold sequins!

Grateful September Paper Pumpkin Alternative

 

I wanted to open and play a minute with the Paper pumpkin kit for Septemeber 2023 called With Love & Gratitude. I made an alternative card with the kit.  I love the elements I just punched out from it.

 I cut a white base and a piece of Pretty Peacock card stock then ran it through the Distressed Tile embossing folder. I cut a Cajun Craze die from the Countryside Corners dies to add all the elements on plus some white sequins. I then stamped the sentiment in cajun Craze ink from the kit on a die from the kit to finish it off.
