Reindeer Christmas!

This is the first Christmas card for October class.
I used the reindeer from Cookie Cutter Christmas.
I need to play with more of the stamps in this set.
There are so many options with this set, a gingerbread man or a santa
would work well with this card, too.
I used a few pieces of Candy Cane Lane DSP along
with a few pieces of card stock.
Then finished it off with some shiny baker's twine.
I hope you have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping by!

For You Plaid

I love the plaids in the Warmth & Cheer DSP and need to remember
to use it more often!
I designed this quick 4 1/4" square card for mom this week.
I love fall though I love in Florida and do not always feel the change
of weather or seasons!
I stamped a leaf from  in Delightful Dijon and then stamped a
sentiment from Thoughtful Branches.
I hope you have a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by!

FMS255 Thankful For You

I have been itching to use the Rich Razzleberry houndstooth pattern
from the Petals & Paisleys DSP.
I used some here for my background to the cute acorns.  I stamped the tops
in fall colors and then added them to Soft Suede bottoms.
I added lots of Copper metallic thread behind but it does not show up well in the photo.
I grabbed a sentiment from Sheltering Tree for a thankful vibe.
I hope you can play along with this great sketch over at

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

PPA319 Happy Birthday To You!

I designed this card for both the color challenge and for my friend Irene's birthday!
Love when I get two things done in one!
I thought of the Jar Of Love set since I have not used it in a while
and I love Flirty Flamingo for flowers!
I stamped the jar and water in Mint Macaron, the flowers
in Flirty Flamingo and the stems/leaves in Emerald Envy along with the
sentiment from Circle of Spring set.
I grabbed a few DSP patterns/colors from the Playful Palette while had it out
from earlier in the week for a card on Monday.
However, after I got the card together ,
I realized the pink color was not Flirty Flamingo but
Blushing Bride. But since I had stamped off the Flirty Flamingo
for the base of the flower, it looked like it went together.
But I do want to confess something else!  I am terrible at placing sequins!
Never like how they are placed on a project.
Maybe one day I will achieve sequins balance!
It is a goal now!
Please head over to play along at palspaperarts.com
Have a wonderful Thursday and thanks for stopping by!

Merry Monday #214 Purple Cable Knit Stocking!

I did a little casing from my upline, Mary Fish over at
stampinpretty.com!
She had adorable cable knit stockings in red and green.
But I decorate my tree in purple and silver
so I had to do my fav color purple with some bling.
I did use the cable knit 3D emboss folder.
Great tip: lightly spray the card stock
with some water to make the impression go even deeper!

I used the silver glimmer paper for the top of the stocking.
I knew I wanted to die cut the Noel but what to put it on or on top of?
I finally remembered I had a hearth from my Hearth & Home dies.
I sponged a little Crumb Cake ink on it and popped it up.
I hope you can play along over at

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed Wednesday!

GDP#054 Grateful

I love the vintage leaves and I am loving this Moroccan DSP!
Wish I had bought it sooner but it would be all gone if so!
I started with two pieces both in Delightful Dijon.
I did not realize I had Dijon ribbon until I was looking through for the
natural trim I also used here.
It comes in a trio pack of ribbon in the holiday catty which I bought to
coordinate with my Paisley suite.
I stamped the leaves in Emerald Envy and Cajun Craze
on those coordinating colors of card stock.
I was not going to use a sentiment but thought
I would try stamping the small words from Acorny Thank You
and cutting them out with this small dies from
Bunch of Banners framelits dies.
I moved it around the card and finally landed across the leaves.
I like it because it does not hide the leaves at all.
I hope you can play along with the great sketch challenge over at

PP313 Something Good To Eat!

Sooo thankful my September Paper Pumpkin kit arrived on Sat.
I had no pumpkin stamp. I love pumpkins and collect them in my house decor!
However, not a single pumpkin stamp...what!?!
So this two step pumpkin was in the kit and I decide to stamp it three times
in Peekaboo Peach on Very Vanilla.
I added some swirl dies (kinda of looking
like vines from a pumpkin patch!)
The DSP is from the Playful Palette paper stack.
I stamped a sentiment from the same set in my Paper Pumpkin kit.
Does not read well in photo but says" Something Good To Eat".
I hope you can play along at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com
Have a lovely Monday and thanks for stopping by!
