FF0089 Hello Lighthouse

Today is my 10 year Stampaversary!!!
I became a demo 10 years ago today and really love it!
Next month will be 10 years of classes and 7 years of blogging!
Thank you all for stopping by and supporting my hobby/business!

I used several picks this week for my lighthouse card for the challenge over at festivefridaychallenge.com  I, of course, used the lighthouse, red, blue, twine, and water.
The water is under the lighthouse but also the Timeworn Type embossing folder found in the new holiday catty starting next week on August 3rd, 2021 looks like water here with the Pool Party card stock. I added the embossed card stock to a piece of Real Red and a white base. I then cut a Tailor Made Tag die win white to added my lighthouse stamped from Sailing Home set in Real Red and cut with the Smooth Sailing dies. I colored a little Pool Party on the water and some So Saffron on top for light with my Stampin Blends markers. I then stamped the sentiment from Wild Cats set in Real Red and cut with the die from Smooth Sailing. I tied some red twine-retired on the top of made tag before popping on and finished with some Pool Party rhinestones for bling!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!

PP551 Thinking Of You Seahorse

I thought of the tags and seahorse when I saw Ann's sketch over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com this week. A friend made me a card when she added the seahorse die cut on a Tailor Made Tag die and I thought it was awesome. I cut my seahorse from the Ombre specialty paper from Sea Life dies and popped it on the white tag. I then stamped the sand from the Seascape set in Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake card stock. I also stamped the sentiment from Art Gallery in Misty Moonlight ink on the bottom. I went around the edges of the Crumb Cake with my ink pad to give some sponge effect. I added all to the white base and finished up with some opal rounds. Simple but cute!

Hope you have a sweet day and thanks for stopping by!

Hello Hello Hello Tiger

I love pink and green together and so I tried this new Evening Evergreen with the lovely Petal Pink and love it! Here I started with the the Petal Pink card stock on the white base and then some of the animal print from In The Wild DSP on top. I also place a strip of Evening Evergreen cards tock across where the colors. I did not stamp my tiger but cut it out from another print from the In The Wild DSP with the matching die from Big Cats dies. I then cut some white leaves from the same die set for under my cat.
I stamped the sentiment three times from the Wild Cats set in Evening Evergreen ink on Petal Pink card stock and hand snipped them out. I finished it off with some Evening Evergreen jewels.

Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!

Thank You Welcoming Woods

I am using the Welcoming Woods set in the new holiday catalog which starts next week on August 3rd, 2021 for the first time today. I stamped the trees in Early Espresso ink on a piece of Basic White card stock. I then blended some Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody and So Saffron inks along with a bit of Sahara Sand from top to bottom with a blending brush. I stamped the land stamp which fits in between the trees at the bottom with Bumblebee ink. I layered a piece of Early Espresso card stock behind then added it to a piece of Beauty Of The Earth DSP with the wood grain print to my Pumpkin Pie base.
I stamped the sentiment from the same set in Espresso ink on white card stock and snipped them out separately. I finished it off with some new Brushed Metallic adhesive backed dots.

Hope you have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

I stamped the two flowers in Polished Pink and Pale Papaya inks from the Artistically Inked set on white card stock and cut with the matching Artistic dies. I stamped the sentiment in Polished Pink ink on a strip of Basic White card stock. I also added gold leaves from the Expressions In Ink Ephemera pack. I finished it off with the bow from the same Pale Papaya 3?8" open weave ribbon.

Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards

I was given a set of the Hand-Penned Memories & More cards and just had to make a card with one of the smaller cards from the pack. I grabbed some of the matching DSP called Hand-Penned DSP for the background layered on a piece of Mint Macaron card stock then a white base. The card from the Memories & More pack had the pattern plus the sentiment and the floral stem on it. I then cut several leaves in Mint Macaron card stock plus flowers in Daffodil Delight and Blushing Bride card stocks with the Penned dies. I finished it off with a gem in the center of flower.  These cards in the pack can be used to make fast and easy full cards or scrapbooks/smash books.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have an amazing weekend!

We are headed back on vacay for more beach time on Marco Island next week and so I will return with more creativity on Monday July 26th.

PP549 Thanks Blue Daisies

I knew as soon as I saw Jaydee's color challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com I would do lots of coloring on these daisies using the Daisy Garden background stamp on a white background. I stamped the large image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then used my Misty Moonlight and Just Jade Stampin Blends markers to color the flowers and leaves. I used the Bumblebee Stampin Write marker for the center as there is no blend in this color. I also added some Bumblebee color dots around the daisies. I added the background to a Crumb Cake base to fulfill my neutral color pick and then stamped a sentiment from Simply Succulent set on the same color card stock in Misty  Moonlight ink and cut it out with the Potted Succulents die. I added some Night Of Navy twine behind for more texture.

Hope you have an lovely Thursday!
Thanks for stopping by!

Pretty Pansy Paper Pumpkin Box For Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “Wonderful Cards/Projects from the Garden” where our design team showcase projects from things found in a garden, such as flowers, vegetables, fruits, or even a garden scene. We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. Once you finish here, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Don't you just love these mini paper pumpkin boxes!  So much room to design on the top or all over the box. I just had to use the Pansy Petals suite for the garden theme this month. Love all the colors and it makes me smile!
I first spritzed the box with a spritzer filled with rubbing alcohol and 5 drops of Fresh Freesia ink. It dries real quick. I folded the box together and wrapped two prints of the Pansy Petals DSP around the box. You can slide it off to get inside the box. I then cut the white scalloped rectangle with the Scalloped Contours dies and stamped the sentiment from Pansy Patch in Blackberry Bliss ink on the right corner. The flowers plus the leaves are all cut from another print of the Pansy Petals DSP with the Pansy dies and popped on. I finished it up with the Fresh Freesia 3/8" open weave ribbon tied in a bow.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team, because the Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on August 11th. Our theme will be “My Happiest Season” when our Design Team creates a project showcase projects inspired by their favorite season of the year. Until then, have fun in your craft space.

June Paper Pumpkin Expressions In Color

I played around and made three cards with the June 2021 Expressions in Ink kit from paper Pumpkin.

I used two long floral dies on the piece of Blackberry Bliss and sentiment stamped in Blackberry ink.

I colored the vellum underneath in Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, and Just Jade.

Love the printed vellum on the background and stamped the sentiment in Fresh Freesia ink.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a colorful day!

Amanda's Wild Cat Birthday Blues

Amanda, my daughter, is 26 years old today! Her fav color is a true turquoise but SU! does not have one so I used several of SU! blues together and some of In The Wild suite for her birthday card!  I started with the cat stamped with the Wild Cats stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink and the face in Bermuda Bay ink on white card stock. I then cut lots of greenery with the cat with the Big Cats dies in Misty Moonlight, Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, and Basic White card stocks. I also cut a Pool Party circle to pop all on from the Layering Circle dies. I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink and cut with the Potted Succulents label die in white. I layered it all on a piece of Misty Moonlight card stock embossed with the Animal Print embossing folder. I offset it on a piece of Bermuda Bay card stock and then a white base. I finished it off with lots of bling from the Peacock rhinestones-retired.

Hope you have a wonderful Monday and thanks for stopping by!

PP548 Wishing You The Very Best

This did not photograph well and I am sorry. I am playing along with Anne Marie's theme challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com with stars.  I dug out my Stitched Stars from my Christmas sets/dies box for this card. I did a little casing of Jackie Bolhuis over at klompenstampers.com  I used different colors and a slight different layout/embossing. Hopefully in the second photo you can see the Hammered Metal embossing I did on the background.  I ran it through with a shim so I embossed it softly then I blended some Fresh Freesia ink over with my blending brush. I wanted it to look "pillowy".  I then added it to the white base. I picked Fresh Freesia and Rich Razzleberry for my color combo because I wanted to see if they work well together and I did like them together.
I cut the large swirl in Rich Razzleberry as well as the small detailed star in the middle with the Stitched Stars dies. I cut a Fresh Freesia medium one for the center. I added the silver twine bow from Simply Elegant trim to the center of the star. I also added some rhinestones to my small stars. I stamped the sentiment on white card stock from Friends Are Like Seashells set in Rich Razzleberry ink and cut with the label die from the Peach dies.
Hope you have a fab weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!

Goldfish Seascape

I made this card as an under water scene with the lovely goldfish die from the Sea Life dies. I cut the fish out with white card stock and then used my blending brush to add Petal Pink, Mango Melody and Calypso Coral inks.  I then ran it over with my Wink of Stella pen for some shine. I then stamped my scene on the white background. I used Sahara Sand ink for the coral, Pool Party for the bubbles, and Calypso Coral for the small fish all stamped from the Seascape set. I stamped the sentiment from Shaded Summer in Memento Tuxedo Black on the bottom. I layered on a piece of Mango Melody card stock, a strip of Basic Black, and a Calypso Coral base. I finished off with some opal rounds to add more bling.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a picture perfect day!

A One Of A Kind Swan

I made another 4 1/4" square card but this time with the host set called Prince & Princess. I stamped the swan image in Memento Tuxedo Black on a white die from the Encircled in Beauty dies. I then added a little Balmy Blue with the Stampin Blends marker to the feathers.  I then stamped the water in Misty Moonlight ink and added some of that Balmy Blue Blend to it. I stamped the sentiment in Memento ink. I also colored the bill of the swan with a Calypso Coral Stampin Blend marker.  I layered it on the piece of Beauty Of The Earth DSP and white base. I finished it off with some opal rounds for a little bling.

Hello Hello Hello Beauty

This is my first play with the Beauty Of The Earth suite and I went for a fall look. I stamped the tree from Beauty Of Friendship on a piece of Basic White in Early Espresso ink and then stamped the leaves. For the leaves, I inked the stamp in Bumblebee ink and then sponged on some Cajun Craze ink before stamping on the tree. I added some grass at bottom with Mossy Meadow ink. I layered a piece of Cajun Craze cards tock behind. I love this print of the Beauty Of Earth DSP I added to the Cajun Craze base. For the sentiment, I stamped it three times on the Bumblebee card stock in Craze ink and cut them all out with my snips.
I hope you have a lovely Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

FMS492 Peachy Thanks

I wanted to play with the flowers from the You're A Peach suite so it worked perfect for the sketch challenge over at freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com this week. I started with a 4 1/4" square white base. I added the You're A Peach DSP print cut 4" square. I then added the white square to that after stamping in Petal Pink the splatter stamp from the Color & Contour set.  I also stamped some on the white die I cut with the Potted Succulents dies before stamping the sentiment in Calypso Coral ink. I stamped the flower set twice  from the Sweet As A Peach set-once in Petal Pink and once in Calypso Coral. I stamped the peach in Coral ink and the leaves in Granny Apple Green ink. I cut them along with the Granny Apple Green branches with the Peach dies. I added champagne rhinestones to the centers for bling.
Hope you have a wonderful Monday and thanks for stopping by!

GDP298 Thinking Of You With A Seascape

I decided to make a lovely under water scene with three different stamp sets and 2 dies sets for the global-design-project.com sketch challenge. I started with the white panel background and stamped the big splatter several times from the Artistically Inked set in Pool Party ink. I then cut the sea horse from the Fresh Freesia shimmer vellum paper with the Sea Life die. I then cut the coral in white card stock from the same Sea Life dies and blended Mango Melody and Calypso Coral ink over them with the blending brush. I cut a strip of Sahara Sand and stamped in Pool Party ink with the splatter from the Seascape set. I stamped the sentiment from Beauty of Friendship in Calypso Coral ink on Pool Party ink and cut with the Beautiful Trees dies. I layered all on a Pool Party base and finished off with some adhesive backed sequins from Expressions In Ink ephemera pack.

PP547 Hand-Penned Is Possible

Laurie's sketch over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com is lovely and I realized I have not used much of my Hand-Penned suite and it would be perfect for it. I started with a white base and layered the Hand-Penned DSP print cut with the Scallop Contours die. I wrapped some white twine around before before adhering. I then stamped the floral image on white in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the sentiment in same ink on Fresh Freesia card stock. I cut the floral image with the matching die from Penned Flowers dies and punched the oval from the Double Oval punch. I colored the floral image with Mint Macaron, Pale Papaya, and Fresh Freesia Stampin Blends markers.
I layered these on and added the white twine bow. I finished it off with some Fresh Freesia rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day!
