Hello Pumpkin Mini Treat Bag

I made these bags for a few friends and filled them with a few mini candy bars. These mini treat bags are from thepaperpixie.com and you can see her blog post on them here. I used retired designer paper for mine in a Cajun Craze houndstooth print. I cut the pumpkins and leaves from Detailed pumpkins dies in Cajun Craze and Garden Green card stock. I used some retired Cajun Craze thread for the bow and cut the little white tag is cut from the Meadow dies. I stamped the sentiment from Sweet As A Peach set. I clipped them with gold clips that are also retired.
Hope you have a beautiful plus safe weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Wild Arctic Bears Birthday

I mailed this off to my brother for his birthday next week using the Arctic Bears bundle. I grabbed some colors like in the mini holiday catalog to case SU! card but I added babies. Love the little cubs! I layered Calypso Coral on the Coastal Cabana base and then stamped on the white background in Basic Gray to make the glaciers and for the birds. I then blended on Coastal Cabana ink for the water and some Calypso Coral and Pale Papaya for the sky with my blending brushes. I stamped the bears on white card stock in Basic Gray and cut them with the matching dies called Polar Bears dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Wild Cats set in Cabana ink to finish it off.

Hope you have a wild day and thanks for stopping by!

Quiet Meadow Heartfelt

This card went out to my Aunt Sylvia this week as we lost my Uncle Harold to a massive heart attack on Sunday. I just received this bundle called Quiet Meadow from my friend Pam Morris. This was my first use with the bundle and I am glad I thought to pair it with the beautiful Blackberry Beauty DSP. I layered the paper on a Rich Razzlberry base and then stamped on a piece of white card stock. I blended Cinnamon Cider ink on the white with a blending brush. I stamped the background words with same color and then the ink platter with Rich Razzleberry ink stamped off. I stamped the sentiment from the Quiet Meadow set in Razzleberry ink on a white label cut with the Ornate Frames dies. I then cut two stems from the Meadow dies- one in Rich Razzleberry card stock and one in gold foil. Shown behind is my envelope to mail where I stamped a flower from the same set in Rich Razzleberry ink.

Hope you have a blessed Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!

FMS508 & GDP315 Best Time For Pretty Pumpkins

I am playing along with the sketch over at freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com and the theme challenge over at global-design-project.com with my pretty embossed pumpkins! They are photographing a little lighter here but I did stamp the pumpkins from Pretty Pumpkins with VersaMark on Petal Pink card stock and heat embossed in white embossing powder. I cut them out with the matching Detailed Pumpkins dies.  I added them to the scallop rectangle cut from Scalloped Contours dies in Early Espresso card stock. I added behind a strip of Crumb Cake and a piece of the In Good Taste DSP. I then stamped the sentiment from Peaceful Deer in Cherry Cobbler on a Crumb Cake label die cut from the Potted Succulent dies. A few copper brushed metallic dots to finish it off after ding all to the white base.

PP563 & GDP314 A Blackberry Beauty Birthday

I am combing the sketch over at global-design-project.com and Jaydee's birthday theme over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com for today's card. I had to pull my Blackberry Beauty DSP back out and add it to the card. I cut it with a stitched rectangle die then added to the piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock embossed with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder and layered on a Blackberry base. I then cut a stitched circle from the gold shimmer vellum paper in the holiday catalog and popped up an owl die cut from the Blackberry Beauty ephemera pack. I used a label die from the same pack with gold trim to stamp the sentiment from the retired Clubhouse set in Blackberry Bliss ink. I finished it off with a few square gems in Cinnamon Cider.
Hope you have beautiful fall weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Snowman Season

I did a fun fold for my last Christmas card this month since I am using a fun set! I got the fold/cut from my friend and fellow demo Jackie Beers over at jackiebeers.com  You can see her card here.  I cut a regular A2 size Night Of Navy base but just cut two triangles off the top flap of the card. I marked the three sides at 2 3/4" and cut from there. I also embossed the flap with the Subtles embossing folder for texture. Inside I layered a piece of Poppy Parade and then a piece of Basic White.
I stamped the corners of the white in Pool Party ink with the the snowflakes from Snowman Season set
and the sentiment in Poppy Ink. I then stamped the snowman in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a white stitched oval and colored him with my Stampin Blends markers in Pumpkin Pie, Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Pool Party and Poppy Parade. I then cut a Poppy Parade scallop oval from Layering Oval dies to pop behind. I finished off with some snowflake sequin retired from last holiday season.
Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!
Thanks for stopping by!

Merriest Moments

I know that purple of not a tradition Christmas color but I love it and thought it was perfect for my fourth card for class and with this bundle. I started with a Gorgeous Grape base and cut the solid Merriest Frames die in Highland Heather card stock. I then cut the white card stock with the detailed die from same dies and then embossed it in the matching embossing folder. I cut the center stitched rectangle out from the same dies in white to stamp my sentiment from Merriest Moments set in Gorgeous Grape ink. I then stamped the flowers in Grape, Highland Heather and stems in Granny Apple Green before cutting out with the Merriest Frames dies. I finished it off with a pastel pearl in Gorgeous Grape.
Have a beautiful Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

My third Christmas card for classes this week of course is with the Gingerbread & Peppermint suite!
I did a little casing for my layout from Julie Gilson over at stampingala.com  See her card here
I used a white base to layer the Real Red card stock and then a piece of white embossed with the Timeworn Type embossing folder for texture. I layered with a piece of Real Red mini ruffled ribbon and a strip of Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP. I stamped the Real Red ornament from the Frosted Gingerbread set along with the candy and cut out with the Gingerbread dies. I also cut out the snowflake and bell from another print of the DSP with those dies.
I then stamped the sentiment on white card stock and cut it out with the label from Pretty Pillow Box dies which are a part of the large suite. A few red rhinestones finish it off.

Peaceful Deer

This is my first Christmas card for classes this year! I used the Peace Deer bundle along with some free designer paper Peaceful Prints from the sale-a-bration (SAB) promotion that just ended. It coordinated with this bundle and I love a plaid print. I added it to a piece of Garden Green card stock and a white base. I then cut a white stitched circle and stamped the trees in Garden Green ink and starts in Sahara Sand. I then popped all on the base after tying some Cherry Cobbler twine and bow around. I stamped the deer in Soft Suede on Crumb Cake cards tock and punched out with the Deer Builder punch. I cut the white label from the Potted Succulent dies and stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink.

A Snowflake Pinwheel Card For The Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is Fantastic Fun Folds and 3D Projects. We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

My favorite color is purple so I had to design my first pinwheel card with it!  I made the pillow box in gold specialty paper with purple decor for my post yesterday so I decided to do the pinwheel card the same. For instructions on how to make this A2 size special fold card, I am turned to my talented friend and fellow demo, Julie DiMatteo at thepaperpixie.com and you can see her card with the instructions here.  You can see a list of products and colors below. I used one sentiment from the Snowflake Wishes set and one from the Peaceful Deer set. I liked using several different types of paper like shimmer vellum, gold specialty and gold foil plus some DSP.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on November 10th. Our theme will be “Home for the Holidays” when our Design Team creates a project to celebrate the upcoming holidays. Until then, have fun in your craft space.

May you have a blessed week and thanks for stopping by!

Snowflake Pillowbox

I like playing with the pillowbox die from the Gingerbread & Peppermint suite called Pretty Pillowbox die and some of the lovely gold specialty paper. I cut the box with one piece of 6" x 6" paper and it folded together easily. I wrapped and adhered the Highland Heather 1/2' grosgrain ribbon around. I used a Wonderful Snowflake cut out plus I cut a Gorgeous Grape and a Highland Heather snowflake with the So Many Snowflakes dies. I finished off with a Gorgeous Grape rhinestone. This box was much smaller than I thought it would be but it can still hold candy or jewelry.

Hope you have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!

FMS506 Happy Christmas

Nice sketch this week over at freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com and I got to use a cool idea from my friend and fellow demo, Pam Morris at taptapstamp.blog  I took a piece of water color paper and wet it with a water painter brush. I then dropped a little ink in two colors-Highland Heather and Fresh Freesia onto the paper and let it run. When dry, I used the Christmas Trees dies to cut two out. I added some rhinestones for bling. I then cut some white card stock to add to my white base and three strips of in color shimmer vellum in Fresh Freesia. I used a Wonderful Snowflakes cut out behind the trees. I love the sentiment from Warm Hugs set stamped in Blackberry Bliss.

Hope you have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!

Ombre Bag With Gorgeous Leaves

I made some tags for the ombre bags for a World Card Making Day project. I got together with several friends who are awesome Stampin Up! demos like me! We each brought a project for all to make and so I came home with so many cool projects done! I used the Tailored Tags dies to cut white and gold tags. I used the gold metallic specialty paper to cut the tag and the leaf from Intricate Leaves dies. I stamped the leaves in Blackberry Bliss and Soft Succulent inks from Gorgeous Leaves set and cut them with the matching dies. I popped them up on the tag after stamping the wood background image From the same set in Soft Succulent ink and the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss from Banner Year set. I used the same color as the bag with the open weave ribbon in Evening Evergreen.

Here is a photo of us stamping away on World Card Making Day Oct 2nd 2021:

Best Wishes

Let's talk scraps and DSP! I am a paper hoarder and I do not like to throw away any paper esp designer paper. I kept several scraps of this black and white plaid print from the Pattern Party DSP I used on a card for classes last month and used four of them here. I cut a white rectangle stitched die and added the four pieces of DSP on for a background. I added that to a piece of Basic White card stock and a Basic Black base. I then cut a Polished Pink floral die from the Artistic dies. I stamped the sentiment from Artistically Inked set in Memento Tuxedo Black on white card stock and cut it with Tasteful Labels dies. I added a few black dots to finish it off.

Hope you have a lovely Thursday and thanks for stopping by!

Thinking Of Love Of Leaves

I wanted to cut more leaves from the Stitched Leaves dies in fall colors for a card. I started with Mossy Meadow, Cherry Cobbler and Crushed Curry card stocks and cut the leaves and then sponged some Soft Suede ink around the edges. I layered the Cherry base with a piece of Crushed Curry card stock and a piece of white card stock cut/embossed with the die from Stitched Leaves dies. I also added a panel of In Good Taste DSP with a wood print and a strip of Cherry Cobbler card stock before popping up the leaves. I then stamped the sentiment from the Beauty Of Friendship set in Soft Suede and cut it with the Potted Succulent dies. I finished it off with a few brushed metallic dots.

Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!
