Brusho Watercolor Butterfly

I placed some of the Prussian Blue Brusho Crystals in a bowl
and squeezed my aqua painter to mix water with the color.
I then stamped my butterfly image from
Beautiful Day stamp set in Versa Mark ink
on the water color paper.
I used the gold emboss powder and my heat to emboss the image.
I used the color to paint inside the butterfly.
A few areas I went over again to make darker.
He really looks like a patch work butterfly.
I layered the 3 1/8" square on some gold foil.
I placed it on the Dapper Denim base but then decided
to use another stamp in the set to add to the side along
with some gold enamel shapes.
I tried to place a sentiment on but it just did not flow.
I like it without so can use for any occasion.
The Brusho color is great for coloring but hard to clean
the crystals around you
I am enjoying creating with the Brusho colors!

I hope you have a safe and fab New Year's Eve.
Happy Last Day of 2017!
Thanks for stopping by!

Coral Rose With Thoughts & Prayers

I stamped this large rose last month and blended it
with the Stampin Blends markers in Calypso Coral and Rich Razzleberry.
I hand cut it and cut off the leave on the right so could get around the white space
and then tuck it in a little to the rose.
I stamped the sentiment from the same Rose Wonder stamp set.
I added some enamel shapes in Old Olive before placing it on the
piece of Petal Garden DSP and a thick Whisper White base.
The layout was not so great
but the focus is on the rose and sentiment anyway!

I hope you enjoy your last weekend of 2017!
Thanks for stopping by!

Razzleberry Roses For You

Another image I colored last month and cut out
with an oval die and popped up on a piece of Petal Garden DSP.
I placed that on a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock
and then a thick Whisper White base after running some
Fresh Fig 1/8" sheer ribbon with a bow. I added some coral shapes on
because I noticed some ink on the right by the flower.
You got hide something now and again!

Coral Roses For You

I took a few photos since I placed the image off set
instead of straight on the card.
I colored the rose in Calypso Coral and Old Olive last month
and finally cut it out and designed a card with it.
I added the sentiment from the same set called Graceful Garden.
I layered the image on a piece of Petal Garden DSP in Coral.
I grabbed a piece of Coral card stock for the base and placed another
piece of the same DSP in another print for the background. I ran some
thick coral twine around and made a bow to finish it off.
I hope you have  a blessed day and thanks for stopping by!

Bermuda Bay Bloom Blended

This card and the next several have images I stamped last month
and then sat down and colored/blended with my Stampin Blends markers.
I colored the bloom from Birthday Blooms in Bermuda Bay, Old Olive and
a little Daffodil Delight in the center. I used an oval die to cut it out.
I have pulled the Merry Little Christmas DSP in the prints with white and
Old Olive to use since they do not look Christmas at all.
I used the polka print here on some Bermuda Bay and then a thick
Whisper White base. I did run some
Bermuda Bay mini chevron ribbon around before
pooping the oval image on the top.
I like these colors together..they really pop!

I hope you enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!

Always Thinking Of You

I stamped and colored this flower from the new Beautiful Day stamp set.
I colored it with the Stampin Blends markers after I stamped the image
in Memento Tuxedo Black on thick Whisper White.
Ilove how the Rich Razzleberry blends.
I hand snipped it since I knew it would be easy.
I layered it on some new paper called Petal Passion DSP.
I thought the Razzleberry would pop on it and it did!
I added a sentiment from the same set stamped in Razzleberry, too.
I layered it all on a Razzleberry base.
I finished it off with black rhinestones.

Hope you enjoy today's project. The set and DSP will be
available in the new Occasions catalog which begins Jan 3rd, 2018.

Thanks for stopping by!

Merry Christmas To You!!!

Merry Christmas to you and hope you are having a lovely day!

For my last Brusho Crystal Color card(for now),
I used the one called Yellow.  Now since the others have names,
I am guessing the person doing the naming does not like yellow!
Anyway, a little coral comes through on it and if you look hard in the
top left corner, I got some blue I think transferred from my
scratch paper. I placed the background on
a piece of Calypso Coral card stock and a then a Very Vanilla base.
I added some gold natural trim and then some gold faceted gems for bling!
I stamped the flower from Beautiful Day thick Whisper White and used my
Stampin Blends in Coral, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight.
I hand snipped it and popped it on the background!

I have enjoyed making backgrounds with the Brusho
and can't wait to try other techniques with this color.

I hope you have your family have a blessed
Christmas Day!
Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful Day With Brusho

Merry Christmas Eve to you!

I used the Brilliant Red Brusho Crystal Color
on water color paper this time.
I sprinkled the red powder on the water color
paper and then sprayed it with water.
The color, like the Prussian Blue, is so bright and rich.
I layered it on the Bermuda Bay card stock and
then a piece of thick Whisper White.
For the butterfly from the Beautiful Day,
I stamped it on thick Whisper White in
Memento Tuxedo Black.
I used the Stampin Blends in Bermuda  Bay and Pool Party
to color  and I hand snipped.
Now the antennas on the butterfly did not snip well.
So I stamped the butterfly on the water color paper background
and layered the colored butterfly over it.
I added some black rhinestones and the sentiment
from the same set to finish it off.
I really like these colors together.

Thanks for stopping by and have a Merry Chrsitmas Eve!

Always Thinking Of You With Brusho

When I did the Brusho Crystal Color in Prussian Blue
on the water color paper, I immediately thought of the
Weather Together set.
I sprinkled the blue powder on water color paper
and sprayed the paper with water.
I then stamped the umbrella on water color paper
and cut them out with the matching dies
Umbrella Weather framelits.
I colored them with the water color pencils in Real Red,
Daffodil Delight and Basic Gray and used the
aqua painter over the colors.
I added the sentiment from Beautiful Day
in Real Red on Whisper White.
I layered the background on Real Red and then thick
Whisper White card stock.
I think the blue is my favorite of the Brusho colors!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful Christmas weekend!

Best Birds With Brusho

I stamped the bird on thick Whisper White in Memento
Tuxedo Black and then blended with the Stampin Blends
with Calypso Coral. I then created a scene layering on the
Gamboge Brusho Crystal Colour background.
I sprinkled the powder on a piece of watercolor and then
sprayed water on to watch the color emerge.
I love seeing the coral and yellow together.
I cut the Wild Wasabi leaves and Calypso Coral detailed die
from the new Petals & More thinlits dies. I added some
Burlap ribbon for more texture behind.
I layered it all on a base of Calypso Coral.

Purple Butterfly From The Heart

I sat down on Saturday and finally got to play
with the new Brusho Crystal Colour that will be available
in the new Occasions catalog on Jan 3rd, 2018.
I cut several pieces of water color paper and then
sprinkled the powder and then sprayed it with water.
The color spreads and makes an awesome background!
On this card, I used the Moss Green which surprisingly
not green at all but love the speckled which looked
purple to me so I cut an Elegant Eggplant large butterfly
to put on top of this great background.
I decided to add some gold foil and heat emboss the
sentiment from Petal Palette on vellum.
I layered the background on So Saffron
and then a Elegant Eggplant card base.
Hope you enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!

From The Heart

Several elements are on this card but it was really fast and easy to
design. I stamped the roses and the bird on thick Whisper White
card stock and colored with my Stampin Blends markers.
I cut them out and they laid on my desk a few days until
I was ready to design a card with them.
I like to stamp images and then while watching TV
(yes, right now that is mostly Hallmark Christmas movies and
some other classic Christmas movies), I will blend with the
Stampin Blends markers.
I grabbed the Rich Razzleberry base and then layered white with Pool
Party after running it through the Brick Wall emboss folder.
I cut out the detailed die in Whisper White and then the label looking die
in Rich Razzleberry all from the same framelits set called Petal & More
that match the stamp set I used the sentiment from called
Petal Palette.
I like these colors together!
Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and thanks
for stopping by!

At Home Holiday Card

I stamped these images and colored them about a month ago.
I had stamped many images and then sat a few nights with my
Stampin Blends markers and did loads of coloring/blending
while watching TV.
I finally cut them this weekend and placed on a piece of
Real Red ran through the Brick Wall emboss folder.
I layered that onto a thick Whisper White base.
I placed a piece of Crushed Curry behind the window for a lit effect.
I did not put a sentiment on the front because I will send to my mom
as a thank you card after Christmas.
I send out several thank you cards after the holidays
so I like to have some like this one hand.

I hope you have a blessed Tuesday!

Flying Home

I did some more blending with the Stampin Blends
and the new set in the Occasions catalog which starts Jan 3rd 2018.
It is called Flying Home. It has several bird images including this one I colored
and the little all birds on the top and bottom.
I stamped the image on thick Whisper White in
Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I then cut it with the Layering Squares framelits dies and added
the Calypso Coral square behind it before layering on the
Bermuda Bay base.
I stamped the base with the Bermuda Bay ink adding a couple of birds
and a background stamp from new Waterfront set also from the new catalog.

I did some coloring with the Stampin' Blends and a set from the
annual catalog called Brighter Wishes.
I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black on thick Whisper White.
I layered some Rich Razzleberry behind and then place it on a thick

I did not place an sentiment on it since I need more cards in my stash

The World Brighter

I started with the sweet scene I created with the
Waterfront stamp set in the new Occasions catalog
which starts Jan 3rd 2018.
It has pine trees and palm trees in the set.
Some landscape items and a sun. It also has some great sentiments
like this one which i will probably a bunch.
I stamped the sentiment in Island Indigo. I stamped the beach in
Sahara Sand, the tops of trees in Old Olive and the bottom of trees in
Soft Suede.
I cut it out with a Layered Circle framelits dies.
I popped it on a piece of Sahara Sand ran through
the Pinewood Planks emboss folder.  I sponged some
Sahara Sand ink over it before placing it on a piece of Very Vanilla
and then a Island Indigo base.
For more texture, I place a piece of burlap ribbon behind the scene.

I love this set and hope you enjoy the scene today!

Every Little Kindness

I made this card as a thank you for a customer to go in the her new catalogs
I was mailing out this week.
I started with a Crumb Cake base
and added some Quilted Christmas DSP on top.
I stamped a sentiment from a new set called Waterfront.
Love the sentiment and will probably use it a lot.
I used a retired 2 3/8" scallop circle punch with Lemon Lime Twist.
I put some fun ribbon behind plus some bling on the white circle to finish it off.

Petal Palette Card

I love the Petal Palette bundle.  I especially love that
these flowers have a matching die!  I stamped them in
Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with my
Stampin' Blends in Pool Party and Old Olive.
I layered them on a Whisper White oval
I had already laying on my desk.
I stamped the sentiment from the same set in black.
I used the new Petal Passion  DSP for the background.
I love the black and white but it can be colored, too!
I placed some Pool Party card stock behind for the next layer
and then the Basic Black base.
This card was done in just a few minutes!

Amazing!

I got my pre order for the new Occasions catalog this weekend.
I got only a few minutes to play with shopping
and my husband's 50th birthday happening.
Can't wait to do more playing with new stuff!
I looked at the front of the SAB (sale-a-bration) brochure
and grabbed the colors from one card for this one.
I used a Calypso Coral base an stamped in the same color the flower from
the new SAB set called Amazing You.
I stamped the sun ray stamp from the same set twice on the
Whisper White circle in Daffodil Delight.
I layered a thinlit die from Celebrate You in Bermuda Bay on top.
I stamped in Bermuda Bay words and cut them out.
I finished it with some rhinestones!

Merry & Bright Truffle Boxes

I am calling them truffle boxes because that
is what I put inside of them- Lindt's Lindor white and milk chocolate truffles.
I got the box idea from Angie Pyjas at stampingwithamore.com
They were so easy to make!
I used the Year of Cheer DSP for the boxes and then my tag topper punch
for the tops. I punched gold foil circle then stamp in Eccore gold
ink on the white circle with the Merry & Bright sentiment from
Hearts Come Home stamp set.
Some gold 1/8" ribbon and silver tinsel trim finish these off.

Better side photo. Perfect for a single candy like I did!
Hope you have a blessed Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Just For You Mini Striped Gusseted Bags

I made these bags for my tags class last week to carry their creations home.
I took the flat mini gold striped treat bags and with a little cutting and scoring,
I turned them into a gusseted bag.
Cut 1/8" off the bottom of the bag.
Score the bottom at 1" and then 3/4" on each side of bag.
Cut up from the bottom at each score line to the 1" score line.
Apply adhesive to your flaps and close the bottom.

I decorated the bag by making a tag and attaching with
the gold clip.
I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock at about 4 1/2" and then
snipped a banner at the bottom.
I layered it with Year of Cheer DSP and added some
mini gold sequins.
I punched a piece of black with the Everyday Label punch
and added some bling with rhinestones.
I heat embossed the Merry Little Labels sentiment in gold
and then punched with the same matching punch.

Hope you have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping by!

Tree and reindeer are great dies from Santa's Sleigh and love the plaid
Year of Cheer DSP in gold!
Some stars and snowflakes along with snowflake sequin
makes for a very bling tag!

The house edgelits dies are perfect (from Hometown Greetings edgelits).
You can cut in half and have two pieces for two tags!
Matching stamps have the cute Santa with sleigh stamp.
More stars from Starlight thinlits dies in glimmer gold
are great on a Smoky Slate background.
Love the Christmas stocking thinlits dies for a lovely silver foil stocking with
a gold foil topper!  It is finished off with some Tear of Cheer washi tape.

Love the reindeer from Santa's Sleigh framelits dies in glimmer gold!

We love snowflakes and embellishments, too!
More bling the better!

Christmas Tags Day Three

Welcome back to Christmas tags week-Day Three today!

My first tag  you may have seen around three weeks ago when I posted
it with some projects I had designed for the InkBig design team.
I used a piece of thick Whisper White and the Scalloped Tag topper punch.
Layered some Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler card stock.
I stamped the sentiment from Ready For Christmas in Memento Tuxedo Black.
I also stamped the gifts from the same set and colored with markers.
I cut them with the matching dies called Christmas Staircase thinlits dies.
Some rhinestones and Mini Tinsel in Real Red and silver ribbon to finish it off.

Second tag used the same white base and scallop topper punch.
I layered Real red card stock with the lovely plaid from
Christmas Around the World DSP. On the other side of that plaid
is the nutcrackers. I decided to hand snip one out and pop
it up the for the focus of this tag!  It is finished off with Real Red ribbon.

The third tag used the same DSP in a different plaid.
I layered it on the Basic Black base using the same topper punch.
I punched the gold foil and the Real Red with circle punches and the
sentiment stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black is from a retired set
called Tin of Tags. I love the sentiments in that set so I am keeping it around.
More Real Red ribbon the finish it off.

Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!
See you tomorrow for more tags!

Christmas Tags Day Two

Welcome back to Christmas tags week day 2.
I continue to use the Merry Little Labels bundle,
the set and punch for my tags today.

The first is on Cherry Cobbler card stock with the
Scalloped Tag Topper punch with some Be Merry DSP
behind the Cherry Cobbler punch  and the Garden Green sentiment punched out.
I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler and finished it off with a little bling!

Second tag is on Basic Black card stock with the edges corner rounded.
I added a stitched circle in Whisper White then a piece of Merry Little Christmas DSP
before adding the sentiment stamped on Whisper White in Memento Tuxedo Black.
I also used some Old Olive 3/8" mini chevron ribbon  for the tie.

For the third tag, I used some Garden Green card stock with a piece of Be Merry
punched out with the Everyday punch and a piece of Cooper foil banner peeking behind.
The sentiment is stamped on Whisper White in Garden Green.
I also stamped the holly from Carols of Christmas set
and die cut out with matching dies. I finished it off with some Cherry
Cobbler 1/4" double-stitched ribbon.

Stop back tomorrow for more tags since it is Christmas tags week here!
Thanks for stopping by today and have a blessed Monday!
