Every Little Kindness

I made this card as a thank you for a customer to go in the her new catalogs

I started with a Crumb Cake base
and added some Quilted Christmas DSP on top.
I stamped a sentiment from a new set called Waterfront.
Love the sentiment and will probably use it a lot.
I used a retired 2 3/8" scallop circle punch with Lemon Lime Twist.
I put some fun ribbon behind plus some bling on the white circle to finish it off.

Petal Palette Card

I love the Petal Palette bundle.  I especially love that
these flowers have a matching die!  I stamped them in
Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with my
Stampin' Blends in Pool Party and Old Olive.
I layered them on a Whisper White oval
I had already laying on my desk.
I stamped the sentiment from the same set in black.
I used the new Petal Passion  DSP for the background.
I love the black and white but it can be colored, too!
I placed some Pool Party card stock behind for the next layer
and then the Basic Black base.
This card was done in just a few minutes!
I will be playing lots with this bundle!

Amazing!

I got my pre order for the new Occasions catalog this weekend.
I got only a few minutes to play with shopping
and my husband's 50th birthday happening.
Can't wait to do more playing with new stuff!
I looked at the front of the SAB (sale-a-bration) brochure
and grabbed the colors from one card for this one.
I used a Calypso Coral base an stamped in the same color the flower from
the new SAB set called Amazing You.
I stamped the sun ray stamp from the same set twice on the
Whisper White circle in Daffodil Delight.
I layered a thinlit die from Celebrate You in Bermuda Bay on top.
I stamped in Bermuda Bay words and cut them out.
I finished it with some rhinestones!

Hope you have a lovely week!

Merry & Bright Truffle Boxes

I am calling them truffle boxes because that
is what I put inside of them- Lindt's Lindor white and milk chocolate truffles.
I got the box idea from Angie Pyjas at stampingwithamore.com
They were so easy to make!
I used the Year of Cheer DSP for the boxes and then my tag topper punch
for the tops. I punched gold foil circle then stamp in Eccore gold
ink on the white circle with the Merry & Bright sentiment from
Hearts Come Home stamp set.
Some gold 1/8" ribbon and silver tinsel trim finish these off.

Better side photo. Perfect for a single candy like I did!
Hope you have a blessed Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Just For You Mini Striped Gusseted Bags

I made these bags for my tags class last week to carry their creations home.
I took the flat mini gold striped treat bags and with a little cutting and scoring,
I turned them into a gusseted bag.
Cut 1/8" off the bottom of the bag.
Score the bottom at 1" and then 3/4" on each side of bag.
Cut up from the bottom at each score line to the 1" score line.
Apply adhesive to your flaps and close the bottom.

I decorated the bag by making a tag and attaching with
the gold clip.
I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock at about 4 1/2" and then
snipped a banner at the bottom.
I layered it with Year of Cheer DSP and added some
mini gold sequins.
I punched a piece of black with the Everyday Label punch
and added some bling with rhinestones.
I heat embossed the Merry Little Labels sentiment in gold
and then punched with the same matching punch.

Hope you have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping by!

Tree and reindeer are great dies from Santa's Sleigh and love the plaid
Year of Cheer DSP in gold!
Some stars and snowflakes along with snowflake sequin
makes for a very bling tag!

The house edgelits dies are perfect (from Hometown Greetings edgelits).
You can cut in half and have two pieces for two tags!
Matching stamps have the cute Santa with sleigh stamp.
More stars from Starlight thinlits dies in glimmer gold
are great on a Smoky Slate background.
Love the Christmas stocking thinlits dies for a lovely silver foil stocking with
a gold foil topper!  It is finished off with some Tear of Cheer washi tape.

A box full of tags!  My daughter and I made these together

Christmas Tags Day Three

Welcome back to Christmas tags week-Day Three today!

My first tag  you may have seen around three weeks ago when I posted
it with some projects I had designed for the InkBig design team.
I used a piece of thick Whisper White and the Scalloped Tag topper punch.
Layered some Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler card stock.
I stamped the sentiment from Ready For Christmas in Memento Tuxedo Black.
I also stamped the gifts from the same set and colored with markers.
I cut them with the matching dies called Christmas Staircase thinlits dies.
Some rhinestones and Mini Tinsel in Real Red and silver ribbon to finish it off.

Second tag used the same white base and scallop topper punch.
I layered Real red card stock with the lovely plaid from
Christmas Around the World DSP. On the other side of that plaid
is the nutcrackers. I decided to hand snip one out and pop
it up the for the focus of this tag!  It is finished off with Real Red ribbon.

The third tag used the same DSP in a different plaid.
I layered it on the Basic Black base using the same topper punch.
I punched the gold foil and the Real Red with circle punches and the
sentiment stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black is from a retired set
called Tin of Tags. I love the sentiments in that set so I am keeping it around.
More Real Red ribbon the finish it off.

Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!
See you tomorrow for more tags!

Christmas Tags Day Two

Welcome back to Christmas tags week day 2.
I continue to use the Merry Little Labels bundle,
the set and punch for my tags today.

The first is on Cherry Cobbler card stock with the
Scalloped Tag Topper punch with some Be Merry DSP
behind the Cherry Cobbler punch  and the Garden Green sentiment punched out.
I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler and finished it off with a little bling!

Second tag is on Basic Black card stock with the edges corner rounded.
I added a stitched circle in Whisper White then a piece of Merry Little Christmas DSP
before adding the sentiment stamped on Whisper White in Memento Tuxedo Black.
I also used some Old Olive 3/8" mini chevron ribbon  for the tie.

For the third tag, I used some Garden Green card stock with a piece of Be Merry
punched out with the Everyday punch and a piece of Cooper foil banner peeking behind.
The sentiment is stamped on Whisper White in Garden Green.
I also stamped the holly from Carols of Christmas set
and die cut out with matching dies. I finished it off with some Cherry
Cobbler 1/4" double-stitched ribbon.

Stop back tomorrow for more tags since it is Christmas tags week here!

Christmas Tags Day One

Welcome to a week of Christmas tags!
This is day 1 of my days o' tags. I have a Christmas tag class this week.
A day I lay all my supplies out and my guest come
and make as many tags as they want.
Crazy but loads of fun!
I used the Merry Little Labels bundle which has a set and matching punch.
So easy to use especially use the punch for behind details, too.
I used Be Merry Paper on the first tag with the punch and gold foil
along with an Old Olive circle. Finished it off with some Quilted Christmas ribbon and
a Christmas Around the World embellishment.

The second tag I used Merry Little Christmas DSP
with a black banner and strip of Copper foil behind the sentiment.
Some jute ribbon to finish it off.

Third tag I used a retired tag topper
punch with Christmas Around the World DSP behind my sentiment layered
on Real Red and Basic Black card stock. I added lovely gold foil leaves from
the leaf punch and some 1/8" Real Red ribbon to finish it off.

Come back all week for more tags!
Thanks for stopping by today and have a lovely Sunday!

Merry & Bright Stockings

These were the November Paper Pumpkin kit.
I put 9 of them together and decorated them all the same.
I plan to give these to a the hostess at my Bible study on Wed the 13th.
I am going to place inside a Panera Bread gift card and a note for each.
Some candy will probably find its way in, too!
The stockings are a burlap material and the tags come with the
gold tree so I just stamped in Dapper Denim the sentiment.
I added the leaves and twine with the clothespin which were included in the kit.

Sweet project this month!
Hope you have a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by!

'Tis The Season To Be

This card was weeks in the making.  First I had stamped the sentiment
at the top and then placed the DSP from Be Merry DSP at the bottom.
It did not look right so it sat on my desk for a week and then I thought
I would add some washi tape from the Year of Cheer washi tape.
It sat for a few more weeks and then I did decided this week what image I would do.
I was trying to fit another image that just did not work.
Sometimes a thing needs to sit and you look at it for a while.
I really like the candles from the same set-Merry Patterns
with the Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green. I added the branches and a
Cherry bow from the Pretty Pines thinlits dies.
I finished it off with a pearl on the bow!

Hope you have a blessed Friday and weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Blended Florals

Floral Statements have it all!  One stamp and you are pretty much done
with the floral and the sentiment all in one!  I used my Stampin Blends to
color the flowers and leaves-Pink Pirouette, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight.
I stamped first in Memento Tuxedo Black on thick Whisper White.
After cutting it out with the Oval die, I blended the flowers
and added some enamel dots in Pink Pirouette.
I layered the oval on a piece of Pink embossed
with the Layered Leaves emboss folder then on a Pink base.

Sweet Blended Nutcracker

This is another image I colored with my Stampin Blends markers.
I colored with Cherry Cobbler, Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight, and Ivory.
I enjoyed coloring the nutcracker here from the Sugarplum Dreams set
in red and then I did it again in blue which I will post at a later date.
I already had this pieces cut and left over from a card class so I only
had to cut the image with a oval and layer with a Real Red scallop oval.

Happy Thanksgiving and GDP114 Hot Chocolate X 6

First, A Happy Thanksgiving to all!
We go out to eat after watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade!
So it will be a easy day until about 6 pm when I concentrate
on a little online shopping!

For the card:
I had my Hug in a Mug set out from yesterday's card
I just had to use it today. I stamped the mugs in Early Espresso six times
and punch with the 1 1/4" sq punch.  I stamped the inside with Soft Suede
and added the marshmallows in Crumb Cake ink.  I just had to add
a Real Red candy cane to one of them!
I layered them on a piece of Real Red stamped with a sentiment
from the same set. Some Wood Textures DSP was calling and I finished it
off with some white twine and a bow.
I hope you can play with the sketch challenge over at

PP371 Sending Warm Thoughts

I had colored the cup and lid from Merry Cafe a little over a week ago
when I stamped a bunch of images and sat down with my new
Stampin Blends markers.  I colored the cup with
the Crumb Cake markers and the lid with Cherry Cobbler.
I added them to this layout as I like the red and the thought
of hot cocoa plus some snowflakes would be great inspiration.
The sentiment is from the Hug In A Mug set, the snowflakes plus the "steam"
are dies from Swirly Snowflakes and the DSP is Quilted Christmas.

Two For One Birthday Cards!

I have two cards for you today!
I was asked to make these for a friend.

Card One: I stamped this card with the High Tide set.
I pulled my classic colors-Crumb Cake, Island Indigo and Cherry Cobbler.
These colors are prefect for this set!
I did used the sentiment from Guy Greetings to finish it off.

Card Two: I used the Balloon Celebration set with a Pool Party background.
I stamped the clouds in white craft ink but they do not show up as
well in the photo here.
I stamped the balloons in Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight.
I used Memento Tuxedo Black for the strings and the sentiment
I grabbed from Birthday Banners stamp set.
I used the balloon punch and popped them up.
I finished it off with some enamel shapes.

A Red Door Merry Christmas

Love red doors! I colored this one a few weeks ago
when I received my new Stampin' Blends markers.
It was colored with Cherry Cobbler.I used Old Olive kind of dark
on the greenery with more Cherry for the berries.
I used Smoky Slate for the pot so I
cut a Smoky Slate mat for my sentiment.
I layered them all on a piece of
Wood Textures DSP and then a piece of
thick Whisper White for the base.
I did add a little So Saffron card stock behind the window

FMS313 Snowflake Blessings

When I saw this sketch, I envisioned snowflakes. Since I wanted my
die cut snowflakes white, I used Soft Sky for a background and stamped
in that same color for the snowflakes in the Colorful Season set.
I used the dies from Seasonal Layers with thick Whisper White for my cut snowflakes.
I decided to use Night of Navy and a sentiment from the same stamp set
in the center.  Some rhinestones for bling finished it off.

Great sketch over at fabfridaystampinchallenge.blogspot.com

and added the thin 1/8" Real Red ribbon to make the four "boxes".
I stamped the deer from Santa's Sleigh a few weeks ago and colored it
with the Stampin' Blends markers.  I used Crumb Cake to color the deer
with a little Ivory on the hooves and Cherry Cobbler to color the bow.
I cut them out with the matching dies from Santa's Sleigh thinlits dies.

'Tis The Season

I really wanted to use this set for this sentiment!
It is a two step with the words and the detailed inside.
I stamped the first in Memento Tuxedo Black and the inside sentiment
in Cherry Cobbler. I stamped the deer in Cherry on the Merry Music DSP
for Jingle Bells (that is the song on the sheet).
I layered it on a piece of Basic Black card stock.
I also layered a silver foil snowflake behind. Love the texture
with the Cable Knit 3D emboss folder. I layered it all on white and then a
Basic Black base.
For more bling, some silver sequins to finish this fifth card for November
card classes off!

I just had to use purple on this fourth card for November card classes.
I grabbed Elegant Eggplant and white for card stock but did add some
silver with the 1/8' ribbon and bow plus a Wisteria Wonder snowflake.
I cut the snowflake border with the Swirly Snowflakes thinlits dies and layered
some eggplant card stock over and then more white for the sentiment
plus snowflake from Snowflake Sentiments set.

Season Like Christmas

I did a little casing from Leanne's tree card over at
literallymyjoy.com for my third class card.
I used the holly emboss folder with Always Artichoke for the background.
I layered it on a piece of Old Olive and a Sahara Sand base.
I then stamped on a piece of Sahara Sand and layered it on more Old Olive.
I stamped the tree in both Old Olive
and Always Artichoke and the trunk in Soft Suede.
I then stamped the snow in VersaMark ink and used the White
emboss powder to heat emboss it along with the
snow on the ground. I finished it up
with some 3/8" mini chevron ribbon in Old Olive.
A sweet sentiment inside would finish off the card.

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday and thanks for stopping by!
