My Thoughts In Gorgeous Leaves

I had to do some leaves with the baby wipe technique this week! I know my leaves are not perfect spaced but you know it was homemade (with love)!
For the tech- I placed a few baby wipes together and dropped Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, and Old Olive ink dots around to make a stamp pad. I stamped the leaf from Gorgeous Leaves set around as a wreath and then did some splatter with that stamp from same set in Crushed Curry ink.
I added the baby leaves to the corners. I cut a scallop circle in white from the Tasteful Labels dies and stamped the sentiment from Prized Peony set in Razzleberry ink. I finished off with some genial gems in Pale Papaya and inked with the Rich Razzleberry Stampin Blends marker. All was added to a Razzleberry base.

Hope you have a lovely Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

FMS500 Blackberry Beauty Always

I did have a hard time cutting into this gorgeous paper because I am a paper hoarder! But it was the perfect time to use the Blackberry Beauty DSP along with the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera pack items for the sketch challenge this week over at freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com  Congrats on their 500th sketch challenge/10 years!

I started with the Blackberry Bliss base and added a piece of Polished Pink before placing a print of the DSP. I then cut another print for the 2" strip on the side. I grabbed the large owl for the pack along with some gold cut leaves for the center. I used a printed label from the pack to stamp the sentient from Friends Are Like Seashells across in Blackberry Bliss ink. I finished it off with a gold bow of Simply Elegant trim.

Hope you have a fab Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Gorgeous Leaves For Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “My Happiest Season”. We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

I love fall and to make cards with leaves/foliage. I also love purple so I combined my favs to make this fall inspired card for this month's theme. I did not use a happy fall or give thanks sentiment so I can use this card for some different occasions. I did start with a Very Vanilla piece of card stock to make my background. I first blended Fresh Freesia ink over most of the card stock with a blending brush. I then stamped two large splashes in Blackberry Bliss ink from the new Gorgeous Leaves set. I ran it though the new Timeworn Type embossing folder for more texture. I stamped the bigger leaf in Blackberry Bliss and the smaller one in Fresh Freesia plus sponged some Blackberry on it around the edges. I cut them out with the matching Intricate Leaves dies along with several gold foil ones. I stamped the sentiment from Shaded Summer in Blackberry Bliss ink on Very Vanilla and cut it along with the Blackberry Bliss label one from the Potted Succulents dies. I placed some gold thread behind the sentiment and added some bling with the In Color jewels in Fresh Freesia.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on September 8th. Our theme will be “Focus on the Sentiment” when our Design Team creates a project showcasing a sentiment as the focal point of their project. Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Hope you have a gorgeous day and thanks for stopping by!

GDP303 Hello Jar Of Flowers

Great theme over at global-design-project.com this week as we all have floral images in our craft room!  I sat down this week and felt like doing some coloring so I had stamped the floral images from Jar of Flowers, which I have not touched in a while, in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored them what I wanted with my Stampin Blends markers. I cut them out by hand set aside to use on projects sometime.
Then Monday when I saw the challenge this challenge I grabbed my Pretty Flowers embossing folder and this flower bunch colored with Fresh Freesia, Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green blends to make a card. You get that loads of flowers from the embossed image I ran in Fresh Freesia and layered on a white base. I cut the white rectangle from Scalloped Contours dies and the tag from Ornate Frames dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Forever Fern set in Memento Tuxedo Black. I also stamped the Jar and stems in same ink on white card stock. I colored the stems in Granny Apple Green and stamped the water in Pool Party all from the Jar of Flowers set.
I punched it out with the matching Jar punch. I added the Pale Papaya bow and a pastel pearl to finish it off.

Have a beautiful weekend and thanks for stopping by!

I have wanted to play with the Friends Are Like Seashells bundle plus the matching Seashells 3D again and Joanne's theme challenge for the seaside over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com is perfect timing.

I started with the background I cut from pearlescent paper and embossed with the 3D embossing folder. I blended with sponge daubers 3 colors- Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay and Pool Party inks. I layered it on a piece of Pacific Point card stock and a Very Vanilla base.   I then stamped the shells on Very Vanilla card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with the sponge daubers in same colors I used for background plus Gray Granite ink. I hand snipped a few and other s I cut with their matching die from Seaside Seashells dies. I then stamped the sentiment in Memento on Very Vanilla card stock and cut it with the Tailor Made Tags dies. I tied some Pool Party 3/8" sheer ribbon on to keep it light.

Love the shimmer of the paper and these colors together!

Thinking Of You With Beauty Of The Earth

I did some casing from the wonderful SU! artisan Angela Meiritz-Reid over at stampingbeauty.blogspot.com for this Beauty Of The Earth suite card. You can see her card here.  I decided not to use the bark embossing folder but the Tasteful Textile embossing folder on the blue piece of the designer paper called Beauty Of The Earth. I layered it on a Misty Moonlight base. I then cut another piece of the designer paper but this time in a leaves print with the Basic Borders dies. I has an uneven scallop edging. I cut the tree from the Beautiful Trees dies with white card stock.  I also cut the bird from the same dies in white and sponged some Misty Moonlight ink lightly over him. I grabbed some retired blue/silver twine to added behind my sentiment which was stamped from the Beauty of Friendship set in VersaMark ink on Misty Moonlight card stock and heat embossed in white emboss powder. I cut it out with the label die from the same Beautiful Trees dies.
Love how it turned out and will make some more in other colors!

Thanks for stopping by and have a beautiful Wednesday!

A Hydrangea Birthday

I made this special fold card for my friend Joann's birthday a few weeks ago. She loves purple just like me and the Hydrangea suite as well. So I grabbed some of the designer paper I still have been I bought so much of it and layered one print of Hydrangea Hill DSP on a piece of Highland Heather card stock. The card stock is cut at 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and the designer paper cut 1/8" smaller. I then cut the white card stock at 8 1/2' x 3 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4". I stamped the sentiment inside in Gorgeous Grape ink from the Hydrangea Haven set. I also stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment in same ink color on white and punched out with the Double Oval punch. I then stamped the large hydrangea with stems and leaves in Memento Tuxedo Black on white card stock and used the two step stamps in the set to color in with Highland Heather and Old Olive ink. I used the matching Hydrangea dies to cut it out. I popped on a Gorgeous Grape ribbon bow to finish it off. The front of the white is layered with the a piece of Highland Heather card stock cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I also cut another piece of the Hydrangea Hill DSP to add under the flower.

Hope you have a sweet Monday and thanks for stopping by!
