FF0039 Hope

I am playing along with the lighthouse and light rays 
challenge over at festivefridaychallenge.com 
I grabbed my High Tide set and the colors inspiration
from my upline Mary Fish. 
I stamped the first lighthouse image in Coastal Cabana
and the second step in Pretty Peacock. 
I stamped the rays in Coastal but after stamping off once 
to make them lighter. I stamped the water in the same color.
I added some shore line with the Sahara Sand. 
I stamped the birds in Poppy Parade and they look great flying high.
I finished the scene with the sentiment in Peacock. 
I layered my background on Poppy and the a Peacock base.

Celebrate Cake Wedding Card


I cased a card on Pinterest but now can't find it. 
I used the lovely Cake Soiree bundle for this clean and simple card.
I stamped the cake on a piece of Petal Pink card stock
in Lovely Lipstick and cut with matching dies.
I added some pearls to the details on the cake.
I stamped the sentiment in same color on white background. 
I added it on a Smoky Slate base.
I stamped the flower in Lovely Lipstick and the leave in 
Old Olive inks. Cut those all with the matching dies. 
I also cut the detailed cake stand in silver foil.

This is the last of my wedding cards I made 
for a customer last month. I have to make a few for myself 
for September.

Congratualtions! Wedding Card


I did a little casing from Stesha at stampinhoot.com 
for this second to last wedding card!
 I used the wonderful First Frost bundle and the beautiful
label die from Stitched Labels. 
I heat embossed the sentiment from First Frost in white on the 
Blackberry Bliss label. 
I stamped the roses in Bliss and cut them with the matching dies from
Frosted Bouquet dies. I stamped the greenery in Mint Macaron
and cut with die. I cut the filter with the dies and silver foil paper.
I added all these to the Mint embossed background with the
Subtles emboss folder.
I ran a strip of pattern paper from the retired Festive Farmhouse
DSP with some Bliss behind. 
All was layered on a Mint base to finish it off.

PP452 Being You




Love this paper called Bird Ballad DSP. All the prints are so beautiful.
I used this floral one on the Petal Pink base.
I then added the Pool Party strip of card stock which I ran 
through the Basket Weave emboss folder. 
I stamped the birds and sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black from 
Free As A Bird set and colored the 
image with Stampin Blends markers. 
I used Old Olive for the leaves, Crumb Cake for the branch,
Flirty Flamingo for the flowers, and Petal Pink for the birds.
I did run the color lifter a bit on the bids belly
 to lift some color to make it lighter.  
I colored the sky in Pool Party around the image of birds.
I punched the leaves in Old Olive and vellum card stock
with the leaf punch and finished it off two rimmed pearls.

Happy Wedding Day


I used the lovely Petal Promenade DSP again but this marble print
just so pretty and begging for copper accents!
So I stamped the flowers from Beautiful Promenade 
in VersaMark ink on Very Vanilla 
and heat embossed the copper emboss powder. 
I stamped the sentiment from Beautiful Bouquet set on the Very Vanilla oval 
and heat emboss in copper also.
I added some copper foil leaves from the same Beautiful Layers dies.
A little copper trim vanilla ribbon finished it off.

Happy For You Two


This is my favorite of all the wedding cards I made last month.
I used the this lovely Purple Posy card stock because it was the perfect 
color for the roses in this print of Petal Promenade paper.
I layered the paper on the Posy card stock and hen a Very Vanilla 
base after running some Very Vanilla lace trim around.
I stamped the image in VersaMark ink on the Posy Stitched 
Nested Labels and heat embossed in gold. 
I also heat embossed in gold the sentiment from the same set 
called From This Day Foward. 
I added pearls to the sentiment Very Vanilla strip.

Wishing You All The Best


Another wedding and Petal Promenade DSP card.
I layered this beautiful print on Very Vanilla
 and then a Blushing Bride base. 
I stamped the sentiment from First Frost in Gray Granite ink
on the Very Vanilla oval.  I added the colored pearls.
I stamped the roses in Blushing Bride and Lovely Lipstick and cut them with the 
matching dies as well as cutting the Very Vanilla and Blushing Bride filter stems.
I finished it off with the Very Vanilla lace trim.

I love this paper so it is sad it is retired but glad 
I kept lots for wedding cards!

Congrats To You Two


I used the Floral Romance DSP again for another wedding card.
I layered this print on some Pear Pizzazz card stock and then a white base.
I stamped the sentiment from Your Perfect Day in Early Espresso ink
and cut it with the Stitched Nested Labels dies. 
I added some pearls to the label.
I punched out the leaves in Pear, Petal Pink and vellum paper
with the leaf punch. I finished it off with the new Petal Pink 5/8"
Organdy Striped ribbon.

For The Two Of You


Parade of wedding cards this week! 
I made this one for a customer last month with the 
Your Perfect Day set which is retired.
I heat embossed the cake in gold along with the sentiment 
on white card stock cut with Stitched Rectangle dies.
I colored a little with the Petal Pink Stampin Blends markers.
I stamped the wreath in Pear Pizzazz and hand snipped it
and cut it in half for the sides.
I added the Petal Pink behind the image and layered 
on the Vellum from Floral Romance specialty DSP 
plus white card stock.

PP451 Geared Up




I used the Geared Up Garage bundle for Ann's 
masculine theme this week. I stamped the car with 
VersaMark on black card stock and heat embossed with
white emboss powder. I cut it with the matching die and popped 
it up on a white stitched circle with the sentiment stamped in 
Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I cut the gears with the Garage Gears dies and the galvanized silver 
paper. I stamped several of the images from the set in black
on the Basic Gray card stock. I layered them on the white base.

Always & Forever


Here is one of 10 wedding cards I made for a customer 
last month. I stamped the flowers from Petal Palette 
in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with the 
Stampin Blends markers in Rococo Rose and Old Olive.
I cut it with the  matching dies called Petal & More.
I stamped the sentiment from From This Day Forward set 
in VersaMark ink and heat emboss with 
gold emboss powder. I cut it with the label die from same dies.
I layered these on the gold and Very Vanilla paper retired
 and Very Vanilla layered behind. I ran a piece of Rococo Rose 
card stock through the Subtles emboss folder
 and added to the Very Vanilla base.
I finished it off with pearls.

Simply Having A Great Day


Last card for the parade of Come Sail Away memories and more cards.
I love the Blueberry Bushel blue behind the laser cut card.
I added the ship DSP from Come Sail Away DSP behind. 
I then layered on Crumb Cake and then a Blueberry base. 
I ran some Crumb Cake twine around. I placed sentient sticker on 
a Blueberry label from the Smooth Sailing dies.

Happy Day


For the fourth card, I used the rope laser cut and layered 
it on the piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock.
I then added the striped print paper from Come Sail away DSP on the 
Cherry Cobbler base and then popped the ropes up.
I stamped the sail boat from Sailing Home in Night Of Navy
ink and cut it off with the matching die. I colored the 
boat with a Cherry marker. 
I used a compass and sentiment sticker from the card pack.
I finished the card with the Navy twine bow.

The Perfect Day


For my third card using the Come Sail Away
memories and more card pack. 
I used the anchor laser cut card and layered it on the 
anchor print card. 
I added the cards to the embossed Balmy Blue card stock.
I used the Subtles emboss folder for texture. 
I ran some white twine around before 
laying it on the Night of Navy base.
I used the sentiment sticker on the bottom from the card pack.
I finished it with the anchor trinket tied on the white twine.
Love the white and Balmy together.

Another Come Sail Away memories and more card pack
card today! This uses two small cards- one lighthouse and one
print with stripes layered on a piece of Night Of Navy 
embossed card stock. I used the High Seas emboss folder
for some textures. I added to a white base.
I stamped the sentiment from Sailing Home set in Night Of Navy ink 
on a white label cut from Smooth Sailing dies. 
I used a compass sticker from the card pack and a Sail
Away trinket steering wheel.

CTS330 Every Moment



I made 5 cards with the Come Sail Away 
memories and more card pack plus the matching suite.
This is the first of 5 cards posting this week while I am 
over on Marco Island.
For this card, I used the lighthouse small card and then added the 
laser cut card frame on top.
I popped it up on a print of Come Sail Away DSP and then on 
the Night of Navy base.
I stamped the anchor on white card stock in Navy ink
from Sailing Home set and cut it out with the Smooth Sailing dies.
I used a sticker sentiment from the pack to place across my lighthouse.
 I added some Navy twine to finish it off.
These card packs make card making fast.

PP450 Sending Healing Thoughts




I love these flowers and thought of them and this set 
as soon as I saw that great color challenge from LeAnne.
I stamped the flowers from Healing Hugs in Blueberry 
Bushel and Balmy Blue and hand snipped them out.
I stamped the leaves too in Granny Apple Green and snipped them out.
I layered them on the Birch background. 
I used the background stamp on white card stock 
with Crumb Cake ink then layered on a Blueberry base.
I stamped the sentiment from the set in
 Blueberry on a white label cut from the Lakeside dies.
I finished it off with some rhinestone on the sentiment popped up.

Rose And Merlot Wedding Card


I am loving the new in color Rococo Rose with the 
Merry Merlot. I used them here as they matched the colors
in my retired Petal Promenade DSP. 
I layered the DSP on a piece of Merry Merlot
 and then a Rococo Rose base.
I then stamped the sentiment from Beautiful Bouquet 
in VersaMark ink on the Rose circle
 and heat embossed it in white emboss powder.
I added it to the Merlot die cut from Beautiful Layers dies 
and then ran some new ribbon around.

It made a lovely wedding card I made for a customer a few weeks back!

Happy 24th Birthday Amanda!


Happy Birthday To My Sweet Girl!

Amanda loves anchors and her fav color is turquoise!
I used Bermuda Bay ink to stamp the anchors from Sailing Home set 
ten times and cut them out with the matching dies. 
I arranged them on a white piece of card stock and layered 
with a piece of Bermuda Bay card stock then a white base. 
I stamped the sentiment from Very Vintage that just retired in same ink
and layered it with a Bay strip across. I finished it off 
with rhinestones I colored with my Bermuda Bay Stampin Blends marker.

Hello Purple Posy


Yes, I love Purple Posy!
This is my first card with the Heirloom frames.
I decided it had to be in purple. 
I cut the frame with the die and then ran it through the emboss folder.
I think rubbing some ink on it with help in the future to make the 
frame emboss part pop more. 
I stamped the Free As A Bird image on the white card stock
in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with my Stampin' Blends markers. 
I colored the birds with a mixture of Light Daffodil Delight and 
Light Mango Melody plus Dark Mango on their beaks.  
I stamped the flowers and the sentiment and cut them out by hand.
I colored the flowers with Purple Posy and Mango Melody blends.
I added the frame to a piece of Purple Posy gingham designer paper
that I added the ribbon to and layered o a Posy base.
It really made for a sweet card today!

GDP197 Happy Birthday Harry

Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration - Seaside Spray, Terracotta Tile, Pear Pizzazz


These colors together made me think of the ocean and 
my friend Harry the Octopus!  I grabbed a piece of white card stock
and stamped the textured strip in Seaside Spray from 
Sea Of Textures several times down the paper.
I then stamped the seaweed in Pear Pizzazz.
 I added this to piece of Terracotta
Tile card stock and finally the Seaside Spray base.
I cut the seaweed die with Pear paper. I stamped Harry in 
Terracotta ink and cut him with the matching die.
Both of these are from the Under The Sea dies. 
I stamped the sentiment in Terracotta ink from Perennial Birthday set
on a piece of Seaside Spray card stock then punched out
 with the Tailored Tag punch.
I finished it with some sequins for bling.

FabFri167 A Lovely Day



Love the sketch over at fabfridaystampinchallenge.blogspot.com 
this week. I thought it was a wonderful chance to use the 
Perennial Essence DSP. It is so beautiful.
I used a piece for the background I layered on the 
Blackberry Bliss base. I cut a strip of the floral print and 
added the Blackberry card stock that I cut with
 the Be Mine Stitched die border.  I stamped the sentiment from 
Forever Lovely set in Blackberry ink on the stitched white oval.
I finished it off with Blackberry Bliss gems.

CTS329 Here's To You Seaside!



I was not sure what I would do when I saw this sketch over at
casethissketch.blogspot.com 
I decided it was an opportunity to use my Seaside Notions set.
I cut the designer paper in three colors from the Brights DSP collection.
I layered them on the white card stock base.
I stamped the seahorse and two shells in Memento Tuxedo Black
on white card stock then colored them with Coastal Cabana,
 Flirty Flamingo and Sahara Sand markers. 
I hand snipped them out and popped them up.
I added some rhinestones for bling. 
Sentiment is from the set in Black on a white banner.

PP449 Set Sail




Great theme from Laurie this week over at The Paper Players!
I decided to go with sailing which I love!
I made my scene with the Sailing Home bundle along 
with the High Seas emboss folder.
I used the white base to start and added the panel of 
Night of Navy and then the emboss paper in Pool Party.
I stamped the birds on the white card stock base in Navy ink.
I stamped the sail boats in Navy on white and cut them with the matching die.
I colored them with the Cherry Cobbler and Pool Party markers.
I stamped the sentiment from the set in VersaMark ink
and heat embossed it in white on Navy card stock.
I cut it with the label die in the Smooth Sailing dies set along 
with the wheel in Cherry. I finished with the white/silver twine bow.

FMS395 Petal Pink Hello




When I saw the sketch over at freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com 
I thought of the large magnolia bloom from Good Morning Magnolia.
 I stamped it on white in Memento Tuxedo Black
 and colored it with Stampin Blends markers.
I used Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow with a little Daffodil Delight
in the middle. I cut it with the matching die called Magnolia Memory.
I cut the label from Stitched Nested Labels dies in Petal Pink card stock.
I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black and added pearls. 
I added the Magnolia Lane DSP on Mossy Meadow and placed a strip
of Mossy across with Petal Pink ribbon.

GDP196 Thankful Sunflowers




I liked casing Connie's card...it is a great layout with lovely colors!
I used a white base and the Seaside Spray gingham paper.
I stamped the sentiment from Painted Harvest 
in Memento Tuxedo Black on the paper
background then stamped the flowers on leaves on white paper
and hand cut the flowers out and punched the leaves.
I stamped the flowers in Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry.
I stamped the middle in Seaside Spray along with Mossy Meadow dots. 
I stamped the leaves in Mossy Meadow. 
I finished it off with yellow pearls.

I loved how the flowers pop off the card and background!

Yellow Magnolia Lane

Happy Independence Day!
Hope you and yours have a fun and safe holiday!
We will be kickin around at Disney Springs
and eating good at The House of Blues. 


I had the magnolia bloom sitting colored on my desk
 for about two weeks now. I guess it was time for a home.
I saw this sketch on Pinterest this week and decided to 
finally use it. Thanks Patsy Waggoner at stampstodiefor.com 
for the inspiration.
 I grabbed the Magnolia Lane DSP in the leaf Mossy Meadow print
for the background and added to the whit base.
I cut the stitched label die in white and stamped the sentiment
from Good Morning Magnolia in Memento Tuxedo Black.
I stamped the flower in same ink and colored it with Pineapple Punch
Stampin blends marker along with a combo of Old Olive and 
Mossy Meadow for the leaves. I popped it 
up on the background after I laid some new Magnolia Lane 
linen ribbon behind. A few yellow pearls to finish it off.

It was a quick card but really sweet!

FF0037 Hello Yellow!

I was inspired by Cindy Schuster over at nutmegcreations.blogspot.com 
for this card when I was looking around on Pinterest!  I loved her layout
but she used different colors and that awesome new lace die.
I started with the color yellow for the challenge over at 
festivefridaychallenge.com 
I layered a piece of So Saffron ran through the Tin Tile emboss folder
and layered on a white base. 
I cut the label die from Wild Rose dies in white and stamped the 
sentiment from To A Wild Rose set in Memento Tuxedo Black. 
I stamped the flower and three leaves in the black on white card stock
and colored them with my Stampin Blends markers in 
So Saffron and Old Olive. I also cut some leaves in Saffron and Olive
to add as extra texture. The bow was with the new crinkled seam binding 
ribbon in Crushed Curry. I finished it off with some artisan pearls in yellow.
