Hello Butterfly

I wanted to ink up the Butterfly Brilliance large die as a background. I had a Pool Party base sitting on my desk that I had not used so stamped the white panel in Pool Party ink and added the Basic Black panel on top. I then cut the two butterflies from Basic Black card stock with the Brilliant Wings dies and added them on the matching butterflies. I stamped the sentiment from the Many Messages set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Pool Party cards tock and punched out with the Double Oval punch. I used same punch for the Basic Black scallop oval. I finished off with some black matte dots.
Hope you have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

FabFri210 A Better Place

I wanted to use this Beautiful World bundle again before it retires in May 2021. I will probably still keep it and use since I love the sentiments like the one I used here and the globes, too! The colors for the fabfridaystampinchallenge.blogspot.com were easy to use with this bundle. I started with the Misty Moonlight base and added a piece of pear Pizzazz and then a piece of Peony Garden DSP in Smoky Slate pattern. I added a Misty Moonlight rectangle which I heat embossed with white emboss powder. I stamped the globe in Misty Moonlight and added a little Pear ink with a sponge dauber. I cut it out along with the brass foil stand with the World Map dies.
Thanks for stopping by!

FF0080 Bright Butterfly

For the challenge over at festivefridaychallenge.com I used butterfly, bright colors and patterned paper. I cut the butterfly from a sheet of Butterfly Bijou DSP with the Brilliant Wings dies and added it to a Stitched So Sweetly white label. I added a few mint pearls from a kit to each end. I layered this on a piece of the Butterfly Bijou with pretty bright butterflies and then a piece of So Saffron card stock and a Mint Macaron base. I left it with out sentiment so I could use for any occasion.

Hope you have a wonderful Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Butterfly In The Hydrangeas

I needed to place this lovely butterfly I cut out from the Butterfly Bijou DSP with the Brilliant Wings dies on a card and decided the Hydrangea Hill DSP would be perfect...especially since I love yellow and purple together. I layered a piece of the DSP on a Highland Heather base then popped the butterfly on the side. I stamped the sentiment from the set Hydrangea Haven in Gorgeous Grape ink on a white label cut from the Hydrangea dies. I then added it on the white Stitched Rectangle die. I finished off with some retired glitter dots in Gorgeous Grape.
Hope you have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!

GDP284 Adventure Awaits Grad Card

A friend asked me to make her a grad card for someone and I thought of the Beautiful World bundle and matching DSP right away. Then I looked at the global-design-project.com this week and saw Krista had used this same World Of Good suite so I am playing along with their challenge this week. I needed to use colors for the school I was making the card for so went with black, brass, and Cinnamon Cider. I got inspiration from my friend and fellow demo, Rick Adkins over at rickadkins.com   You can see his card here.

I used a Basic Black base and layered a piece of Whisper White and then a piece of Black embossed with the Old World Paper embossing folder. I ten cut a piece of Cinnamon Cider and added it under a piece of the World Of Good DSP which already has brass embossed on it. I stamped the globe on white card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black and sponging a little Cinnamon Cider ink on before cutting with the World Map dies. I cut the brass foil stand with the same die set. I then stamped the sentiment on a scrap of Cinnamon cider and punched it out with the Lovely Labels pick a punch. I added two matte black dots on the ends of the label. Inside, I used a retired grad set called Pure Gumption for the sentiment and added the black stand and brass globe cut from the dies.

Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!

Pretty Perennials Split Design

I am so happy to be a guest on the Paper Adventures Team Blog Hop today and this split design was so fun to make! Take a look at my cards:

I made two cards with the split design with the Pretty Perennials bundle and some of my fav colors. I try to mirror them with the floral layout but I change the sentiments slightly so I would have a birthday and a kind of congrats card. I started with a Gorgeous Grape base and then layered a piece of Whisper White on top. I stamped my sentiments in Grape and Mango Melody inks. I then blended some Purple Posy ink on the top where I would place my flowers. It does not show up well in the photos since is a light color. I then stamped different flowers from Pretty Perennials set in Mango Melody with Early Espresso centers, Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather plus leaves in Granny Apple Green. I cut these along with tops in Purple Posy and leaves in Granny Apple Green card stock with the matching dies called Perennials Petals dies. I finished off the center of the flowers with pastel pearls in Highland Heather.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Hello Beautiful Butterfly

My first play with the new Butterfly Brilliance collection. This bundle will be in the new annual catalog in May 2021 but the Butterfly Bijou designer paper is limited time this month. I love that the Brilliant Wings dies cut out the butterfly you see here along with others from the paper. So the only stamping I did was the sentiment in Highland Heather ink on a stitched white circle from the Butterfly Gala set.  I layered all on a Bermuda Bay base and a piece of Highland Heather along with a really print from the Butterfly Bijou DSP. I did add a Heather pearl on the head of the butterfly.
Hope you have a beautiful Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

Hopping By For The Pals Blog Hop

Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team’s theme is “Cute Critters” – showcasing their card/project with adorable animals, birds, or insects for any occasion. We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

When I saw critter, I knew I wanted to use the Kangaroo & Company bundle. This is my first time playing with the this bundle as well as the Welcoming Window bundle. I thought this scene would be so cute with the mama kanga and baby joey coming by to say hi to a friend at their window. I stamped the kangaroos in Memento Tuxedo Black on thick Whisper white card stock. I colored them with the Cinnamon Cider and Petal Pink Stampin Blends markers. I used the Kangaroo dies to cut them out. I then layered a piece of white card stock embossed with the Brick & Mortar embossing folder on a Misty Moonlight base. I stamped the window parts in Misty Moonlight and Balmy Blue and popped them on the background after cutting with the Window Flower Box dies.
I then stamped the sentiment from Kangaroo & Company in VersaMark ink on the Messages die in Moonlight card stock and heat embossed in white. I finished it off with some Cinnamon Cider dots.

More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on April 14th when our theme is “Great Family Occasions” when our Design Team creates a project for any special occasion. Don’t miss the fun! I made these card boxes for my guest to carry home their cards from class this week. I used a piece of Poppy Parade card stock 8 1/4" by 11" scored at 5 1/4" and at 7" on longest side and then scored at 1 3/4" and 6 1/2" on the short side. I then glued the box together and added some of the Berry Delightful DSP to the front cut at 3 3/4' by 4 1/2". After assembled I snipped off some cards tock at top for the angle. I cut a white stitched circle die and added the strawberry stamped from the Sweet Strawberry set in Poppy Parade and punched with the Strawberry Builder punch. The stem was punched from Garden Green card stock. I stamped the sentiment in Poppy from same set. A red rhinestone finished it off.
