Amazing Flamingo Friday

Welcome to another Flamingo Friday! So I had stamped the guy in Magenta Madness ink from the Friendly Flamingo set on white card stock and cut him out a like a week ago and then used another image and he was just sitting there waiting. I grabbed some True Love DSP in white and black polka dots then blended the same Magenta Madness ink over it and layered on a Basic Black base.
I then cut a Stitched Nested Labels in Basic Black card stock for my flamingo. I stamped the sentiment from the set set on white along with the flowers in the same ink. I punched the sentiment with the Christmas Traditions punch-retired and cut the flowers with the matching Flamingo dies. I added some matte black dots to the center to finish off.
Hope you have a fab weekend and thanks for stopping by!

May Good Things Grow

I felt like doing some blending on the True Love DSP again. I used my blending brush to add ink to this print first in Rococo Rose, then Flirty Flamingo ink and last Petal Pink at the bottom. I then stamped the sentiment from Dragonfly Garden in Memento Tuxedo Black on a white Everyday Label punch. I also stamped the dragonfly from the same set in Black on white card stock and then blending Rococo Rose ink over it before punching with the Dragonflies punch.
I added these to the background DSP plus the Blushing Bride metallic ribbon around before adding on the Basic Black base. I finished off with matte black dots.
Hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Completely Amazing

I have wanted to make a starfish or shells wreath since getting the Friends Are Like Seashells bundle.
I stamped several starfish from the set in Crumb Cake and Seaside Spray on white card stock. I then used the same color ink to blend a little bit of ink over to soften them up with my blending brush  and make them not so white in center. I arranged them on the wreath I cut in Crumb Cake card stock from the Painted Labels dies.
It does have a solid center but I wanted to cut that so did with a layering scallop circle die. Before laying down on the Seaside Spray background, I stamped some Spray ink around to look like sand and then stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight. I added to a white base and a few opal rounds finished it off.
Thanks for stopping by!
This one is out to a friend as a thank you today!

You Make Me Smile

I actually made this very quickly by cutting the flower from the Hydrangea dies with Hydrangea Hill DSP and cut the solid and then the detailed stem/leaves in Old Olive card stock. I added them to the piece of Hydrangea Hill DSP with stitching from the Stitched With Whimsy dies and then a piece of Old Olive and a white base. I stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set and cut with the Messages dies. I finished it off with some Seaside Spray pearls from the pastel pearls.
Hope you have a lovely Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

Thanks With Succulents

I stamped the succulents in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of white card stock so I could color them with my Stampin Blends markers.  I decided on a light color palette and color them with Pool Party, Purple Posy and Crumb Cake Stampin Blends. I also did a little sponging around the edge with my Crumb Cake ink. I then layered it on a piece of Hydrangea Hill DSP in Purple Posy stripe under with a piece of Pool Party card stock and a white base. I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Succulents set in Gorgeous Grape ink on white card stock and used the Double Oval punch to punch it as well as the scallop Pool Party card stock.  I finished with a linen thread bow.
Hope you have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!

FMS473 Friendly Flamingo

I love this Friendly Flamingo set and when I saw the sketch challenge over at freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com I thought of it and the matching dies. I grabbed a piece of the Oh So Ombre DSP and layered it on a white base.  I then stamped two of  the floral/leaves in Granny Apple Green and sponged a little Magenta Madness ink on the flowers. I cut them with the Flamingo dies and added them across a another piece of the Oh So Ombre cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies. I then cut the flamingo in Magenta Madness cards tock to pop in the center. I stamped the sentiment in same color on the bottom of the background. I finished it off with some opal rounds which are not showing up great in the photo.
Hope you have a awesome day!
Today is my birthday and I will be going out to dinner plus some tequila!
I am doing simulated sky diving tomorrow and looking forward to it!

Soar Confidently

This is my first play with the new set called Soar Confidently. I remembered I had a mask with clouds so I pulled it out from the Pattern Party decorative pack and laid it on the white card stock. I blended Balmy Blue ink over with my blending brush. I like adding the blue clouds on white instead of white clouds on blue...just something different. I then stamped the hot air balloons on white in Misty Moonlight and hand snipped them out. I popped them up on the background and added all to the Balmy Blue base. I then stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink on the Messages white die. I then cut Balmy Blue die from the same set and cut it in half to add behind the sentiment.

Hope you have a beautiful Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!

FabFri207 Friends Along The Way

I have been hoarding the pearlescent specialty paper and decided to use it today for the sketch challenge over at fabfridaystampinchallenge.blogspot.com I added Seaside Spray ink to the top flap of my Seashells embossing folder,  then added my pearlescent paper and ran it all through the emboss machine. I then layered it on a piece of Seaside Spray card stock after I ran the Misty Moonlight/silver twine around and tied it. I then stamped the sentiment from Friends Are Like Seashells in Blackberry Bliss ink on the Tasteful Labels die in Very Vanilla.  I added the silver foil strip behind but it hides a little here in photo.
Hope you have wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

PP527 A Love Wreath

Well, no stamping was involved here but lots of die cutting with the Wreath Builder dies for the hearts challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com  I saw my friend Brian King over at stampwithbrian.com make one this past week and it reminded me that this bundle had hearts! I started with the white base and a layer of Gorgeous Grape card stock plus the background is a striped print from Hydrangea Hill DSP. I cut two wreaths- one in Pear Pizzazz and one in Purple Posy. I then cut 4 Gorgeous Grape hearts and one white love heart. I cut the same love heart in white leaving off the letters to add on top of the Grape one.  I added some pearls in Highland Heather and a striped tricolor purple ribbon plus bow to finish off.

Treat Yourself Mini Cards And Holder For The Pals Blog Hop

Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team created “Birthday Bonanza” projects to inspire you to make for all of your family and friends. We hope you enjoy and are inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments because we all love hearing from you! At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

I decorated the 3 1/8" square acetate card box with the awesome Ice Cream Corner suite and added four 3" square cards to give a friend as a birthday gift this month.  We can always use some cute note cards to write our thank yous out after our birthday. My birthday is coming up on the 19th and I will have to have some of these too for thank you cards!
I ran some Ice Cream Corner DSP around the box for a belly band. I also ran some white twine around several times and tied a bow. I stamped the ice cream scoop from Sweet Ice Cream set in Calypso Coral ink and the cone in Crumb Cake and punched out with the Ice Cream Cone builder punch. I added sprinkles in Blackberry Bliss and the waffle on the cone in Soft Suede ink. I stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink on white card stock and cut out with the Messages die. I punched out a scallop oval from the Double Oval punch in Bermuda Bay card stock. I finished it off with some rhinestones colored with a Calypso Coral Stampin Blends marker.

Here are the four 3" square cards inside. I used Bermuda Bay, Purple Posy, Flirty Flamingo and Mint Macaron for the ice cream scoops. I cut the sentiments out with the little die in Stitched So Sweetly. These were fun to make and are so cute!

More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on March 10th when our theme will be “Cute Critters” where the design team will be sharing projects that will feature critters of all sorts to inspire you. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft room.

FF0077 Making My Day

For the challenge over at festivefridaychallenge.com I used blue, heat embossing, and sentiment
for my card today. I grabbed the sweet print from Berry Delightful DSP and layered it on white base. I then cut a white Stitched So Sweetly die and stamped the sentiment from Berry Blessings set in VersaMark ink. I heat embossed it in clear embossing powder. I then took my blending brush and blended Balmy Blue ink over it. It shows up well in person but hard for to see here in photo. I stamped some strawberries from the Sweet Strawberry set in Poppy Parade and Flirty Flamingo inks on white card stock. I stamped the leaves in Granny Apple Green ink and some small flowers in Pacific Point ink. I punched them all out with the Strawberry Builder punch. A few red rhinestones finished it off.

FMS471 Love

I am playing along with the sketch challenge today over at freshlymadesktches.blogspot.com  I had some pieces left over from cutting last week and when I saw the sketch I thought they would work great. I started with the Stitched So Sweetly white label for the center.  I had a extra cut and layered it on the piece of the True Love DSP and a Basic Black panel of card stock and a white base.
I had the sentiment from the Always dies cut in Basic Black and the background cut in white and glued together for another project but did not use so it fit perfectly here. I stamped the flowers and leaves from Forever& Always set on white card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored them with the Magenta Madness and Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends markers. (remember, I said last week how much I love black/white and hot pink together so I could not resist to color them pink!)
After they were cut with the Always dies, I popped them on the side and added the cute matte black dots to finish it off. This card went out to my dad for Valentine's Day since I thought the stripes looked a little masculine.

Have a lovely Monday and thanks for stopping by!

I am paying along with the color challenge today over at global-design-project.com  Love this color combo and I thought of my new shells set that I want to play with all the time. I grabbed the Friends Are Like Seashells set and stamped the sand dollar, starfish and the shell on Very Vanilla card stock
in Sahara Sand and Rococo Rose inks. I blended a little Blushing Bride ink over them with my blending brush but cutting them with the Seaside Shells dies. I also blended the same color on the Very Vanilla panel before stamping the sentiment in Rococo Rose ink. Before placing the images on, I stamped some splatter in Blushing Bride and the seaweed in Sahara Sand ink for more texture. I added all to the panel of Rococo Rose and the Sahara Sand base. PP526 Just Be You Flamingo

I decided to pull out my new Friendly Flamingo bundle for Laurie's tic-tac-toe challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com as I was going across the top with die-cut, animal, and scene. I have been want tong ink this set up as I love and collect flamingos. I started with the white piece of card stock and used a blending brush to blend on Seaside Spray ink. Started with lots of ink at the bottom and went very light to the top. I added this on a white base. I then stamped the water ripples at the bottom in same color. I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight from the Friendly Flamingo set.
I also stamped the flamingo in Flirty Flamingo ink as well as the flowers plus I stamped three hanging vines in Granny Apple Green. One of those I stamped off to make it lighter. I cut them out with the Flamingo dies.  This lovely water scene came together so easily.

Hope you have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

I used the Heart Punch Pack scallop heart to punch and add on my card. I layered a piece of Basic Black on my Magenta Madness base and then a pattern from the True Love DSP running some Magenta ribbon plus a bow around before attaching. I then cut the flowers/leaves from another print from the True Love DSP by hand and sponged on the Magenta and Mint Macaron ink with sponge daubers. I added some Wink of Stella to the center of the flowers for some shine. Love a hot pink with black and white!

FMS470 Always & Forever Wedding Card

The sketch challenge over at freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com came at the right time as I had to make a wedding card this week. I grabbed the Merry Merlot as that is the color of the wedding my daughter and I are attending this weekend. I also used Rococo Rose plus gold. I started with the Merlot base and added a piece of Rococo Rose then a layer of the Golden Garden acetate over the top. It is hard to capture a good photo when using foil and acetate or anything shiny really. I then stamped the sentiment from Forever Blossoms in VeraMark ink on a piece of Merry Merlot card stock and heat embossed it in gold emboss powder. I punched it with the new Double Oval punch and then cut a gold foil oval from Layering Ovals dies to go behind. I stamped the flowers and leaves on white card stock in Memento Black ink and colored them with the Rococo Rose and Old Olive Stampin Blends markers. I cut them with the matching dies called Cherry Blossoms dies.

Hope you have a lovely Monday and thanks for stopping by!
