Happy End of 2015!

We are just back from our trip to see family for a few days in Atlanta and a cabin vacay in Pigeon Forge TN.   We had quite warm weather in both states and much relaxing quality time together.

This is me, my son, Cole, my mom, my daughter, Amanda, and my brother at my brother's house on the 20th.

This me with my dad.  We meet him for brunch on the next day as we made our way up to Tn.

Here is Cole and Amanda with their Papa.

We were so surprised to see a decorated tree already lit when we walked in the cabin...made me happy to have a place to put our gifts when I wrapped them.

Here is my family after we ate way too much food at the Old Mill Restaurant in Pigeon Forge.

This is one of the days we played mini golf since it was great weather there. (and we won a free game to come back was also a motivator!)

Amanda and I at the Applewood Farm Restaurant (yes, where we ate way too much food again)!

Here is our cabin and my guys!  Three stories with a game room and a hot tub outside(no pics of that)!

Not much planned for ringing in the new year but hope yours is great and very safe!  I will be back soon with new projects/cards...can't wait to play with more new products from the spring catalog and SAB, too!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs, Windy

PPA281 Happy Christmas Eve!

I am not an intricate stamper but wanted to try the paper piecing with the rose die.
I cut out a rose with the new Rose Garden thinlits dies in Blushing Bride card stock
then I cut again with the Perfectly Artistic DSP
and pieced the rose together.
I glued the first rose on the card stock circle
and then glued each piece of the DSP in the spots to fill in.
I stamped the leaves and hand cut them. The DSP is from the SAB catalog
and the stamp set and dies are from the  new Occasions catalog- both begin Jan. 5th, 2016!
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas eve and a Merry Christmas tomorrow!
Thanks for stopping by!

FMS217 The Sky Is The Limit!

I designed a very quick card again stamping the plane
and hand snipping it out...very easy!
I stamped off with the Basic Gray ink to make it look a little more vintage.
I stamped the background with this swirl like stamp from
the new set called Timeless Textures in the 2016 Occasions catalog.
I have been wanting to use with
the Sky Is The Limit set because it looked
 like sky writing to me!

PPA275 Happy Birthday Rose!

First a Happy Birthday shout out to my friend and fellow Pal, Brian King!  I am sure he is 29 and holding today!

It takes a little time to hand cut but so worth it!
I can't stop playing with this set and the dies!
I stamped the rose in Cherry Cobbler on the same color card stock and did the same
with the leaves but in Mossy Meadow.
Hand cut and assembled on a honeycomb embossed
piece of Very Vanilla.
I also used a stamp with a matching die for the sentiment.
Hope you can play along with the color challenge

More Christmas Tags!

Making some more tags for my own gifts today!  I am using up my Merry Moments DSP stack and I decided to use the Festival of Trees because they are easy and fast to punch!  I have purple and silver tags that I use each year (our tree at home is purple and silver and I just have to match) but this year we are going away and I will wrap gifts at our Christmas cabin.  I bought three rolls of paper that do not match anything and it will be fun for something different.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

PPA279 A Noel Star

I started with the foil star which is a sticker from my
To You & Yours Shaker card kit  from a few weeks ago.
From my star framelits dies, I cut out a Cherry star to layer and went from there
with the Noel from the Wonderful Wreath thinlits dies to top it off.
After I layered the paper, I realized I did not stamping
so added the sentiment from the Holly Jolly Greetings set!

Candy Cane Box

A cute Real Red box I made when my friend and fellow Pal, Paula Butler, was in town last month.  Forgot the site we saw them, but when open it is a little box attached inside to hold treast or even a small gift.  We loved the Holiday Fancy Foil on the box in Real Red stripes and added an ornament from the Delicate Ornaments thinlits dies cut out in Real Red foil!
Fun project...have a wonder Monday!

Happy Holidays Card Front

This is the finally card front I designed for swaps for the Tampa event a few weeks ago.  I started with the Season of Cheer DSP and added it to a piece of Night Of navy embossed with the Softly Falling emboss folder.  I added some snowflakes and then it just needed some bling so I grabbed a strip of silver glimmer paper!
Have a wonderful Sunday!
