The challenge was deciding on a few of my favorite things since there are soooo many when it comes to Stampin' Up! I finally decided to list some of my fav things and this is what popped! One of my favorite things about SU! is their colors and all the coordinating products with those colors. My fav color is purple and Fresh Freesia is my fav purple at the moment. Now this can change any time as I love several more shades of purple. But as the name suggest- Fresh Freesia is fresh and on trend.
I have here a Fresh Freesia base and used same color card stock to cut my trees from the Christmas Trees dies. I also used this color ink to blend on the Scalloped Contours die. The blending brush I used for blending my background are definately one of my fav new products this year. I also love dies and grab these Scalloped Contours dies all the time. Another favorite thing SU! makes is embossing folders and I have been using this one called Evergreen Forest a lot in the last year. I ran a piece of white card stock through the emboss folder for texture.
I added the Wonderful Snowflake cut out behind my trees. One of my favorite techniques is the heat emboss and so I grabbed some VeraMark ink and stamped the sentiment from the Banner Year stamp set on Fresh Freesia card stock in white emboss powder. I hand snipped it out to pop up on my card. Finally, I just love rhinestones and even better, when they are colored rhinestones. I added some Fresh Freesia rhinestones to finish it off.
So to re-cap just a few of my favorite things: purple (SU! colors), blending brushes, dies, embossing folders, heat embossing, and rhinestones!
