Merry & Bright

I really like the Brightest Glow bundle plus the Lights Aglow DSP together. I need to make more cards with them. I started with the Evening Evergreen base and asdded a strip of Lights Aglow DSP with some gold ribbon tied around to the left. I then cut a white square and used the Labels Aglow die to cut the round detailed design and added another square of gold foil behind. I stamped the the sentiment from the Brightest Glow set in VersaMark ink on white card stock and heat embossed in gold embossing powder and cut with the same dies to pop up.
Super simple card but the gold makes it looks to elegant.
Hope you have a beautiful Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Merry Scottie

Just a simple Z fold card I made playing around with the Chrsitmas Scottie bundle. I stamped the plaid stamp from the the Christmas Scottie set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Cherry Cobbler cards stock and punched the dog out with the Scottie Dog punch. I also punched out the Granny Apple Green bow and added a pearl. I popped him on a white square plus a black square both cut with the Stylish Shapes dies. I used Cherry Cobbler for my base and a piece of Granny Apple Green ran through the Wintry embossing folder for the outside panel. I finished by stamping the sentiement on the white panel inside with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Hope you have a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Christmas Spruced Up

Sometimes I make a card as I am designing for card classes and it is a hit and sometimes it is not. I designed this card but did not love it and so re-worked it and you will see soon my card for November card classes. Yes, I love to use purple for Christmas cards! Here I did a gate fold with my Gorgeous Grape card stock. I added two panels on the outside in white card stock ran through with the Wintry embossing folder with the snowflakes. I then blended some Fresh Freesia ink over with my blending brush. I cut the Scalloped Contour panel from white card stock to pop up my images. I stamped the sentiments in Granny Apple Green ink  on white card stock and cut them out with the Stylish Shapes dies in banners. I then stamped the large ornament from the Spruced Up set in Gorgeous Grape ink on white card stock and cut it out with matching dies called Spruced Up Outlines dies. When you cut you get the outline which here I used as my second ornament. I then stamped on on white the snowflake from the same set in Fresh Freesia ink and cut with the same dies. I also cut from those dies a topper in silver foil and the string in Granny Apple Green card stock. I finished it off with some rhinestones for bling.
Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by!

I cut a white detailed label from the Holly Berry dies and then hand snipped out the poinsettias and leaves from the designer paper. I stamped the sentiment from the Leaves Of Holly set in VersaMark ink on a piece of Shaded Spruce card stock and heat embossed it in white embossing powder with my heat tool. A Sweet Christmas

This is my first card with the Sweet Gingerbread bundle. I was trying to design for both card class in November and a swap card I needed. I decided to go another route but really liked how this turned out to look like a snow globe. I have a white base and added another piece of white card stock then I blended some Coastal Cabana ink on with my blending brush and leaving some area at bottom to look like snow. I stamped the house on white card stock in Crumb Cake ink, the roof in Soft Suede ink along with the decor on the house. I stamped the door in Sweet Sorbet ink and the window in Coastal Cabana ink. The roof was actaully now stamped on the house but separately and cut with the Gingerbread House dies. I also did same with the candy on either side of the house stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink. I added a 3" circle punched out of vellum paper behind to pop all on. I stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sorbet ink on white card stock and cut it out with the banner from the Stylish Shapes dies.
Hope ou have a sweet Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

An Acorn Wreath

I made this fun fold card for a color challenge with my stamping group. We used Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze and Pear Pizzazz. I cut the base in Crumb Cake card stock at 4 1/4" by 11. I scored at 5 1/2" and again on one side at 2 3/4" to make the Z fold card. I added a piece of white card stock in side. I cut a strip of Pear Pizzazz card stock for the strip outside and stamped it with the leaf stamp from the Cottage Wreath set in the same color ink. I then cut a piece of white card stock with the square stitched die from the Stylish Shapes dies and then cut a square of Cajun Craze card stock for behind. I stamped the sticky wreath in Crumb Cake ink on the white square and then the leafy one in Pear Pizzazz. I stamped the acorns in Cajun Craze ink on a piece of white cards tock and cut them out with the Coutry Wreaths dies. I also cut the copper foil bow with the dies. I stamped berries in Cajun Craze around the wreath, too.
Hope you have a lovely Monday and thanks for stopping by!

PP613 Christmas Greetings

Today I am showing my fourth card for classes this month using the Trees for Sale set and the Tree Lot dies. LeAnne's theme challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com this week was perfect timing for my camper.
I started with a Shaded Spruce base and added a piece of Real Red card stock and a piece of white card stock for the background. I stamped my sentiment at the top in Real Red ink from the Trees For Sale set. I then stamped the trees in a two-step and they looks so 3D. I used for the first step Granny Apple Green and for the second detailed step in Shaded Spruce ink. I stamped the lights and the sign in Early Espresso ink on white card stock and cut them out with the Tree Lot dies. I colored the light bulbs with a Crushed Curry marker. For the camper, I cut the main frame in galvanized metallic paper and then the detail in silver foil. I cut a small strip of Crushed Curry card stock to go along the backside to look like lights on inside. I cut the wreath in Shaded Spruce and the Real Red bow. I think it looks so cute!
Hope you have a sweet Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Thinking Of The Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the theme is a Color Challenge. Using Crumb Cake, Mango Melody, Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow, the Design Team has created some great projects that you will all want to see. We hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

I tried to stay light with the color combo this week for the Pals Blog Hop using the Cup Of Tea bundle along with the Fern 3D embossing folder. I started with a Crumb Cake base and then ran the white card stock background through the Fern 3D embossing folder. I took my blending brush and blended Mossy Meadow ink over it lightly. I then cut a white Deckled Rectangle and sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Season Of Chic set in Cajun Craze ink on the bottom. I attached it to the embossed background after swirling some linen thread between. I stamped the cup from the Cup Of Tea set in Cajun ink on white card stock and the stems in Mossy Meadow ink plus several flowers in Mango Melody. I cut them out with the matching Teacup dies. I finished up with some copper dots. I was going for a shabby chic card and I think it rocked it!

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on November 9th when the theme will be Home for the Holidays.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Merry Scottie Christmas

I was playing around with the Christmas Scottie bundle plus the Country Wreaths dies for today's card. I decided to just punch the scottie dog out with the Scottie Dog punch in Basic Black card stock plus a Real Red bow. I stamped the plaid stamp from the Christmas Scottie set on the white background card stock in Real red ink twice and then stamped the sentiment in one corner and the snowflakes in the other in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I cut a few of the wreaths from the Country Wreaths dies in Old Olive and Garden Green card stocks to pop behind the scottie dog. After layering on a Real red base, I finished off with several red rhinestones on the snowflakes and the red bow.

Sunny Season's Greetings

I have been so heartbroken over the devastation from Hurricane Ian to my beloved Sanibel Island here in Florida that I decided to make a card as I was thinking of them this past Saturday for World Card Making Day 2022.
I vacation there every year and we think of the island like our second home. I love the beach and I love making beachy cards.
I pulled out my Sunkissed set and stamped the palm image on a piece of Basic White card stock in Early Espresso ink. I then stamped the seagull and some shell at the bottom. I took my blending brushes and added ink in Mango Melody, Coastal Cabana and Sahara Sand.
I colored the bird a little with my light Smoky Slate Stampin Blend marker. I added all to a piece of Sahara Sand card stock ran through with the Coastal Weave embossing folder. I then added all to a Sahara Sand base. I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink on a piece of white card stock and cut it out with the oval from All That dies.
Hope you have a restful Thursday and thanks for stopping by!

I then added it to the piece of Cajun Craze card stock ran though the Tasteful Textile embossing folder plus the Vajun Craze base. I then stamped the sentiment from Hello Harvest set in VersaMark ink on a piece of Early Espresso card stock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I cut it out with the Stylish Shapes dies. I finished it off with some white dots.
