I did not get any good photos before I gave this as a gift to a friend. So sorry! I used the free SAB Penguin Playmates DSP and the awesome tutorial by my friend and fellow demo Julie DiMatteo over at thepaperpixie.com You can see it here. I used the paper to also cut out the little critter- a fox with a scarf! I added the Flowers For Every Season white ribbon tied in a bow plus a rhinestone for bling to finish it off.
Hope you have a wonderful week!

I will be traveling tomorrow for over a week so see you back later next week!

This Saturday is World Card Making Day! Happy Stamping!

FF0093 Best Wishes With Artistically Inked

I made this card for the challenge over at festivefridaychallenge picking shiny, stripes and of course, purple! I stared by stamping the floral images as well as the leaves in Blackberry Bliss, Fresh Freesia, Just Jade and Pear Pizzazz from the Artistically Inked set.  I then cut them out with the Artistic dies along with a few of the white leaf stems. I arranged them all on the piece of shiny, striped DSP called Expressions In Ink and a white base. I added in some gold leaves from the Expressions In Ink ephemera pack. I stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink on a white banner cut from the Tasteful Labels dies.
Love how it turned out and will be on its way to my step mom for her birthday in October!
Thanks for stopping by!

I stamped the sentiment from the Banner Year set in Merry Merlot ink on a white Potted Succulent banner die. I finished it off with a gold bumblebee!

You see get the box info here from my friend Sam Hammond Donald over at pootles.co.uk  I cut the tree in retired Chocolate Chip card stock from the Beautiful Trees dies and then the leaves from the Beauty Of Earth DSP with same dies. I added the white birds also cut from the same dies. I cut another of Marina Mist for the front panel and ran it through the Bark 3D embossing folder.

Happy Birthday With Jar Of Flowers

I just love the black and white gingham paper and if you are wondering where to find it....I will tell you! It is part of a large pack of paper you can get free as a host with SU!. It is called Pattern Party DSP pack and it contains 48 sheets full of many different patterns and colors. I am using a strip here on my card layered on a white base and a piece of Basic Black card stock. I then cut the Stitched Rectangle die in white card stock and stamped my flowers from Jar Of Flowers right on it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I tried to use the sunflowers but they just did not well with my black and white theme. I colored the flowers with my Stampin Blends markers in Poppy Parade, Old Olive, and Daffodil Delight. I stamped the jar and the stem on a piece of white card stock in Memento Black and then the water stamp in pool Party ink. I punched it out with the Jar punch and colored my stems with Stampin Blend in Old Olive. I wrapped some of the black & white 1/4" gingham ribbon around the jar and added a bow. I popped it up under the flowers. I stamped the sentiment from Oval Occasions set in Poppy Parade ink on a white die cut from the Messages dies. I finished it off with a few Real Red rhinestones.

Hope you have a happy Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

Love Of Leaves For Thanksgiving

I did a little casing from Patricia Dominicci over at jumpingintostamping.com   You can see her card here. I like her layout for these leaves and the embossing on the top of the background. I used the Beauty Of Earth DSP for the strip at the bottom and pulled my colors from it. I stamped the leaves from Love of Leaves set in Merry Merlot, Bumblebee, and Mossy Meadow and then cut them out with the Stitched Leaves dies. I used a Merry Merlot base and add a piece of Bumblebee. I cut a piece of Basic White and used the emboss/cut die in the Stitched Leaves dies for the top. I added the strip of Beauty Of Earth to the bottom. The sentiment was stamped from Banner Year set in Merry Merlot ink before attaching the white card stock. I ran the Bumblebee 1/4" gingham ribbon around and added the bow to finish it off.
Hope you have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

Thankful For Pretty Pumpkins

I did a little casing of a card from fellow demo Angela Meyer over at wildvioletsart.com for the water color card today. You can see her card here. I thought these were so soft and pretty in these shades of Soft Succulent, Petal Pink, Gray Granite.  I used the white base and added Petal Pink card stock and then a piece of Soft Succulent ran through the Tasteful Textile embossing folder. I then cut a white Stitched So Softly die to pop up after stamping the sentiment from the Pretty Pumpkin set. I stamped the pumpkins and the extra leaves in Stazon Black ink on water color paper and then used my water painter brush to color the pumpkins and leaves. I used the matching Detailed Pumpkins dies to cut them out and pop up on the rectangle die. I finished off with genial gems in Pale Papaya.

Hope you have a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Hello Friend In Welcoming Woods

I did some more of the baby wipe technique for this card with the leaves and the sentiment. I started with a Crumb Cake base and added a piece of Early Espresso ran through the Bark 3D folder. I then cut  piece of white card stock and stamped the trees from Welcoming Woods set in Early Espresso ink. I then used my blending brush to do a circle of Pumpkin Pie ink blended in the middle of the trees. I then used another blending brush with Misty Moonlight ink to blend on the bottom. I made my own ink pad with the baby wipes by adding drops of Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive inks. I used it to stamp my leaves several times over my leaves and then for my sentiment from the same set on a Crumb Cake banner Tasteful Labels die. I wrapped some Night of Navy twine around and added a bow to finish off.
I love how it looks like a fall day in the woods!

PP557 & FF092 Happy 75th Birthday!

I immediately thought of my mom who has a big birthday coming up in October! The big 75 and it worked perfect for the number challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com this week and I used some elements from the pick challenge over at festivefridaychallenge.com   I picked white, pearls, die cuts, and leaves. I really wanted some bling and there were several sheets of the retired Blushing Bride glimmer paper (at least I think it is Blushing Bride). I decided to pair it with Blushing Bride and Merry Merlot card stock and a white base. I ran the piece of Blushing bride card stock through the Pretty Flowers embossing folder. I cut a white Encircled In beauty large die and popped it on the background. I cut the glitter paper with the retired  Large Numbers dies and the Artistic dies. I cut apart the leaves and did not punch out the detail on the leaves. I liked them solid. I also cut some white small leaves from the Nature's Thoughts dies to add. I stamped the 'th' and the sentiments on white card stock from the retired Number of Years set in Merry Merlot ink. I cut them with the Floral Gallery scallop label dies. I finished it off with some pastel pearls.

Hope you have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

Cocktails For The Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “Sentiment as a focal point.” We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Nothing's Better Than set was calling to me for the challenge this month. It has great sentiments and words I love like cookies, chocolate and cocktails you can stamp or cut out with the Love You More dies! I felt like something bright so picked the Polished Pink color and than had to make a few cocktails. I challenged myself with embossing clear emboss powder on white card stock! You can't see it but I did ok lining it up the word cocktails in VersaMark ink and heating them. I then blended Polished Pink ink over to make the words to make them pop. I added it to a piece of Basic Black card stock and a Polished Pink base.
I then stamped the two cocktail glasses in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and added two step Polished Pink, Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green ink. I cut them out with the matching dies plus the word Cocktails in Basic Black card stock. I cut one of my cocktail glasses in half and tucked it in behind the first. I placed a strip of Polished Pink card stock on the bottom with a thin strip of Basic Black before adding my images and words. After adding my images and word, I added some black matte dots and then stamped the Kind Of Day on white card stock in Polished Pink ink which got hand snipped out.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on October 13th. Our theme will be Fantastic Fun Folds and 3D Projects when participants showcase fun fold cards or 3D items that will be great for any occasion. Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Hello Love Of Leaves

I wanted to use more of the Beautifully Penned DSP I got for free with the SAB promo going on right now through the end of this month. I blended both Bumblebee and Cajun Craze ink with my blending brush over the black and white stripes of the paper. I added it to a piece of Basic Black card stock and a Bumblebee base.  I then cut the two circles from Layering Circles dies in white and black card stock. I stamped my leaf from the Love Of Leaves set in Bumblebee ink and sponged a little Cajun Craze ink on it before stamping on white card stock and cutting with the Stitched Leaves dies. I popped it on my circles and then added a Bumblebee dot. I stamped the hello sentiment from the same set in Cajun Craze ink and cut with the Messages dies. It is so tiny! I also had a double linen thread bow left over from another project and I sponged a little Cajun Craze ink on it and added to my leaf to finish it off.

Hope you have a lovely Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

GDP307 Thank You For Friendship

I was thinking I need to grab some sets that I have barely touched since the annual catalog came out in May 2021. This set was perfect for the challenge this week over at global-design-project.com as it has two thankful sentiments. I used the this one stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink from the Flowers Of Friendship set on the white Scallop Contour die. I also cut a a Fresh Freesia one with the more detailed scallops from the same set and added all on the Grape base. I stamped the leaves/stems in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored the leaves in light Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends marker. I then stamped the flowers on another piece of white card stock in Black and punched them out with the Flowers & Leaves punch after I colored with both  Fresh Freesia and Highland Heather Stampin Blends markers. I popped them on and added some pastel pearls to the center.

Much Gratitude For Gorgeous Leaves

While I had my baby wipe pad inked up I made another leaf card. As I said in yesterday's post, I made a stamp pad from some baby wipes and dropped Old Olive, Crushed Curry and Rich Razzleberry inks on and stamped the large leaf in and stamped on white card stock three times from the Gorgeous Leaves set. I cut them out with the matching dies called Intricate Leaves dies. I also used same to cut the detailed Rich Razzleberry leaves I layered them on. I then used the larger splatter stamp from the set in Old Olive ink on the white background. I stamped the sentiment in Razzleberry ink from the Heartfelt Wishes set on the bottom. I then layered on a piece of Razzleberry card stock and a white base.
I finished off with some genial gems in Pale Papaya.
