Happy Easter Bunny

 

I made this Easter card for my dad using the pretty Soft Sea Foam for a base and an additional layer. I then cut out a white Scalloped Contours die to blend some So Saffron ink on with my blending brush. I stamped some grass in soft Sea Foam ink, the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black as well as the butterfly and bird all from the Easter Bunny stamp set. I then stamped the bunny and carrot on another piece of white card stock in Memento and colored with my Stampin blends markers in Ivory, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and Granny Apple Green. I hand snipped them out to pop on my scene. I blended the bird in dark Balmy Blue and the butterfly in dark Daffodil Delight. I wrapped the linen thread around with a bow before the attaching.

I used a Orchid Oasis base and piece of card stock I ran through the Cane Weave embossing folder for another project I used for today's card with the True Beauty bundle. I tied some Parakeet Party twine around before adding the other elements. I cut a white Scalloped Contours die and popped on the flowers stamped in Fresh Freesia and Orchid Oasis inks plus the stem in Parakeet Party ink. I stamped the sentiment in Oasis ink from the Cottage Rose stamp set. I finished up with a few Oasis dots.

Bunny Boxes

 

 I put together these boxes for my guests in classes this week to carry their cards home and decorated them with some lovely Dandy Designs DSP and the Easter Bunny bundle. I used a piece of Fresh Freesia card stock 8.25" by 11" then scored at 5.25" and 7" on long side and then scored at 1.75" and 6.5" on short side. I put together then added the DSP cut at 3.75" by 4.5". I had the Petal Pink oval left over from a project a few months ago for classes cut from the Framed Florets dies. I stamped the bunny on white card stock in Soft Suede ink. I punched it out with the Easter Bunny punch and added some Petal Pink to the ear and cheek with my Stampin Blends markers. I then stamped the flowers on white card stock with Soft Suede ink and colored them with Stampin Blends markers in Petal Pink, Fresh Freesia, Daffodil Delight and Parakeet Party. I hand snipped it out then finished it off with some clear glossy dots.

Happy Mother's Day

 

Here is my Mother's Day card for classes in March using the lovely Awash In Beauty suite. I started with the Polished Pink base and a layer of Merry Merlot card stock. I added a piece of Awash In Beauty DSP for the background. I did run a piece of Polished Pink open weave ribbon and a tie to the side. I cut a Scalloped Contours die in white and stamped the sentiment from the Celebrating You stamp set in Merry Merlot ink. I stamped the flower in Polished Pink ink dabbing some Merry Merlot ink on with a sponge dauber and the stem in Granny Apple Green ink with the True Beauty stamp set and cut them out with the Organic Beauty dies to pop on the die. I finished it off with the Polished Pink gems.

Hello Blooms

 

Love this new suite of products from the online exclusives called Hello, Irresistible.  I am using this for one of my March cards for classes. I started with a Flirty Flamingo base but 1 1/4" cut off the top panel to see underneath. I added inside the Basic White piece of card stock with a strip of Hello Irresistible DSP and stamped the sentiment in Flirty Flamingo ink and punched it out with the Double Oval punch. For the front,  I added a piece of Petal Pink card stock and a white piece cut with the detailed die from Irresistible Blooms dies. I stamped the two flowers in Flirty Flamingo ink on Petal Pink card stock then cut them out along with some Mint Macaron leaves. I finsihed off with some loose frosted dots for the flower centers in yellow.

I made this card a few weeks ago but instead of Night Of Navy, I used Starry Sky ink and card stock this time for my March card classes. I have a white base and a piece of Starry Sky ran through with the Basic 3D embossing folder. I cut a white Deckled Rectangled die and stamped the water in Starry Sky and Tahitian Tide inks with the On The Ocean set. I punched a 1 3/4" circle and placed it on the background before blending some Tahitian Tide ink lightly with my blending brush. I stamped the birds in Starry Sky ink after that. I stamped the ship on another piece of white card stock and cut it with the matching dies. I then stamped the sentiment in same ink on a Styligh Shapes banner.

Nested Bird

 

I wanted this second card for classes this month to be light and feel springy. I used the lovely Soft Sea Foam card stock for the base and the background piece ran through with the Fall Leaf 3D embossing folder. I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink from the Nested Friends set. I the stamped the bird and nest on a piece of white card stock in the same ink. I colored them with light Crumb Cake, light Granny Apple Green and light Petal Pink. I cut them out with the matching dies. I cut the eggs in Soft Sea Foam card stock with the Nested Friends dies and added a little bit of speckled to them with the stamp from the set and Sahara Sand ink. I finished it off with a linen thread bow.

PP632 Happy Easter Bunny

 

Here is my Easter card for classes this month. I used the Easter Bunny bundle and some lovely Dandy Design DSP from the SAB this past Jan-Feb. I am also playing along with Ann's clean and simple spring theme challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com  

I added the DSP to a Fresh Freesia base after running a little Fresh Freesia open weave ribbon. I then cut a white Scalloped Contours die and blended a some Balmy Blue ink with my blending brush. I stamped the grass in Mint Macaron ink and the sentiment plus butterfly and eggs in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Stampin Blends markers in Fresh Freesia, Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaron, and Balmy Blue. I colored the bunny with the blends after stamping it in Memento on a piece of white card stock. I used Smoky Slate and Petal Pink on the bunny and then punched it out with the Easter Bunny punch. I also colored the grass a little with a Mint Macaron blend.

Rare And Precious

Using the same layout and paper my last card, I have another masculine card for you today. 

I have a Night of Navy base and a layer of Crumb Cake card stock with a piece of Pool Party card stock ran through the Painted Textures embossing folder. The By The Bay strip of DSP is added to the side.  I have a Crumb Cake square cut from the Layering Squares dies-retired and a white one cut from the Stylish Shapes dies. I blended some Pool Party Ink on the white square with my blending brush. I stamped the shell on with Night of Navy Ink from the Seaside Bay set. I also stamped the sentiment in the same color. I then added some Pool Party and Petal Pink inks with my stampin blends markers to the shell. I stamped the pearl on a piece of white card stock in Night of Navy ink and cut it out with the Seaside Bay dies. The sentiment looks light in the photo but it is not in person.

Another card with the By The Bay DSP added today for a masculine card. I added the strip of paper to a Pool Party piece of card stock ran through with the Painted Textures embossing folder. I layered those on a piece of Crumb Cake card stock and a Night Of Navy base. I had the scalloped square already cut from the Layering Squares dies-retired and the stitched white square from the Stylish Shapes dies. I blended some Pool Party ink on the top and stamped the rocks from the Lighthouse Point set in Crumb Cake ink. I stamped the bird in Crumb Cake ink on a piece of white card stock and cut it out with the Waves dies. I did color the bird a little with my Pool Party stampin blend marker.  I stamped the sentiment from the Waves of Inspiration set in Night Of Navy Ink.

PP631 A Cup Of Tea

 

Love LeAnn'e's bright color challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com   I used a Tea Boutique cards & more card for my base in Tahitian Tide. I then added a white oval frame from the Framed florets dies to the center. I stamped the tea cup from Cup Of Tea stamp set on white card stock in Daffodil Delght ink and the leaves in Granny Apple Green ink and cut them out with the matching Teacup dies. I also cut a white tag and stamped it in Tahitian Tide ink with the sentiment and added it with a little Tahitain Tide twine. I cut out some mini hearts to pop on in Daffodil Delight card stock. I also cut a lime slice in Granny Apple Green card stock. I finished it off with some Daffodil Delight dots from the Glossy dots assortment.

On The Ocean

 

Today's On The Ocean card is using several dies from the On The Ocean dies set. I have a Soft Suede base and a white background which has Balmy Blue ink blended on it with my blending brush. I stamped the birds in Soft Suede on the background. I then cut from the dies waves in Tahitian Tide card stock and vellum. The vellum looks like a light blue card stock when layered on the other waves. I also cut the ship in Soft Suede plus sails in White card stock. Finally, I stamped the clud in Balmy Blue ink and cut it with the matching die.

You Are A Treasure

I have a few more On The Ocean cards for you-one today and one tomorrow. I have a white base and a piece of Night Of Navy card stock ran through with a Basic 3D embossing folder. I then cut a white Deckled Rectangle out and blended some Balmy Blue one after placing a 1 1/4" circle punched out on top to leave a white space for a moon. I then stamped the waves in Balmy and Night Of Navy inks and the birds in Navy ink to the background. I stamped the ship in Navy ink on a piece of white card stock and cut it with the matching die. I used a small white banner die in my stash for the sentiment stamped in Navy ink.

Playing around with the Lighting The Way bundle again since I had a lantern already cut from brushed metallic paper. I used a Starry Sky base and cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock with the Deckled Rectangle dies plus a smaller white one. I used my blending brushes to add Starry Sky, Mango Melody, and Crumb Cake inks on for a night sky. I stamped the bulb in Mango Melody from the set as well as the grass in Crumb Cake ink and the bugs in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I also stamped the sentiment across to finish it off in Memento Black ink.

Cole's Birthday Pirate Ship

 

My amazing son Cole is 25 today! I used the On The Ocean bundle the first time today to make his Birthday pirate ship. I tried to make it look a bit like the Tampa Bay Bucs colors. His fav color is red so made the sails red! I did layer a piece of Real Red card stock on a white base and some By The Bay DSP for the background.  I cut a white Deckled Rectangle and stamped some ocean in Night Of Navy ink plus the flock of birds. I then cut out the ship in Soft Suede, Real Red and a skull/crossbones in white card stock. Inside, I stamped Happy Birthday and the You Are My Treasure in Night Of Navy and Real Red inks.

A Simple Lighthouse

 

A friend asked me to make some masculine cards with no sentiment for her to send so I grabbed my Lighthouse Point bundle with the By The Bay DSP for a background. I layered the paper on a white base and cut a white Deckled Rectangle out. I blended some Pool Party ink on the top with my blending brush. I stamped the rocks on the bottom in Crumb Cake ink. I stamped some birds from the Waves Of Inspiration set in Night Of Navy ink. For the lighthouse, I stamped the base on white card stock in Gray Granite ink and strips in Night Of Navy ink. I cut the lighthouse out with the mayching dies called Lighthouse dies.

My party time card today for the hop uses the Share A Milkshake bundle from the spring mini catty. I designed this card with a little fun fold for extra celebrating! I have a Mint Macaron base and I cut 2 3/4" of the top of the card off. I then added some Country Gingham DSp to the top half on the outside and then another print of the same designer paper inside. I cut a white Scalloped Contours rectangle for the front plus a Stitched Rectangle die in the same color ran through with the new Basics 3D embossing folder to layer inside the scalloped one. I love the texture! I then cut out the cone in Crumb Cake card stock and sponged on some Crumb Cake ink. I stamped the three scoops in Mint Macaron, Fresh Freesia and Soft Suede inks. I cut them out with the matching dies along with some Mint Macaron hearts I used on the scoops and inside on a piece of white cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies. I stamped the sentiment inside in Mint ink. I stamped the celebrate in Fresh Freesia ink on a Stylish Shapes banner in white. I finished off with some Fresh Freesia gems.

I am playing along with Joanne's theme challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com with the Easter Bunny bundle as well as along with the case the designer challenge over at global-design-project.com  For the case, I loved the layout and flowers so used that as my inspiration. 

I love this bundle and I collect bunnies (not real ones)!  I had the Orchid Oasis base and layer ran through with the Cane Weave embossing folder from my class last week. I used it to add the oval in Petal Pink card stock and the white frame from Framed Floerts dies. I stamped the images from the Easter Bunny set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on whute card stock and hand snipped them out after coloring with my Stampin Blends markers. I used SU900 plus Petal Pink on the bunny. I used on the flowers, butterfly and eggs Orchid Oasis, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Flirty Flamingo, Parakeet Party and Fresh Freesia. I stamped the sentinent on a Stylish Shapes banner die in white with Orchid Oasis ink. I finished it off with a few Orchid Oasis matte dots.

I made a square card for the pick challenge over at festivefridaychallenge.com using clover, green, gold, and luck. I cut the white base 4" square and added some retired DSP from the hoilday catty in a green print. I punched the essential tag in white and stamped the sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings-retired in Shaded Spruce ink. I punched a gold foil circle with the 1 3/4" circle punch. I added a clover stamped from the Lucky Clover set in Shaded Spruce ink with a little gold trim bow to finish it off.

Hello Seaside Bay

 

I am back with more By The Bay suite for a manly card today. I used a beautiful piece of the By The Bay suite for my background and layered a piece of Basic White card stock along with a Night of Navy base. I had theis white oval cut from the Framed Florets dies when I used the frame part for card class last month so I grabbed it to add the Balmy Blue and the Sahara Sand inks with my blending brushes. I stamped the shells in Sahara Sand ink from the Seaside Bay set to the bottom. I stamped the sentiment from the Forever Fern set in Night Of Navy ink. I cut the bird out from a piece of the By The Bay DSP with the matching Seaside Bay dies. I love that he is already colored right from the designer paper.

I used the Irresistible Blooms bundle again along with the Hello, Irresistible DSP for today's card. I have a white base and a piece of the lovely DSP in a Soft Sea Foam print for the background. I punched out the vellum circle with my 2 1/2" circle punch. I stamped the flower in Flirty Flamingo ink on white card stock then sponged a little Daffodil Delight ink on to color the flower. I stamped the leaves in Soft Succulent ink on Soft Sea Foam cards tock for the leaves and cit all out with the matching dies. I stamped the sentiment in Flirty Flamingo ink on white card stock and hand snipped it poorly out to pop on the flower's center. I finished off with some yellow gems.

I started with a Sweet Sorbet base but cut a little off the top panel to see underneath. I added inside the Basic White piece of card stock with a strip of Country Gingham DSP and stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sorbet ink and punched it out with the Double Oval punch. For the front I added a piece of Petal Pinkcard stock and a white piece cut with the detailed die from Irresistible Blooms dies. I stamped the two flowers in Sweet Sorbet ink on Petal pink card stock then cut them out along with some Mint Macaron leaves. I finsihed off with some irridescent pearls.
