Let It Snowman Tag

I wanted to make a simple tag for my customer
who purchased this bundle from me this week.
I cut a 2" x 4" piece of white card stock and
stamped Coastal Cabana snowflakes and the
sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I stamped the snowman on a piece of
thick white piece of card stock and it punched out
plus the top hat. I colored on the snowman and hat and popped
them up on the tag.
I also punched the Soft Suede stick arms and added those.
I punched a hole in top and added some Real Red ribbon.

around and before adding to the Very Vanilla base.
I stamped the sentiment in Real Red on the Vanilla stitched label
from the Peace Boughs set.
I finished off of with Toile Tidings glitter enamel dots in Real Red.
The stitched labels dies were a limited time set last fall

Copper Christmas Gleaming!

I saw Patty Bennett over at pattystamps.com
run her emboss folder called Hammered Metal through
to emboss a Very Vanilla piece of card stock then rub some
Celestial Copper Delicata ink over with a sponge.
I tried it and love it so added it to my Pretty Peacock base.
I cut the Copper foil from the Stitched Nested Labels and then added
a Very Vanilla one on top.
I punched the copper ornament then a Brightly Gleaming DSP one plus
stamped a copper on Vanilla and punched it with
 the Gleaming Ornament punch pack.
I tied the 1/2" Classic Weave ribbon with the words Merry Christmas
in copper. I did not even have to use a a sentiment stamp.
I finished it off with a Pretty Peacock rhinestone.

Hope you have a beautiful Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

GDP213 Merry Christmas Gleaming Ornaments

Today I get to be the guest designer for the color challenge since I won
the last color challenge over at global-design-project.com
So excited to share with you today!

Really you can make any color for ornaments and this
Stylish Scroll is a perfect background also in any color.
I did a little casing of my friend Stesha Bloodhart
over at stampinhoot.com
You can see her card here.
I decided these ornament would look beautiful colored
in the Lovely Lipstick Stampin Blends markers after I stamped them
in Memento Tuxedo Black and punched them out with the
Gleaming Ornaments punch pack. I colored the top of them with the
Basic Black Stampin Blends. I stamped the holly sprig in the same Memento
and colored it with the Old Olive and Lovely Lipstick Stampin Blends.
I hand snipped it out.
I then stamped the sentiment on white card stock in Old olive ink and
hand snipped it also.
I layered all these on the Smoky Slate background
ran thru with the Stylish Scroll emboss folder.
I added this onto a Lipstick base and colored some rhinestones
with the Lovely Lipstick Stampin Blends to add some bling.

Hope you can join us this week and play along with the lovely
color challenge over at global-design-project.com

PP465 A Gleaming Merry Christmas

I thought this was a great sketch from Ann this week
and another chance to rock the beautiful copper foil along with
the Brightly Gleaming suite.
I started with the Very Vanilla base and then layered a piece
of Pretty Peacock card stock. I then added the Peacock and copper
foil print of designer paper. I layered copper foil with another print
of the designer paper.
I cut a copper foil stitched rectangle the layer my
sentiment stamped in Pretty Peacock on Very Vanilla
card stock and hand snipped.
From the same set called Christmas Gleaming, I stamped
the large ornament on vanilla card stock and
used the matching punch. I tied on the retired bit of
vanilla and copper ribbon to the ornament.

I decided to use this one on some beautiful plaid paper.
I choose a blue Wrapped In Plaid DSP print and layered it
on a white base. I cut some Shaded Spruce Beautiful Boughs
pine stems and layered them behind the label from the same dies
in white stamped with the sentiment from Peace Boughs in
Night of Navy ink.

GDP212 Christmas In Pretty Peacock

I decided to case Manuela's layout for this cute card!
Hope you can play along over at global-design-project.com

I started with the DSP called Come To Gather in the
lovely Pretty Peacock gingham print and added some of that
same color card stock behind. I then layered them on the white base.

and cut it with the matching die.  From that same set of dies called
Into The Woods, I cut the detailed white tree to lay on top.
I stamped the sentiment from Greatest Part Of Christmas set
in Peacock and finished it off with a Pretty Peacock rhinestone.

I stamped it in VersaMark ink and used the white emboss powder
on Seaside Spray card stock cut on Stitched Rectangle dies.
I then layered it on the wonderful Fells Like Frost DSP
then layered on the Rococo Rose base.
Simple but shows off the winter scene well.

embossed with the Tufted emboss folder.
I cut the Black Stitched Nested Label and then stamped the
image from a retired set called This Day Forward in VersaMark ink.
I heat embossed the image in white emboss powder with the heat tool.
I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black on a strip of white.
I finished it off with some black gems.

Happy Wicked Birthday

I designed this birthday card for a friend and customer
who has a birthday this week and is obsessed with Halloween.
I used some retired DSP (probably at least 10 yrs old) and layered
on the Pumpkin Pie card stock and then the 5" square Basic Black base.
I cut the spider web in Basic Black card stock with a die I borrowed
from a friend as well as the spider. I cut the wicked sentiment
from the Wicked die in Pumpkin Pie. I stamped the
the Happy and Birthday from Well Said set in Memento Tuxedo
Black ink on Whisper White card stock and snipped them out.
I finished off with a few black rhinestones.

set in Real Red ink on the white label and then stamped the
pine branch from Peaceful Boughs set in Granny Apple Green

CTS175 & Fabfri174 Wicked

Loved combining these two challenges and how the card came out!
I was not sure what to do for the color challenge but the use of the
trees from Into The Woods dies did pop into my head for the sketch.
I started with the white background and stamped the splatter stamp in
Melon Mambo ink from the Artisan Textures stamp set.
I then cut 5 Basic Black trees from the Into The Woods dies
to line across before adding a double Wicked die in
Basic Black card stock with Pumpkin Pie card stock.
I added the Melon Mambo spider to the bottom and gave him some
bling with a black rhinestone!
I layered the white background on a piece of Basic Black and then a
Melon Mambo base.
Hope you can play along over at casethissketch.blogspot.com

Holy Night

I had to do a card in purple for card classes!
Last card for this week and I used the So Many Stars bundle.
I started with the white base and added a Gorgeous Grape
piece of car stock before layering on the white background.
I stamped with the silver ink the mini stars stamp over the top of the
background. I stamped the sentiment in Grape on the bottom.
I wanted to use this layout so my guest could pick any sentiment
from the set (or another set) to place on their creation.
I stamped to size stars in Grape ink and cut them with the
Stitched Stars dies. I cut two stars from the Grape card stock
plus one in vellum.  The vellum is added to the large Grape star.
I finished it off with a metallic pearl in silver.

Hope you have a blessed Monday!
Thanks for stopping by!

Love this color combo!  I did sub some colors above like
Pumpkin Pie and Gorgeous Grape which are current.
I used a Basic Black base and added a piece of Pumpkin Pie
card stock then a piece of Smoky Slate embossed with the
Stylish Scroll emboss folder (which I love)!
I then cut a label from Beautiful Boughs dies in Whisper White
and stamped the sentiment from Painted Harvest in Memento

and cut them with the matching dies called Gathered Leaves.
Used the same dies to cut the Grape and Pie leaves.
I colored the pumpkins with my Pumpkin Pie Stampin Blends

A few grape sequins finished it off.

Peaceful Boughs Suite

For my fourth card for classes next week, I used the new Peaceful Boughs
bundle in two greens- Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz
along with the lovely Poppy Parade. I used a Poppy Parade base
and added a piece of Whisper White card stock plus a Garden Green with the
Poppy ribbon wrapped around. On the Green background,
I stamped in the same color one f the branches from the stamp set
a few times. I then added die cut branches in the same green plus Pizzazz.
I stamped the pine cones in Early Espresso ink on Crumb Cake card stock
and cut them with the same dies called Beautiful Boughs.
Not really sure if like my pine cone placement but I got three on there.
I cut the white label with the same dies after stamping the sentiment in Poppy.

Peace On Earth Winter Woods

I really like the way this card turned out too for my classes next week.
Was looking forward to designing with the plaid paper on a card.
I started with the lovely Shaded Spruce base (this is a perfect green to me!)
I added the 3" by 4' 1/4" strip of Wrapped In Plaid DSP to the base.
I will offer all the prints to my classes and they will pick their plaid to add.
I placed a strip of gold foil across to accent the gold in the plaid.
I cut the Stitched Rectangle in white and added my two trees stamped
from the Winter Woods set in Shaded Spruce ink and cut with the matching
dies called Into The Woods dies. I stamped the sentiment from an
old retired set called Greetings Of The Season in Cherry Cobbler ink
and cut it out with the Stitched Shapes dies in oval.
To finish it off, it needed a little more Cherry Cobbler so I
punched out two springs in that paper with the Sprig punch.

Hope you enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!

Deck The Gleaming Halls

This is my second card for classes next week and I am using the
lovely Brightly Gleaming suite for this one.
I started with the Very Vanilla base and added a piece of
Night of Navy embossed with the Subtles emboss folder.
The light texture does not take away from the prints in the designer papers.
I did use two prints of the Brightly Gleaming DSP here, both with the
touch of the beautiful copper.
I cut two strips for the background- one in copper foil and the
other in the designer paper.
I cut a vanilla Stitched Nested Label die to add my sentiment from
the Christmas Gleaming set stamped in Night of Navy ink.
I then stamped the ornament in the new Delicata Celestial Copper ink.
I punched it out with the small ornament punch and used the large ornament
punch for the print of designer paper.
I finished my card off with the copper trim bow on the small ornament.

Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by!

how this first card for classes next week turned out.

and colored with my Stampin Blends markers- Light Pool Party
around the snowman, Real Red on his scarf, Smoky Slate
to shadow on the snowman and ground, Pumpkin Pie for his nose,
and Crumb Cake for the rocks.
I added the strip of Let It Snow DSP also cut with the Stitched Rect dies.

Love this holder from my friend Julie DiMatteo
over at The Paper Pixie.  You can see her info for
directions here
I am giving this to my Bible Study leader(kind of like a boss)
and using the thank you, inspiration theme, and ribbon
with this fall hand cream holder.
I bought the 1 oz hand cream from Bath and Body Works and it fits
perfect inside.
I used the Come To Gather DSP in plaid and cut two
Merry Merlot leaves from the Gathered Leaves dies
to pop on under the sentiment
stamped from Gather Together set in Pretty Peacock
ink on white card stock and cut with the Ornate Frames die.
I used the 1/2" scalloped linen ribbon in Pretty Peacock to tie on top.

I cut the frames in white card stock, then cut the Mint Macaron frames
to layer on top before adding my pumpkins stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink
from Gather Together stamp set.
I cut the pumpkins with the Gathered Leaves dies, and the sentiment from the

Ia dded a layer of white before pacing it on a Pear Pizzazz base.
