GDP225 & FMS420 From My Heart

I made a sweet 5" square card for the sketch challenge over at
freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com and the color challenge over at
global-design-project.com
I cut the base at 5" by 10" and scored to make the 5" square base.
I added the From The Heart DSP cut at 4.75" square.
I cut the heart from Stitched Be Mine dies in white-it makes two
separate pieces which I put back together.
I punched out the foil heart from the DSP pack.
I stamped the sentiment from Heartfelt set in Flirty Flamingo ink
on a white heart  I punched with a retired heart punch.
I finished out the sketch with the flowers from the dies in Flirty Flamingo
card stock and added the pearl for a finishing touch.

I hope you can play along with the challenges this week
and thanks for stopping by!

them with Old Olive and So Saffron Stampin Blends markers.
I cut them with the matching dies called In The Tropics dies.
I also cut a leaf in Old Olive to add to each.
I layered them on a piece of vellum before the floral DSP
called Tropical Oasis DSP and the So Saffron base.
I cut the aloha in Pretty Peacock card stock layered on white
with a flower trinket on the last a.

Honey Bee Bags For Classes

I decided to added some of the awesome Golden Honey DSP to
white gift bags and then decorate with the Honey Bee bundle.
I like to have bags, holders, boxes, etc for my guest to carry their cards
home from classes each month.
It was an easy choice to use this bundle and paper to decorate this month.
I stamped the hive in Golden Glitz ink, the flower in Memento
Tuxedo Black and colored with an old gold marker.
I cut the bee from gold foil and black card stock along with the tiny hearts.
I usually buy my bags at the Dollartree for 3 for $1 but this time
I bought a bulk of bags 50 for 14.00 on Amazon and they
are just a little shorter.

Have a wonderful Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!

Hello Beautiful Poppies

I love the Poppy Parade color. It is a happy color!
This is my last card for classes this week and I am using the
Peaceful Poppies suite along with the sentiment from Butterfly Gala set.
I used the Poppy Parade base then cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry
card stock with the scalloped rectangle from Stitched So Sweetly dies.
I added a panel of the Peaceful Poppies DSP.
I cut from Razzleberry the swirl from the Painted label dies and
then punch the white circle with my 1 3/4" punch to
stamp the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry ink.
I stamped the flower and the leaves on white in Memento Tuxedo Black
ink from the Painted Poppies set and cut them with the matching dies.
I colored the leaves with the dark Old Olive Stampin Blend marker.
I stamped the water mark stamp in Poppy Parade over the flower to color it in.

Parisian Happy Birthday

This is my fourth card for classes this week.
I made a very similar card a few weeks back you can see here.
On this one, I placed all on a Petal Pink base.
I added some Basic Black card stock before layering my white background
embossed with the Parisian Flourish embossing folder.
I cut the black oval from the Layering Oval dies and
stamped the script from Parisian Beauty set in Whisper White craft ink.
The tower from same set was stamp on white with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cut
with the matching Parisian dies. I stamped the flower from the
Forever Blossoms set in Memento on white card stock and
cut it along with the Petal Pink flowers behind with the Cherry Blossoms dies.
I colored it with the Petal Pink Stampin Blend marker.
I stamped the sentiment on a Petal Pink banner in Memento ink
from the Timeless Tulips set.
A pearl in the middle of my flower finished it off.

Thinking Of You Lovely Lily

This is my third card for classes next week.
I wanted to stamp the lilies on colored card stock so
my guest did not have loads of coloring to do.
This layout was inspired by my friend Tricia Chuba
at butterdishdesigns.com and you can see her card here
I started with my Granny Apple Green base and added a strip
of the lovely and free Lily Impressions DSP and Melon Mambo card stock.
I then stamped the blooms from the free set called Lovely Lily Pad (also free
with the SAB promo going on now though March 31st)
on Melon Mambo paper in Lovely Lipstick ink.
I stamped the lily pad in Granny on Granny card stock.
I cut them with free SAB Lily Pad dies.
I could not decide on the shape for the center but ended up
doing the stitched square in Whisper White for something different.
I tend to usually go for a circle or oval shape.
I stamped the sentiment from Good Morning Magnolia set in
Gorgeous Grape ink.
Hope you have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!

Celebrate Honey Bee

This is my second card for classes next week and I hope
they love the Honey bee suite as much as I do.
I used the Honey Bee set here to stamp the hive in Crushed Curry,
the bees in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with a Crushed Curry marker.
I cut them with the matching Detailed Bee dies.
I stamped the sentiment in black and cut it out withe the
Ornate Frames die.
I used two different prints from the Golden Honey DSP
and added the strip of Curry across then layered it on the white base.
The Golden Honey DSP is free when you purchase 50.00 of product
from Stampin' Up! now through March 31st during the SAB promotion.

Happy Valentine's Day 2020

This is the first card for my card class this month and of course,
the Valentine's Day card for class.
I did some casing of the card on page 8 of the new 2020 mini catalog
featuring this bundle.
I started with the Flirty Flamingo base.
I cut a white piece of card stock
and added two pieces of From The Heart DSP cut 2" by 5 1/4".
I ran the Real Red 3/8" satin ribbon around.
Then I came all the hearts!
I punched out the shiny scallop heart from the DSP with the scallop
heart punch and stamped the sentiment from Heartfelt set on white in
Real Red ink punching it with the non-scallop punch heart
before adding to the punched heart.
I stamped the other detailed scallop heart also in Real Red and punched
with the same scallop punch.
I stamped the small lacy hearts in Real Red and Flirty Flamingo
and then used a heart die from the Stitched Be Mine dies.
I finished with some Real red rhinestones!

Hope you enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!

PP474 Kindness In Style Treat Bag

I did keep this clean and simple for the Fashion Fun
challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com
I grabbed a copper dotted treat bag and added the tag with the gold clip.
The tag is using the lovely Best Dressed DSP layered on
a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock.
I added the rectangle in Purple Posy and ran it though
with the Stone embossing folder. I then stamped the sentiment
from Dressed To Impress in Rich Razzleberry
and cut it with the Stitched So Sweetly die.
I finished it off with a pearl.
I stuffed this with a pack of Star Bursts for a sweet young friend.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

FabFri181 & GDP224 Greatest Guy

I saw these two sketches as similar so playing along in both the fabfridaystampinchallenge.blogspot.com and global-design-project.com
this week with my Greatest Guy card.
I really love the color combo of gray and coral.
So I used a Calypso Coral base and added the print of
Country Club DSP. I cut the Stitched Nested label in
Smoky Slate and ran it through the new Absolutely Argyle embossing folder.
I then cut the 5 gold club in Basic Gray with the Golf Club dies.
I also cut the white gold balls with the same dies.
I stamped the sentiment from Clubhouse in Basic Gray ink on white card stock
and cut with the shield die and then stamped it again in
the Calypso Coral and cut with the banner die.
I love all the texture here!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

I added one print to the white base and then cut another print with
the new Stitched So Sweetly dies.
I stamped some gold ink on the background before I laid down the printed die.
I stamped the bee and flower in Memento Tuxedo Black and cut them
with the matching die. I colored them both with an old gold marker.
I stamped the sentiment and cut it from the same stitched dies.

FMS418 Always And Forever

I had just received these lovely dies called Cherry Blossoms when
I saw this fun sketch over at freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com
I decided to try the blossom die cut in this curve shape.
First, I made my background by sponging some
Pool Party ink on the Very Vanilla card stock  leaving some
clean on the right side as the sketch shows.
I layered it on a Very Vanilla base.
I cut the Soft Suede branch from the Cherry Blossom dies and
then started cutting lots of Blushing Bride blossoms with the dies
along with the Soft Suede centers. I cut a few different leaf sizes
in Old Olive to finish up the floral branch.
I then stamped the sentiment from Forever Blossoms set on Vanilla
in Suede ink and hand snipped them a part.
Now I am not very good at this sentiment snipping.
So hopefully the rest of the card makes up for it.
I did add some pearls to make it more sweet!
I have a wedding next month so I think this will be a
beautiful wedding card.

Thanks for stopping by!

GDP223 Happy Birthday Hibiscus

Again, I am casing a layout from my upline Mary Fish
over at stampinpretty.com
You can see the post here.
I decided to use this sketch for a tropical birthday
card to play along with the theme over at
global-design-project.com this week.

I used an Old Olive base and then a lovely piece of the
Tropical Oasis DSP layered with white card stock for the background.
I cut a piece of Old Olive plus some white card stock with the
Layering Square dies but ran the Olive one through the
Coastal Weave embossing folder.
I stamped on white the leaves from Timeless tropical
in Old Olive ink and cut them with the matching In The Tropics dies.
I did the same for the flowers but used Real Red ink
on Daffodil Delight and Grapefruit Grove card stock.
I cut a few solid leaves in Garden Green card stock.
I used some rhinestones for the center of the flowers.
I used the sentiment from Timeless Tulips
stamped in Real Red on a Daffodil banner cut
from the Golf Club dies and a white strip added behind.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!

FF0050 Hello Magnolia Blossoms

This challenge over at festivefridaychallenge.com
caught my eye with water coloring which I love to do.
I decided to pull out my Good Morning Magnolia set
and water color the blossoms in the set.
I also picked three others for the challenge today:
ribbon, stitching and die cuts. The stitching does not show up
well here but the Stitched Nested Label die was used in the middle.
When I ran it thought the Coastal Weave embossing folder,
you now can't see the stitching. The white die for the
sentiment has stitching too from the Ornate Frames dies
but hard to see when photographed.
I stamped the blossoms in Memento Tuxedo Black and
water colored them with my aqua painter plus
Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow inks.
I cut them with the Magnolia Memory dies.
I added them around the sentiment and embossed label which
I placed on the Magnolia Lane DSP print and I layered a
piece of Whisper White card stock behind
and finally the Mossy Meadow base.
Before adhering the layers, I ran the white polka dot
tulle ribbon around and added a big bow.

Hope you have a beautiful day and
thanks for stopping by!

PP473 Get Well Soon

Doing a little casing of my amazing upline Mary Fish today.
You can see her card here
I loved her idea with the tulips and punching the extra petals
to make it 3D with the leaf in the Tulip Builder punch.
This worked well for the color challenge
 over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com
I just got the new dies called Stitched So Sweetly
and cut a white rectangle scallop on and layered it on the
Peaceful Poppies DSP. I added some Old Olive
card stock behind and placed them on the white base.
Like I said above, I punched out the tulip shape in Poppy Parade
and Rich Razzleberry along with a few leaves in those colors to add
dimension to my tulips. I also punched out a few Old Olive leaves.
I popped them up on the white die and colored a few rhinestones
in Poppy with a Stampin Blend marker.
I used the sentiment from the Timeless Tulips set in VersaMark
ink and heat embossed on the Old Olive banner in white.

Go play along with the color challenge this week and
make something beautiful!

CTS354 Parisian Amour

CTS354

I was just looking through this Parisian Blossoms DSP
and thought I need to challenge myself to use this print.
I featured it here for the sketch challenge over at
casethissketch.blogspot.com
I layered the Cherry Cobbler card stock to my white base.
I ran the Petal Pink card stock background through the
Parisian Flourish embossing folder.
I added the strip cut at 1 1/2" by 4" to the side and cut the
DSP with my stitched square die from the Stitched Shapes dies set.
I cut the Amour in white from the Parisian dies but it
still needed something!
I stamped the fleur de lis image from the Parisian Beauty set with
VersaMark in on Cherry  and heat embossed it
with white powder then cut with matching die.

Hope you have a fabulous day!

FMS417 Honey Bee Hello

Great sketch over at freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com this week.
I used the Honey Bee bundle along with the Golden Honey DSP.
I hope you first can see on my Basic Black card stock that I
embossed the small honey comb die from Detailed Bee dies over it several times.
An emboss folder would be nice but right now we do not have one.
I layered it on the white base. I cut the DSP with the lovely
black white and gold print. I cut the solid bee
from the Detailed Bee dies in gold foil and added the detailed bee
in Basic Black over it. I stamped the sentiment from the Honey Bee set
in gold ink on black card stock and cut it to fit on the white
Ornate Frame die.
I hope you have a wonderful Monday and thanks
for stopping by today!

GDP222 Relax Under The Palms

Love this designer paper! You will hear me say it
over and over this spring! I used two prints from the
Tropical Oasis DSP for the sketch over at
global-design-project.com
I added them to the Old Olive base.
I then stamped the palms trees image twice and cut them out
with the matching dies from In The Tropics dies.
The top of the trees are Old Olive ink and bottom in Crumb Cake.
I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless tropical set in
Soft Suede on Grapefruit Grove and cut it with a die
from the Ornate Frames dies. I ran some Crumb Cake twine behind
and added the leaf trinket from the Tropical Oasis trinkets to finish it off.

Have a wonderful Friday and

I made it the background and layered a piece of Old Olive then a piece
of Poppy Parade before adding to the white base.
I wrapped some of the sweet Whier White 1/4" crinkled
seam binding ribbon around twice before adhering to the base.
I cut the ornate die from the Orante Frames dies in
Poppy Parade card stock and then another die from the same set
in white. I stamped the sentiment from Dressed To Impress in
Old Olive ink to finish off this card.

Hope you have a lovely day and

FabFri180 & PP472 Be As Bold As Your Lipstick

Such a fun card! Yes, it is bright and purple!
I decided to use this new set called Dressed To Impress
but had no real layout in mind.
I stamped the perfume, the lip stick and two shoes in
Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with the
three colors in Stampin Blends markers from lovely color challenge over at
fabfridaystampinchallenge.blogspot.com
Then I thought shoes, perfume, lipstick-I have all new ones for
2020 so I am playing along also over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com
for the something new theme!
BTW- all of these were hand snipped out!
I have a Poppy Parade base and I cut a piece of Highland Heather
with the Stitched Rectangle die. I then cut two different sized
Stitched Rectangle dies plus two Stitched Squares
from Stitched Shapes dies in Whisper White card stock.
I added the images on three white panels and stamped the sentiment
in Poppy Parade ink. I stamped the flowers in Memento and colored them
with Poppy for a little more pop of colors and cuteness!

Hope you have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!

CTS353 Parisian Birthday Wishes

I have been planning to do a black and white card
with this Parisian Beauty bundle.
This awesome sketch from my friend Brian King this week
at casethissketch.blogspot.com was the perfect time to make it.
I was going to add a black fleur de lis from the same set but
I wanted a little pop of pink so I added the flower blossom
stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black from the Forever Blossoms set
then colored in Flirty Flamingo. I added a pink pearl to the center.
I stamped the tower in same black and cut it out with the matching dies.
I cut the black oval from Layering Oval dies and stamped the script from
Parisian Beauty in Whisper White craft ink.
I layered these on the white background ran through the
Parisian Flourish embossing folder.
I added the Basic Black card stock panel then placed on the white base.
I finished it off with the sentiment banner stamped in

A Tee Time Happy Birthday

This bundle is so much fun to design with so I was
happy I had to make another birthday card for my uncle.
He is a big golfer also and is near retirement and probably will play more now.
I used the Country Club DSP prints I had cut into already for my dad's card
and layered them on a Crushed Curry base
. I added a thin strip of Poppy Parade across the two prints.
I cut the white and Night of Navy labels with the
Stitched Nested Labels dies and popped them up in the middle.
I stamped the golf ball image on white card stock with my
Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cut it with the matching die.
I colored it with the Stampin Blends in Call Me Clover,
Smoky Slate, and Crushed Curry.
I stamped the sentiment on the Poppy Parade
banner I cut with the Golf Club dies and heat embossed
in white. Final touch was adding the Crumb Cake gold clubs
behind the golf ball image cut from same dies set.
Very colorful card!
Hope you have a wonderful week and
thanks for stopping by!

Greatest Guy

I designed a birthday card for my dad next week.
He loves golf and since retiring several years ago,
he works a few days a week at golf course in Atlanta so
he can play for free when he wants.
I just had to get this new Country Club suite to make cards for him,
my uncle and my brother which are big golfers.
I did a little casing from the new mini catalog which starts today!
I started with the Country Club DSP in blue and green for the background.
I love a good argyle print! I layered it on a piece of
white card stock and then a Night of Navy base.
I then cut the Garden Green Stitched Nested Label die and then
ran it through the Absolutely Argyle embossing folder.
I stamped the golfer in Memento Tuxedo Black from Clubhouse stamp set
and then colored it with my Stampin Blends markers.
I cut it with the matching dies.
I then stamped the sentiment on Night of Navy in VersaMark
and heat embossed it in white emboss powder.
I cut it with the shield die from the Golf Club dies.
I added some wooden elements behind with the County Club elements.
I placed them on the white golf ball I cut from the dies also.
I cut a little white ball to add to the upper left corner to finish it off.
Hope you have a wonderful first weekend of 2020.
Thanks for stopping by!

FMS416 Merci Parisian Beauty

I finally cut into my beautiful Parisian Blossoms DSP today!
For the sketch challenge over at freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com
I used the Parisian Beauty bundle and this lovely paper.
Actually, this is one of the fun prints and the ones with the
foil are just gorgeous!
I did cut my tower from Champagne foil and used almost all of it.
The little travel suitcases on the paper are so fun!
I layered the 4.5" by 3.5" DSP with a piece cut the same size of Petal Pink
on the Pool Party base. I cut the Merci die in Petal Pink card stock
and layered it across the tower. I finished it off with some retired
sequins in Petal Pink.
This was a quick card and then I noticed I did not stamp so it was so easy!

Hope your day is as easy and blessed!
Thanks for stopping by!

GDP221 Timeless Tulips Happy Birthday And Happy New Year!

I really like these colors for the tulips!
Head over to play along with the color challenge
over at global-design-project.com
I stamped the tulips in Cherry Cobbler and then the stems
and leaves in Shaded Spruce on white card stock.
The Tulip Builder punch did the work for the tulips and the leaves
but I had to hand snip the stems. Super easy thankfully.
I then cut the frame from the Heirloom frames dies in Early Espresso
card stock and then embossed it with the rectangle Heirloom emboss folder.
I added this to the white background embossed with the Subtles emboss
folder and layered on the Espresso base.
I finished it off with the Ornate Frame die cut in white card stock
and the sentiment in Espresso ink.
It turned out to be a quick card.
You can never go wrong with tulips!

Happy New Year and Welcome 2020!
Hope your year is blessed and fruitful!
