Hello Fragrant Flowers

I made a Z fold card for my last card for classes this month. I love the Favored Flowers DSP which you can earn free right now with a 50.00 SU! order while the SAB promotion is going on. I got inspiration from Jennifer Cotton  over at stampwithjennifer.blogspot.com.  I cut my base as usually and then scored the top at 2 1/8" for the fold. I added a strip of the Favored Flowers DSP on then cut a panel of Blackberry Bliss DSP and a piece of Fresh Freesia card stock ran through the Quatrefoil Tile embossing folder for the front. I stamped the large floral image in Memento Tuxedo Black on white cards tock from the Fragrant Flowers set and cut ti out with the matching die. I used my sponge daubers to add Mossy Meadow ink to the leaves and Fresh Freesia ink to the flowers. I stamped the sentiment from the same set in Backberry Bliss ink on a piece of white card stock and cut it with a bnner die from the Fragrant Flowers dies. I did cut on end off of the banner afterwards. I decided to add a FResh Freesia open weave ribbon bow to the front. Inisde a placed a piece of Basic White card stock stamped with Mossy Meadow ink on the lower right corner from the Frangrant Flowers set.

Favored Flowers For The Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, our blog hop theme is Sale-A-Bration! We hope you will be inspired by all the beautiful creations the Pals made for you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

My favorite product in the Sale-a-bration (SAB) brochure for 2023 is the Favored Flowers DSP! It must be all that purple! And it pairs with a beautiful bundle called Fragrant Flowers on page 21 of the new 2023 Spring Mini catalog. The dies cut the flowers from the DSP which is what I am featuring here on my gatefold card. I used a Mossy Meadow base and added strips of Blackberry Bliss and one print from the Favored Flowers DSP for the outside. I then added inside a piece of Blackberry Bliss and a piece of Fresh Freesia card stock. I cut the flowers right from one piece of the DSP to added on a Balckberry Bliss sticthed square cut from the Stylish Shapes dies and one to pop inside. I then stamped the sentiment from the Fragrant Flowers set in VersaMark ink on a piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock and heat embossed with with white embossing powder. I cut it with the banner die from the matching dies. I finished it off with some opaque adhesive-backed gems in Fresh Freesia also new in the 2023 spring mini.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on February 8th, when we will be creating projects for Random Acts of Kindness Week.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Framed Florets With Fancy Flora Paper

I love this Fancy Flora DSP in the the new SU! spring mini catalog that starts TODAY! I was really drawn to this print I think because of the tones of green and brown. I was going to feature this paper with a little sentiment to make it shines bu then decided to add the frame with the large sentiment but it seemed plain so I stamped some flowers from the Framed Florets set. The flowers and well as the sentiment are from the Framed Florets set stamped on white card stock ink Soft Suede ink for the flowers and Evening Evergreen for the sentiment. I cut them out with the matching Framed Florets dies. I colored the flowers with my Stampin Blends markers in Light Crumb Cake, Light Soft Succulent, and Light Petal Pink. The frame is cut from the same dies in Soft Succulent card stock.  My layers are a piece of the Fancy Flora DSP plus a piece of Soft Succulent cards tock layered on a piece of Basic White and a Soft Suede base. Happy New Year & Happy Birthday!

Happy New Year to you and yours! I took off for a few weeks of crafting and posting! I needed to also clean out my craft space and put away holiday/fall stamps/supplies. Today, I have a new stamp set you can find in the SU! 2023 Sale-a-bration (SAB) brochure which starts this Thursday on Jan 5th and runs to the end of February. You can earn sets/DSP for free when you purchase SU! products. This set is called Beautifully Happy and it is on page 13 of the new brochure and you can earn it free with a 100.00 or more purchase. I was happy to be given it for free in November when attanding the Onstage event in Jacksonville FL.
About the card: I started with stamping the image on a piece of Basic White card stock in Soft Suede ink. I used my water color pencils to color it in. I grabbed Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo. I then layered a piece of Granny Apple Green card stock behind before adding on the Flirty Flamingo base with a piece of the gold hive paper on top.  The gold hive paper cut out is from a Paper Pumpkin kit we had in September. I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede ink on a Ornate Frame die cut on white card stock. I finished it off with a few Brushed Brass Butterflies.
Hope your first Monday in 2023 is beautiful and thanks for stopping by!
