Happy Shelling Birthday For The Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month’s Stampin’ Pretty Pals Blog Hop is all about the Male Room theme—because the men in our lives deserve handmade cards too! Whether you’re creating for a dad, husband, son, grandson, brother, or friend, this hop is packed with ideas to help you craft something special. Today, the Pals are sharing male-themed card designs using Stampin’ Up! products, from bright and playful styles to classic looks and quick-and-easy layouts. If you’re looking for fresh inspiration (or just a good reason to dive into your craft room), you’re in the perfect place.

I made this card for a male friend and neighbor's birthday this weekend using three beachy sets, some heat embossing and blending brushes. I have a Secret Sea base cut at 4.25" by 5.5" and I layered with a piece of white card stock that I blended three inks with my blending brushes- Secret Sea, Lost Lagoon, and Pecan Pie. I then stamped the shells from the Shell Collecting stamp set with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder and my heat tool to make the background. I then cut a piece of Lost Lagoon card stock 3" by 8" and scored in half at 4" on the long side. I added a piece of white card stock inside which I blended some more Pecan Pie ink and stamped some small starfish from the Beach Time stamp set in the same ink. I then stamped the shells again in VersaMark ink on white card stock and heat embossed them in white embossing powder with my heat tool. I then blended the inks over them before hand snipping them out. I arranged them on the front and added some holographic sequin around. I stamped the sentiment in Secret Sea ink from the Boardwalk Fun stamp set on a white label cut from the Rectangle Stitched dies.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Keep the inspiration going! I hope my project inspired you to create something special for the guys in your life. Be sure to continue along the hop for even more Male Room inspiration from the Stampin’ Pretty Pals. Next month will be Flowers in Bloom, so mark your calendars!

PP779 Spring Flowers For You

Playing along today with Ann's Tic-tac-toe challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com with middle row down-ribbon, flowers, and pattern paper! I have a Pretty In Pink base with a layer of the Easter Joy specialty DSP. I grabbed this pattern because it has some of my daughter's fav colors (pastels) and this card is on its way to her at school. I ran three pieces of the Pretty In Pink ribbon around before attaching the pattern paper. I cut a Pretty In Pink label from the Traditional Labels dies and then popped my flowers stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink from the Easter Basket stamp set on white card stock and cut with the matching dies after being colored with the Stampin Blends markers in Peach Pie, Pretty In Pink, Balmy Blue, and Shy Shamrock. I also cut the grass twice in Shy Shamrock card stock with thos same dies. I used a whie banner punched with the Triple Banner punch for my sentiment in Black ink from the Esster Basket stamp set. I finished with some Pretty In Pink gems.
Hope you have a beautiful Easter week and thanks for stopping by!

I cut three Shy Shamrock ribbon pieces to lay across before attaching to the top. I then cut a white Stylish Shape oval and stamped in Shy Shamrock ink the sentiment and added the bunny plus carrot stamped on white in Pecan Pie ink. I cut those with the matching dies to pop on my oval. I colored with Stampin Blends markers in Pretty In Pink, Peach Pie, and Shy Shamrock. I finished with some Pretty In Pink gems.

I stamped the bunnies, flowers, chick and carrot in Pecan Pie ink from the Easter Basket set and cut out with the matching dies. I added color with the Stampin Blends markers in Petal pink, Pretty In pink, Peach Pie, Lemon Lolly, and Shy Shamrock. I stamped the sentiment in Shy Shamrock ink on a white banner from a paper pumpkin kit and cut in half the words to pop on either side of tag. I used a Peach Pie ribbon to tie on after hole punching. A quicj tie of white/silver twine to ribbon to finish it off.
