Sunny Season's Greetings

I have been so heartbroken over the devastation from Hurricane Ian to my beloved Sanibel Island here in Florida that I decided to make a card as I was thinking of them this past Saturday for World Card Making Day 2022.
I vacation there every year and we think of the island like our second home. I love the beach and I love making beachy cards.
I pulled out my Sunkissed set and stamped the palm image on a piece of Basic White card stock in Early Espresso ink. I then stamped the seagull and some shell at the bottom. I took my blending brushes and added ink in Mango Melody, Coastal Cabana and Sahara Sand.
I colored the bird a little with my light Smoky Slate Stampin Blend marker. I added all to a piece of Sahara Sand card stock ran through with the Coastal Weave embossing folder. I then added all to a Sahara Sand base. I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink on a piece of white card stock and cut it out with the oval from All That dies.
Hope you have a restful Thursday and thanks for stopping by!

PP611 Hello Harvest Pumpkin

I love Autumn and decorating for it though I do not have fall temps here in Florida. For Joanne's Autumn theme challenge this week over at I used the fun Hello Harvest bundle. I have been wanting to cut that pumpkin in white with the two detailed dies from the Rustic Pumpkin dies. I also cut a Early Espresso stem and a Mossy Meadow small curly stem. I added these to the Design A Daydream DSP background and layered it with a piece of Old Olive card stock. I then added it to the piece of Cajun Craze card stock ran though the Tasteful Textile embossing folder plus the Vajun Craze base. I then stamped the sentiment from Hello Harvest set in VersaMark ink on a piece of Early Espresso card stock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I cut it out with the Stylish Shapes dies. I finished it off with some white dots.
I hope you have blessed day and thanks for stopping by!

Hello Splendid Thoughts

I had some pieces left over from my card class to make this card from the Splendid Day suite. I started with a Crumb Cake base and layered a piece of Basic White cards tock over it then added the strips of DSP from the Splendid Day DSP in soft colors. I cut a piece of Basic White to add my images on. I cut the half circle in Crumb Cake from Splendid Stems dies and stamped the sentiment from Hello Harvest in Soft Suede ink. I stamped the plant from the Splendid Thoughts set in Pool Party ink on the same color card stock and cut it out along with the other leaves in Copper foil and Fresh Freesia card stock from the Splendid Stems dies. I finished off with some Brushed Brass Butterflies on the top.
Hope you have a brilliant Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

Hello Falling Leaves

Yes, it is a bright card! The fall colors make me happy! I used the lovely Celebrate Everything DSP for my background. It is a large host pack of designer paper you can get free with an SU! order $180.00 or more.  I layered it with Granny Apple Green card stock and a Real Red base. I then stamped the leaves in Real Red, Crushed Curry and Granny Apple Green inks from the Hello Harvest set on white card stock and cut them out with the Rustic Pumpkin dies. I cut the white stitched circle from the Stylish Shapes dies to add the leaves. I stamped the hello sentiment from the Forever Fern set in Real red ink on white card stock and cut it with the same Shapes dies. I finished off with some yellow rhinestones.
Hope you have a fantastic Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Thinking Of Festiveness

This is the second card I designed for October card classes that I am not going to use. I was trying a different color combo with Blushing Bride, Soft Succulent and Merry Merlot but in the end I decided to go another route for my finally card. I thought you might like to see the festive card here using the returing Merriest Moments bundle and Christmas Season bundle. I used a white base and then ran a piece of Blushing Bride through the Merriest Frames embossing folder. I cut a label in white from the Seasonal Labels dies and stamped the sentiment in Merry Merlot ink from the Merriest Moments set. I added a Soft Succulent ribbon around before attaching all. I then popped up the two floral pieces stamped in Merry Merlot ink from the Merriest Moments set along with the Soft Succlent leaves stamped from the Christmas Season set. They were cut with the Merriest Frames dies and the Seasonal Labels dies. I finished with a bow and an opal round in the center of the poinsettia.
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a beautiful weekend!

Merry Chrsitmas With Candy Canes

My first Christmas card this season! I sometimes design a card for my card classes and then decide to change it. Here is one example. I designed this for classes in October with the Sweetest Christmas suite but then decided to go another route. I still like the card so showing you.
I started with a Garden Green base and cut the large background die from the Candy Canes dies in the same color to layered. I then cut a strip of the Sweetest Christmas DSP to go across. I stamped the candy canes in Real Red ink from the Sweet Candy Canes set and cut them out with the Candy Canes dies. I stamped the banner from the Christmas Banners set in Real Red ink and words in Garden Green ink and cut it out with the Christmas Banner dies. Then I cut several stems from the Christmas banner dies in Pool Party and Garden Green card stocks. It was so busy so I did not add any bling but I might before I send, you never know!
Hope you have a fun Thursday---we are having a hurricane here in Florida--what fun!
Thanks for stopping by!

PP610 Positively Abigail Rose

I grabbed my Abigail Rose suite when I saw Jaydee's sketch challenge over at this week. I layered a piece of the Abigail Rose DSP on top of a piece of Smoky Slate card stock and a Crumb Cake base. I then cut out with the Deckled Rectangle dies Smoky Slate and Very Vanilla rectangles. I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink from the Cottage Rose set on the Vanilla one. I then stamped on another piece of Very Vanilla card stock the flower and two stems in Basic Gray ink. I cut them out with the Cottage Flowers dies and colored just the center of the flower with a Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends marker. I finished off with some Very Vanilla dots.
