A Soft Friendly Hello

This next class card uses two items you can earn free from the Sale-a-bration (SAB) promotion going on right now with SU! When you spend 100.00 or more on products from SU!, you can earn the set and DSP called Friendly Hello for free!  I am casing the layout from fellow demo Amanda Pitman.  I love using the three panels of the designer paper for a taste of all three colors I am using to color the image.
I cut the DSP strips 1 5/8" by 3 7/8" and added them to piece of white card stock cut 4" by 5 1/4" then added to the Pool Party base. I ran a piece of Fresh Freesia open weave ribbon around and a tie before adhering. I used the Scalloped Contours die to cut the panel piece I stamped the image and sentiment on in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The sentiment comes as Hello Friend but I snipped the Hello and Friend apart because I will use the Hello more alone. I colored the bird with the Pool Party Stampin Blend marker, the leaves with the Granny Apple Green, the flowers in Fresh Freesia and Petal Pink and the limb in SU400. I finished it off with thesome opal rounds gems.
Thanks for stopping by!
Have an amazing weekend!

Thinking Of Honeybee Home

I did some casing for this class card from my friend and fellow Pal Michelle Quinno using the Honeybee Home bundle. I used a white base and then a piece of Misty Moonlight card stock was ran through the new Hive embossing folder. I then cut a piece of the Heart & Home DSP with the Stitched Rectangle dies. I cut about 13" of the demin ribbon to loop behind a Heart & Home doily. I stamped the floral stamp and the two honeybees with Basic Gray ink on white card stock and water colored some So Saffron ink and Misty Moonlight ink with my water color brush. I cut them along with the So Saffron stem using the Honeybee Blooms dies. Finally, I cut a So Saffron label die from the Meadow dies and stamped in Basic Gray in the sentiment from the SAB set called Special Moments.
Hope you have a lovely Thursday and thanks for stopping by!

Relax In Magenta Madness

I love black/white/hot pink together! I decided to make another class card with the In The Moment set but have the white on Magenta Madness. The image shows up better in person. I stamped in white craft ink and colored a little with the white water color pencil. I cut it out with the largest square in the Stitched Shapes dies. I stamped the sentiment in Magenta Madness on white card stock and punched it out with the Rectangle Postage Stamp punch. For the background, I started with a Basic Black base and added the white Stitched Rectangle plus a strip of Pattern Party DSP and a strip of Basic Black cut with the Basic Borders die. I then ran a piece of Polished Pink open weave ribbon around. I finished with some Black Matte dots.
Hope your Wednesday is relaxing!

Valentine's Day Card With Sweet Talk Suite

This is my Valentine's Day card for classes this month. I used the Sweet Talk suite to make this cute card and I love the purple, red and pink together. I started with the Highland Heather base and added another piece of the same color card stock I ran through the Gingham embossing folder. I cut a strip of the Sweet Talk DSP and added some Real Red faux linen ribbon down for my background. I cut the white rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies and stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink plus the X and O in Highland Heather ink from the Sweet Conversations set. I stamped the two hearts from the set on Highalnd Heather and Blushing Bride card stocks and cut them out with the Sweet Hearts dies. I also cut the red hearts from Real Red card stock and the mini envelope as well in Blushing Bride card stock.
Hope you have a sweet Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

More Relaxing In The Moment

I am using the In The Moment set again. Sometimes I will pull out a set and create several projects at one time as I have them in my head. This set is so easy to stamp and color. Here I have stamped the image in White Craft ink and then did a little coloring with my water color pencil in white on Night of Navy card stock. I added the image to a piece of Basic White cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies and stamped with the sentiment in Night of Navy ink. I added it all to a Navy base and ran some retired blue/silver twine around with a tie. I was a quick card and I like the Navy and White together.
Hope you have an awesome weekend!

Sipping In The Moment

I made this card same time as Tuesday's card using the same set, and the SAB Simply Marbleous DSP. Again, I wanted to keep this in my stash for any occasion so I did not add a sentiment to the front. I did stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with my Stampin Blends markers. I used Cherry Cobbler for the wine, Pool Party for th birds and on the glass, Misty Moonlight for the dress, SU400 and SU1000 for the skin-I colored lifted some of the dark SU400 and added the lighter on top, Crumb Cake for the hat, Smoky Slate for the table and SU300 for the hair. I then cut this out with the Stitched Shapes die and popped it on the DSP piece then a piece of Misty Moonlight card stock and a white base. I did add some Cherry Cobbler twine to pull out the pop of red from the image. I finished with some blue gems.
Hope you hav a relaxing Thursday!
