Rustic Sunflowers

I made a Z fold card with a Cajun Craze base and a piece of white card stock on the inside stamped with the sentiment from Radiant Sunflowers in Golden Glow ink and a butterfly in cajun ink. I added some Cajun Craze/gold dots. Foe the front panel, I added Cajun Craze ink to the top of the inside of my Rustic Check embossing folder and ran a Piece of white card stock through so it embossed and added the ink in cool places. I placed that on the front panel then popped my sunflowers stamped from the same set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with my Stampin Blends markers in Daffodil Delight, Golden Glow and Pebbled Path after cutting with the matching dies.
I think the embossing looks like a basket or a wall or cool designer paper!

To Say Hello With Simply Leaves

I am using similar items from yesterday's card but wanted to play with the Simply Leaves bundle today. I have a Cajun Craze base and then cut a piece of the Glow Of Harvest DSP with the Everyday Arches dies. I then punched the 1st leave with the Simply leaves punch in Golden Glow card stock then ran it through the Gathering Leaves embossing folder. I stamped the Cajun Craze leaf on white card stock and punched it out but had to hand snip the smaller leaf in Early espresso ink on white card stock. I stamped a partial sentiment from the set in Cajun Craze ink on a Triple Banner die and popped it up over a Cajun Craze strip cut from the Textured Notes dies. I finished it off with the Cajun Craze/gold dots and a double linen bow.
Hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

PP800 Thinking Of Sunflowers

I am playing along with Ann's sketch challenge this week over at thepaperplayers, blogspot, com and using some new fall goodies. I have a Cajun Craze base with a piece of the product of the month DSP called Glow Of Harvest DSP. I was able to pick it up for $5.00 this month with my order of $75.00 or more. I then added a strip of Crumb Cake card stock which I heat embossed the sentiment from the Simply Leaves stamp set in VersaMark ink and copper embossing powder. I then cut the sunflowers from the Radiant Sunflowers dies with the Golden Glow and Early Espresso card stocks. I finished with some Cajun Craze and gold dots.

Hope you have a blessed week and thanks for stopping by!

Unbridled Beauty For The Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

Welcome to our “Animal House” blog hop! This month, we’re having fun with all kinds of adorable animals, butterflies, and critters. If you’re looking for inspiration—or just a good excuse to play with your craft supplies—you’re in the right place! The Pals are sharing card ideas and paper-crafting creations featuring Stampin’ Up! products, and we hope you’ll find something that inspires you to create along with us. So, let’s get started and see what’s happening in our Animal House!

I wanted to make a fun fold and use my fav animal to make this card for my daughter. Her favorite animal is a wolf but she did use to ride horses when she was in middle school. So I used the sentiment "Sweet Memories" for her.
For this easel card, I have a Hydrangea Hue base with a piece of Gingham Gallery DSP in that color on the front top. I then cut three Everyday Arches dies in white, Hydrangea Hue and Gingham Gallery DSP in the Golden Glow color. I did use a blending brush to add some Hydrangea Hue ink to the white die and stamped the grass in Golden Glow from the Unbridled Beauty stamp set. I stamped the horse on white card stock in VersaMark ink and heat embossed with copper emboss powder. I then stamped the sentiment on Hydrangea Hue card stock in same ink and used same emboss powder to heat. I hand snipped them out. I did color the horse with Golden Glow Stampin Blends after I snipped it out.
For the inside to hold the easel up, I stamped horseshoes in Hydrangea Hue ink on a strip of the same color plus added a strip of the Gingham Gallery DSP in Golden Glow
I really love the copper embossing and the fun fold!

Keep the inspiration going! Follow the lineup below to hop through each blog and see what the Pals have created for our “Animal House” theme. We hope you’ve found plenty of ideas to inspire your own creativity!

And be sure to join us next month when we’ll be creating with an “Autumn” theme. You won’t want to miss what the Pals have in store!

Happiness Floats

Another card for my son already mailed out. He loves red, white, and blue! I have a Real Red base and a piece of white card stock ran through the Soft Waves embossing folder. I then blended Real Red and Azure Afternoon inks with the blending brushes on top. I cut a white Spotlight On Nature die to stamp the sentiment from the Splash & Relax set in Real Red ink. I then cut out the cup in white and Real Red card stocks, the sunglasses in Azure Afternoon and Basic Black card stocks and then stamped the balls in those colors as well as the float to cut with the matching dies.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend celebrating!
