Thank You In Fresh Freesia

I am playing with my new Color & Contour bundle and my fav new in color Fresh Freesia. I stamped the floral image in Evening Evergreen ink (as a new in color) as well as the sentiment on a white scallop die cut from the Scalloped Contours dies. I then two stepped with the Fresh Freesia ink and used the ink splatter stamp to add more of that same ink around. I then layered it on another die cut in Freesia and ran a knotted piece of 3/8" open weave Fresh Freesia ribbon through before adding to a white base. A few pearls finished it off. A clean and simple card today!

Thanks for stopping by and have a safe holiday remembering those who did not make it out of their uniforms fighting for our freedom!

I was excited to pull out some new items to play with for the color challenge over at global-design-project.com  I used these three new in colors along with the new Encircled In Beauty dies, the Encircled in Friendship set plus the Soft Succulent shimmer vellum paper. I started with the Pale Papaya base and added some Hand-Penned DSP down the middle. I then cut the vellum with the large die from the Encircle In Beauty dies and then the white one from the same dies. I stamped the sentiment on the white die in Evening Evergreen ink and added some of the same color 3/8" open weave ribbon behind.

Peachy Day

Today I am playing with several new products for the first time from the 2021-2022 SU! Annual Catalog. I am using a new emboss folder called Pretty Flowers in the background plus the white circle is a new die called Encircled In Beauty. And of course, the lovely Sweet As A Peach bundle. I ran the emboss folder Pretty Flowers through with a piece of Balmy Blue card stock then layered it on the Balmy Blue base. I cut the white circle die from the Encircled In Beauty dies then blended Balmy Blue ink all over but heavier in the middle with my blending brush. I then stamped the sentiment from Sweet As A Peach in Calypso Coral. I stamped the leaves in Pear Pizzazz and the peaches in Mango Melody with a bit of sponging of Calypso Coral( I did ink up the peach in Mango Melody then sponged with a sponge dauber the Calypso Coral on one side of the peach before stamping it on the white card stock). I cut the peaches and leaves out with the Peach dies. I added a white twine bow to the side to finish it off.
Hope you have a peachy day and thanks for stopping by!

I used Pool Party, Pale Papaya, Granny Apple Green and Misty Moonlight. I then stamped a floral image from Shaded Summer set in Memento Tuxedo Black over it. I added it to a piece of Misty Moonlight before layering on my background. FF0084 Happy Birthday Perennials

Another bundle soon to retire at the end of June is the Pretty Perennials bundle. I grabbed it for the festivefridaychallenge.com as I picked flowers, twine and green. I kept myself from picking dies because I wanted to use this set as a background like I was making my own designer paper! I knew I wanted to use my fav green- Granny Apple Green for the challenge so I added some fun colors to go with it. I grabbed Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink plus Early Espresso. I stamped the flowers, leaves and stems around on a piece of Basic White card stock. I layered it on the Granny Apple base and then added a strip of Granny Apple card stock across with some white twine. I then stamped the sentiment in Polished Pink from the Artistically Inked set on a white strip. I added the double twine bow and some retired glitter dots in Granny Apple Green to finish it off.
Hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

I then stamped my flamingo and flowers in Polished Pink ink with the Friendly Flamingo set and cut them with the matching Flamingo dies. I added them to the white Stitched Nested Label die. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black on a white banner. I then colored my tiny rhinestones with the black Stampin Blends marker to add to my flowers for a little bling.

GDP292 Thanks With Hydrangeas

I love playing with purple! And the Hydrangea dies and paper as well!  I am casing the lovely Susan Wong today for the challenge over at global-design-project.com I decided to use the hydrangea dies like her but change it up to my fav color- purple! I also kept her layout and twine addition. I started with a piece of Basic White that I blended Highland Heather over with my blending brush. I then stamped the dots from Artistically Inked set in Gorgeous Grape to make my background. I stamped the sentiment in same color from the same stamp set on a white Potted Succulent label die. Love this die! I then cut from the Hydrangea Hill DSP three blooms with the Hydrangea die. I also cut some Old Olive leaves with the same die set. After popping it all on my background I just had to add a white twine bow and add all to a white base to finish it off.
Hope you have a beautiful Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

FabFri213 Thinking Of Dragonflies

I thought this was a perfect time to grab some of the Dandy Garden DSP and make a Misty Moonlight card for the sketch challenge over at fabfridaystampinchallenge.blogspot.com  I used a Misty base and added the print of Dandy Garden on top after running some white/silver twine around. I then cut a white Stitched Shape square to pop my dragonfly punched from another print of the Dandy Garden paper with the Dragonflies punch. Under that dragonfly I also stamped one in Balmy Blue from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and punched out for a more 3D look but it does not show up well in photo. I then stamped the sentiment from Art Gallery in VersaMark ink on the Misty banner and heat embossed in white. I finished it off with my very last Misty Moonlight dot.

Pretty Purple Pansy For An In Color Blog Hop

Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team’s theme is “2021-2023 New In-Colors.” We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. Then, at the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

I made a fun fold card which is not really fancy. I just thought it was fun! I used a thick white piece cut at 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" and layered some of the pretty Fresh Freesia gingham print from the Pansy Petals DSP. This is my fav new 2021-2023 in color and it really is a fresh purple color. I am using 4 out of the 5 awesome new in colors- Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulents.

Here are the new 5 in colors- my friend Brian King over at stampwithbrian.com makes the best color combos and graphics...thanks Brian!

I then cut a piece of Basic White card stock 3 1/8" by 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4' to add on my base. I cut a Fresh Freesia scallop rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I added another piece of the Pansy Petals DSP cut at 2 1/2" by 3 3/4" to this die cut. I used this piece because it has all five new in colors in it. All five work so well together which does not happen often. I then cut my pieces of my pansy/leaves from the Pansy dies in white, Evening Evergreen and Pale Papaya card stocks. I then took my sponge daubers and added Fresh Freesia to the flower petals and Soft Succulent ink to the white leaves. After layering a cute pansy flower, I stamped the sentiment from the Pansy Patch set in Evening Evergreen ink on a white oval punched with the Double Oval punch. I finished of the outside with coloring a few rhinestones with my Fresh Freesia stampin blend marker and added the bling.
Inside, I stamped the the sentiment also from Pansy Patch in Fresh Freesia ink.

More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on June 9th with “Fun Ways to Use Your Stampin’ Up! Products.” Participants showcase at least one of their favorite product tips. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft space.

Potted Succulents

I was playing around with my new Potted Succulents dies today. I cut the detailed large die in Rich Razzleberry and layered it on a white base. I then cut a white die from the Tasteful Labels dies to add my pot of succulents. I stamped the images from the Simply Succulents set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with my Stampin Blends markers. The pot is colored in Cinnamon Cider, the small succulent in Rich Razzleberry, and the larger one in Soft Succulent. After cutting these with the Potted Succulents dies, I also cut the some more succulents in Just Jade card stock. I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark on a Rich Razzleberry die from the same die set and heated embossed in white. I finished it off with a iridescent pearl.

I have been hoarding a lot of this Sand & Sea DSP so pulled it out today for the sketch over at freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com  I grabbed this Flirty Flamingo print to layer on a piece of white card stock and then a Flirty Flamingo base. I then stamped the large shell on Flamingo card stock from the Friends Are Like Seashells set in VersaMark ink and heat embossed in white. I hand snipped it out. The seaweed and shells I stamped in Crumb Cake on white card stock and used the matching Seaside Seashells dies to cut out. On my stitched white square, I stamped the sand stamp in Flirty Flamingo ink and layered the shells. I then stamped the sentiment from the Art Gallery set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cut with a label die in the Potted Succulents dies. I added some opal rounds to finish it off.

Thank You Fine Art Floral

Happy Cinco De Mayo!  My card today features beautiful DSP called Fine Art Floral. I cut the lighter piece of print on the Night Of Navy base to be a frame/border and then cut this lovely floral image and there just is not much to add. I cut a piece of the lighter print with a Tasteful Labels banner die and stamped the sentiment from Tranquil Thoughts in Navy ink and added some gold dots. It was so quick but so pretty!
Hope you a wonderful Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Stamping!

I love the monochromatic look of this card as I am playing along with the challenge over at festivefridaychallenge.com this week. I choose blue (Coastal Cabana), emboss (Brick & Mortar EF), and stitching (Tasteful Labels dies).  Like my card yesterday, I used some blending with an emboss background.  However, this time I ran my white card stock piece through the Brick & Mortar folder and then blended some Coastal Cabana ink over it. I then layered it on a piece of Cabana cards tock and a white base. I stamped the floral image along with some leaves (leaves were stamped off once to make the ink lighter) from the Tranquil Thoughts set on white cards tock in Cabana ink. I cut them out with the Tranquil dies. I then stamped the sentiment from Art Gallery set in Cabana ink and cut it out with the banner die from Tasteful Labels dies. I used those same dies to cut my big label in Coastal Cabana card stock. I finished it off with some retired Cabana glitter dots. Then the centers of the flowers were just too plain and I had to add a little Pale Papaya ink from my Stampin Blends marker to them.
Hope your Tuesday is beautiful and thanks for stopping by!

I cut a 4' by 5 1/4" piece of card stock and blending some Polished Pink ink on with my blending brush and then ran it through with the Painted Texture embossing folder. I added it to a white base. I grabbed a gold hoop and layered my blooms and leaves around the right side. I also popped on a few pink rhinestones. I then stamped the sentiment from Art Gallery on white card stock in Polished Pink ink and cut it with the Floral Gallery die.
