Love You Tulips

I love the Flowering Tulips set and a chance to use some more of the Flowering Fields DSP today. I used one print for the the background layered on the Rich Razzleberry base and another print in a strip for the side. I then stamped the tulips on the white circle cut from Stylish Shapes dies. I used Rich Razzleberry, Fresh Freesia and Evening Evergreen inks. I finished off with a few Brushed Brass Butterflies.
Another sweet and simple card for today!
Thanks for stopping by!

Flowering Fields Today

Another quick card using the Flowering Fields DSP soon to retire. It makes such a gorgeous background as I layered it on a piece of Sweet Sorbet card stock and a white base. I did run some thick white twine around before adhering. I cut the banner in Sweet Sorbet with the Stylish Shapes dies. I then stamped the sentiment from Flowering Tulips set in Sweet Sorbet ink on white card stock and cut it out with the All That die.
Sweet and simple!
Hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day!
Be safe and thanks fo stopping by!

Smooshing Technique Just For You

Here is another wonderful design by Emma Goddard from the UK as part of the Brian and Emma's super awesome fun time card kits for last month. It features the smooshing technique for the background. Emma had done hers with just the Basic Gray color ink but I had to add Crushed Curry ink, too.  I then took a piece of clear acetate and added the one color of ink straight from the ink pad and then sprayed it once with water. I then smooshed around on a large clear block before laying the  acetate piece on my white background card stock. I cleaned the acetate and did the same thing with the second color of ink.  The other elelements cut in the kit were from the Ranunculus dies in white, and silver foil. I did some blending with the Curry ink on the detailed floral die. I stamped the sentiment from Celebrating You set in Basic Gray and hand snipped the strip of white card stock. A few of the Basic Gray matte dots finished it off.
Hope you have a wonderful Thursday and thanks for stopping by!

Gifts With Cup Of Tea

I posted this 4 1/4" square card a few weeks ago and here is when I used it to give a friend with a candle as a gift in a gift bag I decorated to match. I bought the gift bag in bulk on Amazon and used the Fresh Freesia gingham DSP called Pansy Petals which is now retired to add to the front of the bag. I also tied a little Fresh Freesia open weave ribbon to the handle. I cut the tea cup from the Teacup dies in Night Of Navy for the solid one and Fresh Freesia card stock for the detailed one. After layering those together, I stamped the leaves from the Cup Of Tea set in Granny Apple Green and cut them with the same die set. I added a pastel pearl to the cup to finish it off.
Hope you have a lovely Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!

Thinking Of Teacups

I love the Poppy Parade with the new in color Starry Sky. Here I grabbed some soon to retire designer paper for my Poppy Parade polka dot cup called Flowering Fields DSP.  I cut the cup from the paper with the Teacup dies as I also did for the other cup I stamped in Starry Sky ink and the stems in Old Olive ink along with the flowers in Poppy Parade ink all on white card stock. I added them to the panel of Basic White card stock I stamped with the sentiment from Season Of Chic set (love the font) in Starry Sky ink on the bottom before layering on the Tea Boutique card & envelope in Starry Sky.  I finished it off with some Starry Sky matte dots.
I have sent this to my mom to wish her a Happy Memorial Day as she loves red, white and blue together!
Have a awesome Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

In Every Way

I had some lovely flowers I colored from the Happiness Abounds set stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on white card stock colored with the Stampin Blends in Polished Pink and Sweet Sorbet that were just waiting to pop on a teacup after I cut them with the matching Blossoming Happiness dies.
I also had several leaves from the same set I colored with Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends markers. I pulled out another Tea Boutique card & envelope in Sweet Sorbet and added the piece of Basic Black and Basic White card stocks. I stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sorbet ink from the Happiness Abounds set on the bottom. I also cut some vellum from the Forever Flourishing dies to give more texture/volume. Last, all I had to do was stamp my tea cup from Cup Of Tea set in Memento Black on white card stock and cut it out with the Teacup dies and add some black matte dots.
Hope you have a beautiful Monday!
Thanks for stopping by!

Best Wishes With A Teacup

I sat down last weekend and stamped a lot of these flowers and leaves from the Happiness Abounds set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock so I could binge watch stuff and colr them with my Stampin Blends markers. I then cut them all out along with lots flowers and leaves from the designer paper with the matching dies called Blossoming Happiness. It makes it great now when I sit down like to make this card and I could grab three of the same flowers along with a few leaves ready for me to add to my teacup. I cut the teacup in Orchid Oasis card stock-both a solid one and a detailed one to overlay from the Teacup dies. I placed the cup on a white piece of card stock I had stamped with the sentiment from Happiness Abounds in black ink. I had colored my leaves in Granny Apple Green and my flowers with a mix of light Polished pink and light Flirty Flamingo blends. I popped them on my cup and added the Orchid Oasis matte dot. Then I used a Orchid Oasis card base from the Tea Boutique cards & envelopes set part of the Tea Boutique suite. You can see the matching envelope in the second photo.

Hope you enjoy your weekend and thanks for stopping by!

FF0109 and GDP343 A Happiness Birthday

I am playing along with the theme challenge over at global-design-project.com and the challenge over at festivefridaychallenge.com today with flowers, hive, bees and embossing. I really liked Sharon's layout so I cut the flowers and leaves with the Happiness Blossoming dies from the beautiful designer paper called Hues Of Happiness. I picked the two shades of blue to mix together and then added them all on the white piece of card stock ran through with the Hive 3D embossing folder. I added the background to a piece of Pool Party card stock and a Night Of Navy base.  I stamped the sentiment from the Happiness Abounds set in Night Of Navy ink on a white strip of card stock. I finished it off with a few bee trinkets I had left after they retired.
Hope you have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

PP591 A Father's Day Lighthouse

I knew when I saw house in Laurie's theme challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com that there was no other for me but a lighthouse! I decided to take the chance to make it a Father's Day card for my dad using the sentiment from He's All That set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink stamped on white card stock and cut out with the label die in the Lighthouse dies. I then cut the lighthouse pieces from Basic Black and Basic White card stock. I cut the solid and the small top peiece in black and the over lay detailed part in white. I cut a small piece of Crushed Curry card stock to go behind the top for light.
As for the background, you can my photo of the "stencil" I used cut from the Basic Borders dies in white card stock by my friend Brian King at stampwithbrian.com as part of a kit he offered. I used my blending brush to add Tahitian Tide ink on moving the stencil down several times to make clouds. I added the strip of Tahitian Tide card stock for water and put all on a Basic Black base. My finishing touch was to add black matte dots to the sentiment label.
Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!

I cut the detailed argyle pieces in navy from the All That dies and glued them down the side for texture. I then stamped the image in Night Of Navy ink on white card stock and cut with the AllThat dies.

I cut a strip of white card stock and stamped the twice in Pool Party ink for the sky and with another stamp used Coastal Cabana ink for the water. I then grabbed the light house stamp and used Smoky Slate ink stamped on a piece of white card stock and two stepped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink for the stripes. I cut it out with the matching dies called Lighthouse dies. I also stamped the light in Crushed Curry and cut it, too. I stamped the sentiment on white in Black ink and cut it with the same dies. PP590 A Thank You Teacup

My first play with the Cup Of Tea bundle I wanted to make a cute little square card for a friend and Joanne's color combo for thepaperplayers.blogspot.com was perfect. I started with a 4 1/4" square base in Basic White card stock. I added the just retired Fresh Freesia gingham print from Pansy Petals DSP for the background. I stamped the tea cup in Night Of Navy ink on a white card stock piece and then stamped the leaves in Granny Apple Green plus the mini flowers in Fresh Freesia ink. I cut these out with the matching Teacup dies. I also stamped the little tea bag in Freesia ink and cut it with those dies then added it with a piece of white twine to the cup. I popped it all on the background and placed a few rhinestones on the flowers and by the cup. I stamped the sentiment in Navy ink on a piece of white card stock and cut it out with the All That dies. Love this little oval die!
It turned out so cute!

Starry Night & Tahitian Tide For The Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the theme is New 2022-2024 In Colors. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

I love to water color an image as well as a background. Here I decide to water color a panel for the background with the new Starry Night ink color and my water painter. I wet the water color paper and added the ink at the top and then added more water for it to run down and make its design.
When dry, I added it to the Basic White strip and the background in Starry Night card stock embossed with the Fern 3D embossing folder. All was added to a white base.
I stamped the large stem from the Nature's Print set in Starry Night ink and then colored it in with my Tahitian Tide Stampin Blend marker. I then cut it out with the matching dies called Natural Prints dies along with some other stems in white and Starry night card stock.
I stamped the sentiment from the set in Tahitian Tide ink on a white label cut from the same dies. I finished it off with some Classic white matte dots.
Starry Night and Tahitian Tide are just two of the wonderful new in colors around for 2 years. I have not decied on a fav but love making new color combos with all of them.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on June 8th. Our theme will be “CASE the Catalog” when our Design Team creates a project found in the new Annual Catalog and CASE it with their own creative twist.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.

New Horizons With Prints

I love playing with the Nature's Prints bundle and though it is gorgoeus in the blue hues featured in the annual catalog and with the Sun Prints DSP, I am enjoying finding new shades to create with this bundle.
Here, I decided on my own color combo to make it bright. I grabbed Polished Pink, Mango Melody and the new Parakeet Party. I also used a piece of New Horizon DSP for the background which I layered on a strip of white card stock and a Polished Pink base.
I then stamped the images in my three colors and cut a few white and Mango Melody card stock pieces with the matching dies called Natural Prints dies. I then stamped the sentiment in Polished Pink ink from the set on white card stock and cut it out with the label die from the same die set. I added the stems/images cut out behind my sentiment and popped on some matte white dots to finished it off.
Thanks for stopping by and have a bright day today!

Happiness Abounds Birthday

I am in love with these whole Hues Of Happiness suite. You get a lovely stamp set called Happiness Abounds with great images for coloring as well as awesome dies called Blossoming Happiness dies plus the designer paper is gorgeous. You can use the dies to cut out images in the designer paper which I have done here.
I cut four flowers plus leaves all from the designer paper called Hues Of Happiness and popped them up on a piece of white card stock I cut with the detailed die in the die set. I added this to the piece of DSP and a white base. I love how the colors of the DSP show through.
Before adding the white to the rest of the card I did stamp the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink from the Happiness Abounds set. I finished up with a few Gorgeous Grape pastel pearls.
I could make this card all day!
Hope you have a happy Monday and thanks for stopping by!

This color challnge over at global-design-project.com this week gave me another chance to pull out the adored Seas The Day bundle and combine it with the Oceanfront and Paradise Palms sets. Happy Stamping!

Hi, I have been out of town and now back with a Two For Tuesday for you! The first card was designed by my sweet friend Brian King at stampwithbrian.com  He designed it and then cut all the pieces for me to make along with other cards for a kit called Super-Awesome Fun Time card kit and this one has a baby wipe technique. This tech uses a wet baby wipe waded up and dipped in one or more colors of ink pads to create a background. I used the new Parakeet Party and Flirty Flamingo inks on a panel of white card stock. I then stamped the dragonflies from the Crane Of Fortune set in Parakeet Party ink and the sentiment from the same set in Soft Suede ink on the white background. I then layered it with a piece of Parakeet Party card stock and a Flirty Flamingo base. I stamped the crane on white card stock in Flirty ink and cut it with the matching dies called Good Fortune dies. A few rhinestones finish it off.
Be looking for Brian's next kit middle of this month on his blog stampwithbrian.com   It was super-awesome and I will be sharing more cards with you soon.
Thanks for stopping by!
