Butterflies On My Mind

Another quick card using the Butterfly Bijou DSP both for the background print and the cut butterfly.

I used the beautiful print of the Bijou DSP layered on a piece of Bermuda Bay card stock and a Magenta Madness base. I then cut the butterfly from another print of the DSP with the Brilliant Wings dies and popped it on a Stitched Oval white oval.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Simply Succulents set on a white strip in Magenta Madness ink. I finished off with some pink rhinestones.

Blended Butterflies

 

Quick card by stamping the background white card stock with the Butterfly Brilliance set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the blending colors on with the blending brush. I used Polished Pink, Bermuda Bay and Pale Papaya. I then layered it on a Polished Pink base. I cut a strip of Basic Black card stock to add across the background. I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Succulents set and punched it with the Polished Pink scallop from the Double Oval punch. I finished with some black matte dots.

PP538 Ice Cream Treat

 

I need to use more of this DSP and I already had the ice cream stamped and punched so I thought it was great for this awesome sketch by Claire over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com   I used a white base and added two different prints from Ice Cream Corner DSP then ran a strip of Blackberry Bliss thru with the Wrapped In Texture embossing folder. I cut a rectangle in white and added the stamped ice cream scoops from Sweet Ice Cream set in Bermuda Bay and Blackberry Bliss inks. I added the sentiment on the bottom. I punched the cone from another DSP print with the Ice Cream Cone builder punch. I finished off with a Blackberry Bliss 3/8" striped ribbon bow and some gold dots.

Ombre Butterfly Hello

 

Just got to love this ombre butterfly background paper from the Butterfly Bijou DSP pack. I just had to add it to a So Saffron base and pop a butterfly cut from the same paper pack withe Brilliant Wings dies and add some Pool Party sheer ribbon behind. I added a almost hidden little hello on top of the right of the butterfly on a strip of Whisper white stamped in pool Party ink from the Free As A Bird set. 

Really fast and easy card!

FabFri212 Flamingo Mother's Day

 

My mother and I do not have much in common but we both do love our flamingo birds. I collect flamingo stuff and love my flamingo stamp sets. She has a few flamingo things and loves when I send her a flamingo card. So when I was getting ready to make my Mother's Day card this weekend, I saw the color challenge over at fabfridaystampinchallenge.blogspot.com and had to use for my card since they are perfect colors. I stamped the flamingo in Flirty Flamingo ink from the Friendly Flamingo set on white card stock along with the tropical floral bunch in Old Olive ink. I also stamped two long vines in Soft Seafoam ink and two flowers in Terracotta Tile ink. These were all cut with the matching Flamingo dies. I took the white background and blended some Soft Seafoam over it with my blending brush. I stamped the sentiment in Terracotta tile ink and layered my images. After adding to the Flirty Flamingo base, I finished it off with some opal rounds on the vines.

Butterfly Pizza Gift Box

 

I felt like playing around with a 3D object today! I grabbed a mini pizza box and while flat I sprayed it Bermuda Bay. I used a spritzer to add some rubbing alcohol and 5 drops of Bermuda Bay ink to spray my color. It dries really fast. I folded the box together and added a piece of the Butterfly Bijou DSP on top. I then cut a butterfly from the same DSP with the matching dies and added it to a white oval die then placed some 3/8" sheer Pool Party ribbon behind. I stamped a sentiment on a strip in Bermuda Bay ink from the Itty Bitty Greetings set. I added rhinestone to the butterfly to finish it off.

Cherish Dragonfly

 

I wanted to use some more of my Dandy Garden DSP before it retires in June. I grabbed the print which I can punch out a dragonfly to get this Calypso Coral one. I also punched two small ones with the Dragonflies punch from the other side of that same DSP print. I then added the Coral print of DSP to a white piece of card stock and ran some white ribbon around before layering on the Blackberry Bliss base. I cut the stitched square from Stitched Shapes dies in white and then layered on a Blackberry Bliss one. I popped up on dragonfly after stamping the sentiment in Bliss ink from Etched In Nature-a new set coming in the SU! 2021-2022 annual catalog on May 4th. I finished off with some holiday rhinestones in Pumpkin Pie.
