GDP012 Sleigh Ride

I really like the size of this card..mine is a 4 1/4" square of Cherry Cobbler. 

I choose to case the colors and layout and theme this week.

I stamped the snow falling in Pool Party

 and happen to have a sleigh already cut off

 a piece of Whisper White I used for the hill. 

 I can use this card for a thank you after Christmas!

 a little with Real Red and Cucumber Crush

 plus Delightful Dijon for the star.

  I just finished the shaker card kit and they used

 Real Red and Cucumber Crush together 

so I had those colors on my mind when

 designed this card!

I want to use the dove more so it was the first stamp I thought of for this sketch.  I decided to try to heat emboss gold on Night of Navy card stock...was surprised how beautiful it turned out.  I have been hoarding some of this designer series paper but really needed to cut it!

Well, I have been hoarding this vellum paper but glad I was able to use for this sketch!  Thought it was perfect to show the Holiday Fancy Foil vellum off and I choose to use some different sized circles, too!   A cute tree with a banner was just enough!

PP271 Snow Way!

Snow Way!  It's Christmas already?  This is how I feel! 

This was another card from a class this past week. 

 I embossed the Crumb Cake card stock with the Woodland emboss folder then sponged with Whisper White craft ink for a frosty forest.

  I used the Sleigh Ride edgelits to make the snow (cutting off the trees from the edgelit).

Pals Swap Card For Tampa Onstage Local

Christmas Mini Magazine Holders

These are just a few of the mini magazine holders I created for my guest to take home their Christmas cards from my classes this past week!

I used lots of retired DSP and some colors, too. I did stamp a tree from Peaceful Pines and used some great glimmer paper all cut with the Perfect Pines framelits dies.

PPA275 Thanks To You!

I decided to let the Designer Series Papers do the talkin' this week!  I went with some angles so looks like crooked but I love how it is not straight on and looks a little like a wrapped gift!  I have been hoarding my rimmed pearls and so this is the first time I let a couple go!

Also, this was my last little scrap of Tangelo Twist.  I usually do not use this color so I never bought more than the assortment pack had in it. But I have used it some in the last month so may buy more in the spring!

GDP010 Black & Gold Specialty Card

I love the squares and wanted to use some of my Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP again.  I like how the ornament looks with the Black glimmer paper. I decided to not add a sentiment so I can use it as a thank you or add a holiday message.

I know the Softly Falling emboss folder does not show up 

well in the black for the photo here but it looks awesome in person!

PP270 Happy Golden Birthday To Tina!

Inside before I penned a message 

I desined this gate fold card for my fiend and downline, Tina Johnson.  It is her golden birthday so I was excited when I saw this color challenge and could combine my birthday card and the color challenge.

I started with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" peice of Basic Black card stock and scored it at 2 1/8' and 6 3/8" on the 8 1/2" side.  

I used some wonderful Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP both outside and inside the card.  I like how the inside turned out to look like a mirror but it was not planned!

Dazzling Trees

Last card for class this week!

I cased this card from a card I received at an SU! demo event in Atlanta last month from Colleen Dewey.

 When I showed it my customers, they loved it and wanted to make this card this month in class. 

 With the trees from the Wonderland set, I stamped off once with Soft Suede 

and stamped them again with Smoky Slate.

  I stamped them again in Versamark ink and used heat

 and stick powder which forms an adhesive for the Dazzling Diamonds I used.  

It sounds hard but was very quick...just lots of cleaning the trees!

 I sponged Soft Suede ink on Whisper White organza ribbon.

Merry Christmas Snowmen!

Happy Snowmen...love them!  This was a fun card probably because I really liked "decorating" the snowmen! Gotta love all the matching dies which make it easy!  This is the 4th card for my Nov. class this week.  Hope the guest will have as much fun as I did deciding what to dress the snowmen. I used the Sleigh Ride thinlits die with the trees to cut the white piece for bottom.  I just snipped the trees off and ready to go for snow!

These colors just called leaves to me!

  I stamped the leaves in Crushed Curry and then used a sponge dauber

 to sponge some Calypso Coral and Chocolate Chip

 before stamping on Whisper White card stock.
