I thought this large leaf image would look lovely in Lost Lagoon ink for Joanne's clean and simple one image challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com this week. I stamped it from the Nature's Prints set in the returning color Lost Lagoon on a piece of white card and cut it out with the matching Natural Prints dies. I popped it on a piece of white card stock cut/embossed with the Stitched With Whimsy dies. I then stamped the sentiment from same set and ink on a white circle punched with the 1 3/4" circle punch. I added some clear milky gloss dots on before adding all to the Lost Lagoon base.
Hope you have a lovely Monday and thanks for stopping by!
Windy

Gorgeous! Just goes to show you don't need a ton of supplies to create a beautiful card! The embossing and gloss dots add a lot of interest while still keeping it CAS! Thanks for playing with our challenge this week at the Players!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great example of a CAS card Windy - your single leaf steam makes for a great focal point, preserving all that white space and the dots and stitched detail add interest without overwhelm. Perfect! Thanks for playing along with my CAS challenge over at The Paper Players this week!
ReplyDeleteWindy, This is a great CAS card. I really like the felicate edging and the dots. They add just enough support to your strong image. Thanks for taking part in The Paper Players challenge. Suzy
