Totally Awesome Waves

This is my first play with the Waves of the Ocean collection and I am hooked. I love any ocean/beach themed collection of products and this does not disappoint!  Plus this sentiment is the best...love it!
I grabbed this print of DSP and added it to a Pacific Point base after running a little linen thread around. I cut a white circle with my Layering Circles dies and stamped the sentiment from the Waves Of Inspiration set in Night Of Navy ink. I popped it up on my background then added the double linen thread bow. I stamped the pelican twice in Pacific Point ink and cut them with the matching dies called Waves dies. I finished it off with the blue (Pacific Point) rhinestones that are part of the collection.
This collection in cludes the set, dies, DSP, foil paper in two blues and a silver plus a package of several color rhinestones that match the DSP.
Hope you have a awesome day!
Thanks for stopping by!

PP581 Spring Blessings

You have to love a spring theme! I think of fresh colors and flowers so for Jaydee's theme challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com today, I grabbed some gingham paper and a pretty flower set. For the DSP, I have been hoarding this Pale Papaya print from the Pansy Petals DSP pack. I added to a piece of white card stock and the a Pale Papaya base after running some Pale Papaya sheer ribbon around. I added the knot on the side. I cut a white Scalloped Contours die and stamped in Basic Gray ink the sentiment from Blessings Of Home set. I also used the small floral bunch from that set to stamp on a piece of Basic White card stock in Basic Gray ink and colored with my Stampin Blends markers in Pale Papaya, Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaron and Fresh Freesia. I cut it out with the matching die from Flowers Of Home dies along with some stems in Pale Papaya card stock. I finished it off with some Pale Papaya gems. I like stamping the Basic Gray ink to give a more soft look to my card.
Hope you have a Beautiful Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

A Little Paradise

I started with my white circle cut with the Layering Circle dies and then blended Mango Melody, Highland Heather and Blackberry Bliss inks with my blending brush. I stamped the palm trees from the Paradise Palm set in Memento Tuxedo Black on white card stock and cut them out with the Palms dies along with Basic Black card stock to go behind for a shadow. I also stamped the sentiment from that set in same ink and punched out with the Double Oval punch. I cut the large palm tree and grass in black with the same dies. I layered all on a Highland Heather card stock and a Blackberry Bliss base.
I finished off with some black matte dots.
Hope you have a relaxing week and thanks for stopping by!

PP580 Spring Daffodil

A great sketch from Anne Marie this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com gave me a chance to use my new bunde called Daffodil Daydream.  I grabbed some Pansy Petals DSP and layered it on the white base. I then cut a Mint Macaron Scalloped Contours die and ran a strip of white card stock through the Hive 3D embossing folder. I stamped on white card stock the daffodil from the Daffodil Daydream set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored it with my Stampin Blends markers in Just Jade, Daffodil Delight and Pale Papaya. I cut it out with the matching die from the Daffodil dies.
I stamped the sentiment in black ink from the Timeless Tulips set on a white Ornate Frames label die.
I finished it off with some Brushed Brass Butterflies.
Hope you have beautiful weekend!

Spring Boxes For Class

I made these boxes for my guest in card classes this week to carry home their cards. I try to use retired card stock I have left over and here I grabbed some Pineapple Punch card stock that retired a few years ago since it was perfect for spring. I then looked through my designer paper and found that the Hand-Penned DSP work well with it. I cut the panels of DSP to attached to the box and then cut a matching die from this suite from the Penned Flowers dies in Misty Moonlight card stock. I stamped the sentiment from Flowering Rain Boots set in Misty Moonlight ink on white card stock and cut it out with the Stitched Shapes dies in a circle. I finsied off with some retired colored rhinestones.

For the box, you can see my friend Samm Hammond Donald aka Pootles.co.uk make them here plus directions.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

In Full Bloom With Rain Boots

This is the last card for card classes this week with the Flowering Rain Boots bundle.  I did make a card similar to this a few weeks back and decided I love it for class. I did change the sentiment and what die I cut it with for this card. I stared with a Fresh Freesia base and added a panel of white and Gorgeous Grape. On the white panel, I stamped the stems across in Granny Apple Green ink. I then used one blending brush to blend on Pool Party ink for the sky and Granny Apple Green ink for the grass with another brush.  On another of white card stock I stamped the boots in Gorgeous Grape ink, the stems in Granny Apple Green ink and the tulips in Fresh Freesia ink. I cut them with the matching Rain Boots dies. I popped them up on my scene. I then stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink from the same set on a piece of white card stock and cut it out with the Tasteful Labels dies. I finsihed it off with a iridescent rhinestone on the die.
Hope you have a lovely Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!

Spring Bunny

This is my Easter card for classes this week using the Easter Friends set along with the Stitched Greenery die for the background. I cut Mint Macaron card stock and ran it through the die with actually embosses the card stock and then layered it on the white base. I then cut a white panel at 2 3/4" by 5 3/8" and stamped my bunny from the Easter Friends set in Gray Granite ink. I then stamped the grass in Mint Macaron ink before stamping the chick in Gray Granite ink. I took a sponge dauber and blended some Mint Macaron on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the sentiment from the same set in Soft Suede ink. I stamped Happy Easter inside but did not get a photo. I added some color to the cheeks of bunny with a Lt Petal Pink Stampin Blends and then a little Lt So Saffron ink on the chick plus some Lt Pumpkin Pie on the beak. I ran some Mint Macaron gingham ribbon around before attached the back and added a bow. I also added a few Brushed Brass Butterflies to complete my scene.
Hope you have a sweet day and thanks for stopping by!
