PP174 Evergreen Challenge

The Paper Players Challenge this week: Evergreen.  I wanted to make a card with this tree in gold because I have made several in silver.  I started to go gold and red but then thought blue and gold can live together, too!  Used some retired DSP and sponged in gold for a shiny but also softer effect on the Island Indigo.
Enjoy your Monday and thanks for stopping by!
Windy

Stamp Set: Special Season
Paper: Island Indigo, Whisper White, Festival of Prints(retired)
Ink: Island Indigo and Encore Gold
Pearls, Oval framelits dies, Apothecary Accents framelits dies

  1. Very pretty...what a stunning color combination! I always do blue & silver, but you have shown that blue & gold are just as beautiful! Thanks for sharing this with us and playing with my Paper Players Evergreen challenge this week!

  2. I agree...blue and gold are just as pretty together! the deep shade of Island Indigo is perfect for the regal look of the gold. Great use of that die too and love the pearls! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!

  3. Beautiful card, Windy! I love how you cropped off the bottom of the die cut piece to fit your layout, and the scalloped oval behind. Thanks for playing along this week with The Paper Players!
