I am playing along with the challenge over at festivefridaychallenge.com picking sport (sailing), encouragement, and fancy fold. I made a Joy Fold card with Misty Moonlight base at 11" by 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2" then I cut the front panel in half. I added a piece of white card stock to the inside and then cut a white panel for the front half. I stamped the front panel in Misty Moonlight ink with the rope image several times from the Sailing Home set. I blended Coastal Cabana ink over with the blending brush.
Next, I cut a piece of So Saffron card stock at 3" by 7 1/12" and scored at 3 3/4". I added a white piece inside it and then glues to the inside of my base. I cut a rope from the Smooth Sailing dies in Misty Moonlight card stock to add. For the front of the So Saffron piece, I cut a white panel and made my sailing scene. I blended the Coastal Cabana ink on the bottom and the So Saffron top. I stamped the Misty Moonlight inked sentiment from same set. I also stamped the boats on white card stock and cut with matching dies.
Hope your day is smooth sailing and thanks for stopping by!
