Wonderful Time Of The Year

I made this for a friend who loves purple like me using the Tiding & Trimmings bundle. I used a Gorgeous Grape base and a piece of Basic White card stock for the background. I blended some Fresh Freesia ink on the white card stock with my blending brush. I then stamped a stocking in Fresh Freesia ink on white card stock and another in Gorgeous Grape ink from the Tidings & Trimmings set and cut them out with the matching Christmas Trimmings dies. I also stamped a bow in Grape ink and some sprigs in Just Jade ink and cut them out, too. I stamped a few small stars on the background in Grape ink and the sentiment in Just Jade ink. I finished off with a gold foil star also cut from the dies.
Hope you have a fun Tuesday & last day of November!

I stamped the sentiment on white card stock from the Peaceful Deer set in Evening Evergreen ink and cut it with the label die from Seasonal Labels dies. I finished it off with a few rhinestones.

Peppermint Kisses Christmas Crackers

I have made these before with a fall theme but this time is it a Christmas cracker with the Gingerbread & Peppermint suite. I am linking the awesome Sam Hammond Donald aka Pootles at pootles.co.uk  You can see her creation and directions here.
I used the Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP along with the Real Red mini ruffled ribbon tied on the ends.
I stamped the sentiment from the Frosted Gingerbread stamp set in Real Red ink and punched it with the label punch. I then cut the peppermints from the designer paper to pop on the label with a red rhinestone in the middle for a little bling.
These are filled with Hersey's kisses. I know there are peppermint flavor kisses but I could not find them in time.

Peace Deer Tags For Gift Bags

I always have bags or boxes for my guests to carry home their creations from class. This month I wanted to give them a bag with a tag to use for the holidays. They can choose to leave on bag and give or use the tag on a gift. I stamped on the Tailor Made Tag cut in white card stock with the Peaceful Deer stamp set. I did the stars in Bumblebee ink and the the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink. I then punched the Peaceful Prints DSP(which was free a few months ago with SAB) with the Label Me Lovey punch. I either hand snipped the deer from the DSP or used the punch depending on which diection he was facing. Some Old Olive/Pretty Peacock ribbon to tie it with a quick knot from some linen trim. They were fast and easy to make.
Hope you have a fun day and thanks for stopping by!

A Christmas Poinsettia For The Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “Home for the Holidays”. We really hope that you enjoy and are inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

My Home For The Holidays project is a card with the lovely Poinsettia Petals bundle. This set and dies were featured last year in the holiday catalog and I was so glad it carried over to the annual catalog this year.
I made my card with the standard A2 shape/size but just cut the top off a little to reveal the sentiment from the inside. I got the idea from Debbie over at stampsnstuff.org  I cut the base in Cherry Cobbler card stock 4 1/4" by 11" then scored at 5 1/2" like always but then cut 1 1/4" off the top flap. For the outside flap, I cut a piece of Old Olive card stock in a 4" square. I also cut a white piece in 3 7/8" square. I ran a piece of the gold ribbon around bedore attaching. I cut and embossed at same time the poinsettias in Cherry Cobbler card stock in three sizes to layer with the Poinsettia dies. I also used the dies to cut the center in gold foil along with the fillers. I then stamped the leaves and the berries in Memento Tuxedo Black ink from the Poinsettia Petals set on white card stock and colored them with the Stampin Blends markers in Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler. They were also cut with the Poinsettia dies.
For the inside, I cut a piece of Old Olive at 4" by 5 1/4" and a piece of basic white at 3 7/8" by 5 1/8". I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals set in Cherry Cobbler ink.

My guests will be making this card next week for my November Christmas card class. Hope they love it!

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on December 8th. Our theme will be “My Favorite Things” with our design team showcasing some of their favorite products from any catalog they choose.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.
