PP754 Fall Doughnuts

I am playing along with Ann's food theme challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com and using a bundle i love called More Than Autumn! I decided doughnuts were in order but in some fall/new in colors! I have a Timid Tiger base and a piece of black card stock layered with a piece of the Timid Tiger in color DSP. I then cut two Branching Out label dies in white and black card stocks. I blending some Peach Pie ink on the white one and layered my doughnuts stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and colored with the Stampin Blends in Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger, Darling Duckling, Peach Pie and Crumb Cake. I cut them out with the matching dies and stamped the sentiments in black ink on white and hand snipped them out. I cut the leaves with another print of the Timid Tiger in color DSP and Pumpkin Pie card stock. I finished with sparkle dots in black and the black/vanilla 3/8" large check ribbon in a double bow. I did cut the ribbon in half to make it thinner.
This card is already on its way to my girl at school! Can't wait to see her in a few weeks!
Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

  2. This is just adorable! I love doughnuts in ANY color! I just read an article where they called doughnuts "sinkers"!!! I guess they could "sink" into a cup of coffee or tea! Anyway, your card is adorable! Love images and elements! Thanks for sharing this with us at the Paper Players!

  4. This is SO cute, Windy! Your fall doughnuts certainly look yummy. I love doughnuts in any season, but fall is my favorite, when I pair up powdered sugar donuts with apple cider. This is such a great layout. All of the details really make this card stand out. I know you daughter will love it. Thank you for playing in my challenge at The Paper Players this week!
