Thinking Of Festiveness

This is the second card I designed for October card classes that I am not going to use. I was trying a different color combo with Blushing Bride, Soft Succulent and Merry Merlot but in the end I decided to go another route for my finally card. I thought you might like to see the festive card here using the returing Merriest Moments bundle and Christmas Season bundle. I used a white base and then ran a piece of Blushing Bride through the Merriest Frames embossing folder. I cut a label in white from the Seasonal Labels dies and stamped the sentiment in Merry Merlot ink from the Merriest Moments set. I added a Soft Succulent ribbon around before attaching all. I then popped up the two floral pieces stamped in Merry Merlot ink from the Merriest Moments set along with the Soft Succlent leaves stamped from the Christmas Season set. They were cut with the Merriest Frames dies and the Seasonal Labels dies. I finished with a bow and an opal round in the center of the poinsettia.
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a beautiful weekend!

Merry Chrsitmas With Candy Canes

My first Christmas card this season! I sometimes design a card for my card classes and then decide to change it. Here is one example. I designed this for classes in October with the Sweetest Christmas suite but then decided to go another route. I still like the card so showing you.
I started with a Garden Green base and cut the large background die from the Candy Canes dies in the same color to layered. I then cut a strip of the Sweetest Christmas DSP to go across. I stamped the candy canes in Real Red ink from the Sweet Candy Canes set and cut them out with the Candy Canes dies. I stamped the banner from the Christmas Banners set in Real Red ink and words in Garden Green ink and cut it out with the Christmas Banner dies. Then I cut several stems from the Christmas banner dies in Pool Party and Garden Green card stocks. It was so busy so I did not add any bling but I might before I send, you never know!
Hope you have a fun Thursday---we are having a hurricane here in Florida--what fun!
Thanks for stopping by!

I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink from the Cottage Rose set on the Vanilla one. I then stamped on another piece of Very Vanilla card stock the flower and two stems in Basic Gray ink. I cut them out with the Cottage Flowers dies and colored just the center of the flower with a Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends marker. I finished off with some Very Vanilla dots.

Here For You With Texture Chic

I am trying to use some more of my memories & more cards for the Texture Chic suite. I layered a card on a piece of Mango Melody card stock and a white base here. I cut a strip of Mango Melody card stock to go across and then cut from the Stylish Shapes dies three circles. First one from another print on a card in green, then from Mango card stock and last a white circle where I stamped in Soft Succulent ink a sentiment from Season Of Chic set. I cut four leaves in white card stock from the Chic dies and blended some Soft Succulent ink on them with my blending brush. I added a few Soft Succulent gems to finish it off.
Hope you have a lovely and chic day!
Thnaks for stopping by!

Blessings With Hello Harvest

I was attempting a wreath in my head but quickly saw it was not going to be so perfectly round. But I still stamped the floral image from Hello Harvest three times on my white card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored it with my Stampin Blends markers in Mango Melody, Soft Suede, Soft Succulent, and Calypso Coral. I layered the white on a piece of Mango Melody card stock and a Soft Succulent base. I then stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink on a piece of Soft Succulent card stock cut with the Stylish Shapes dies. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I finished it off with a few Soft Succelent gems.

A Chic Here For You

I had some of these elelemts cut or embossed already and not used on a project so decided to combine for a lovely chic card. I have used a Soft Succulent base and then added the Soft Succulent piece ran through with the retired Subtles embossing folder on top. I grabbed a card from my Season Of Chic memories and more pack for the middle. I had the gold specialty paper detailed die already cut so added it on. I cut three leaves from the Chic dies in Basic White card stock and colored them with my blending brushes and Soft Succulent plus Mango Melody inks. I stamped the sentiment from the Season Of Chic set in Evening Evergreen ink on a white Stylish Shapes square die. I finished it off with some Soft Succulent gems for more bling.
Hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Thinking Of Aspen Trees

I finally used my Aspen Tree dies today for a lovely fall card! I started with my background. I cut a piece of Basic White and used my blending brushes to add three colors- Merry Merlot to the top, Cajun Craze in the middle and Sweet Sorbert on the bottom (which I covered up a lot). I added this to the Merry Merlot base. I really like Merry Merlot but do not use it often enough. I had a piece of Soft Suede card stock which I had rounded the corners but did not end up using on a project so cut the trees from the large die in the Aspen Tree dies. I also used those dies to cut the Cajun Craze leaves bunch and the large leaf in Merry Merlot and the baby leave in Sweet Sorbet. I stamped the sentiment from the Season Of Chic set in Merry Merlot on a Stylish Shapes stitched banner die in Basic White.
I finsihed it off with a few metallic dots.
I hope you have a beautiful Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!

I cut in to make tabs and I cut the retired DSP from last season 3.75" x 4.5".  I stamped the sentiment from the Hello Harvest set in Early Espresso ink on a white Deckled Rectangle die cut. Wishes With Fond Of Autumn

For my last fall class card this week, I used the lovely Fond Of Autumn bundle. I grabbed a Soft Succulent base and then cut another piece of the same color to run through the Timber embossing folder. I added some Soft Succulent open weave ribbon around before attaching. I cut a Deckled Rectangle white panel to add my image. I stamped the sentiment in Soft Succulent ink from the Fond Of Autumn set on the white die cut. I then stamped the large image from the Fond Of Autumn set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock but did not color or cut out the flowers in that image. I did cut and color the leaves, berries and acorns with the Autumn Bouquet dies and my Stampin Blends markers in light Soft Succulent, light Petal Pink, Ivory, dark Crumb Cake, and SU300. I popped them up on the white die and added some rustic metallic dots. I finished by adding a bow to the ribbon.
Hope you have a wonderful Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Hugs For Splendid Day

I am doing a little casing from my friend Brian King at stampwithbrian.com (see here) and Rae Jean Communal at mystampinmemories.blogspot.com (see here) today for my fourth card for fall card classes coming up next week.
I used Rae Jean's layout by cuttting the gorgeous Splendid Day DSP into strips. I used four different prints but even the opposite sides are gorgeous, too. I layered them unevenly on the white piece of card stock and added all to the Crumb Cake base. I case Brian's layout when I then cut a white panel and started adding my die cuts. I stamped the large plant leaves in Soft Sea Foam ink on Soft Sea Foam card stock from the Splendid Thoughts set. I cut it out with the Splendid Stems dies along with a Fresh Freesia stem and a copper foil one. I then stamped the sentiment from the set on the Crumb Cake "pot" in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The half circle or "pot" was cut from the same dies. I stamped the bee on white card stock also in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cut with same dies after adding a little So Saffron ink from my Stampin Blends marker.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Abigail Rose Birthday

I love working with the Abigail Rose suite and was happy to use it for my third card for fall card class. I wanted to use some darker shades for fall so I stamped the larger floral image from the Cottage Rose set in Soft Suede ink on Very Vanilla card stock and then cut it out with the matching dies called Cottage Flowers. I used a Early Espresso base and ran the Very Vanilla panel of card stock through the Timeworn Type embossing folder. I used my blending brush with Petal pink ink to add some color to my flower and to rub lightly over the embossing on the card stock. I added the strip of designer paper called Abigail Rose before popping on my floral image. I stamped the sentiment on Petal Pink card stock in Soft Suede ink and cut it out with the Stitched Rectangle dies.I finished with some linen thread used behind the sentiment before popping up on the card.
Hope you have a beautiful Thursday and thanks for stopping by!

Lovelist Day For A Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the theme is Focus on the Sentiment. Our Design Team are showcasing a sentiment as the focal point of their project. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals share with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

I have been trying to decide when I would be able to use the large sentiment with banner from the Hello Harvest bundle on a card and this month's focus on the sentiment seemed the perfect time to use it for a fall card. I just had to heat emboss it, of course!  I grabbed the VersaMark ink and stamp it on the Early Espresso card stock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I cut it out along with my leaves and pumpkins with the Rustic Pumpkin dies. For the leaves, I just stamped them in Granny Apple Green ink on Basic White card stock. The pumpkins were stamped in Early Espresso ink three times on white card stock and colored with the Stampin Blends markers.  First pumpkin in Dark Pale Papaya and Light Pumpkin Pie, second in Light Mango Melody and Light Daffodil Delight. For the third, I used both light and dark Poppy Parade. I colored the stems in Soft Suede.
I added all on the fun wood print from the Celebrate Everything DSP which is a host selection in the SU! 2022-2023 annual catalog. I finished with an Early Espresso base and some gold dots for bling.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a lovely day!

Grateful For Cottage Wreaths

My second card for fall card classes turned out really well mostly because I love these colors together.
I used the new Cottage Wreaths bundle plus some Celebrate Everything DSP (free with SU! host rewards). I started with the white base and layered on Crushed Curry card stock plus Blackberry Bliss and the Crushed Curry plaid designer paper. I then stamped the wreath in Gray Granite ink then the two larger leaves in Blackberry Bliss ink all on white card stock. I cut them out with the Country Wreaths dies along with a few leaves in Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze card stocks. I cut the bow from gold metallic secialty paper with same dies. I then stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss on white card stock and cut it alongwith the Blackberry Bliss card stock banner behind with the All That dies.
I will give some gold dots for guest for class to add if they want more bling or to add "berries" on the wreath.
Hope you have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!
