CTS375 Thank You Forever Greenery

CTS_375

I used the Forever Greenery suite
for the sketch challenge card today over at
casethissketch.blogspot.com
I did a little casing from my friend Brian King who is also
a designer over at Case This Sketch.
I stated with the Just Jade base and added a layer
of Whisper White before the Forever Greenery print
for a background. I cut the label die in Just Jade
from the Tasteful Labels dies. I then stamped the leaves
from the Forever Fern stamp set on Whisper White
in Pear Pizzazz and Shaded Spruce inks.
I cut them with the Forever Flourishing dies along with gold foil.
I also stamped the sentiment from Free As A Bird in
Shaded Spruce ink on a white banner from Tasteful Labels dies.
I finished it off with the gold glitter dot.

Have a lovey Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

FMS438 You Are Loved Sunflower

I decided to color the small sunflower when I saw the
fun sketch over at freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com
I think I love the Pretty Peacock in the middle as well as the
Mango Melody on the petals! I also colored the leaves
in with Old Olive all with the Stampin Blends markers.
I cut it out with the matching Sunflower dies.
I cut a Stitched Label in white and stamped the sentiment
from the same Celebrate Sunflowers set in pretty Peacock.
For the background and sketch I ran the white cards tock
through the Ornate Floral embossing folder then added a strip of
Pretty Peacock designer paper in a gingham print.
Also a bit of Pretty Peacock trim ribbon down the side.
I layered all on a Pretty Peacock base.
I also finished the flower with some clear epoxy dots.
Hopefully you have a wonderful Monday
and thanks for stopping by!

GDP243 Forever Blooms

My first card with the lovely Bloom & Grow bundle.
I used it to make a wedding card and for the
floral challenge over at global-design-project.com
I sat and thought about the color and then thought why
am I even thinking about it..it has to be purple!
I stamped the blooms twice in Memento Tuxedo Black
on thick white card stock. I cut them with the matching dies
called Budding Blooms dies.
I then stamped in same ink the sentiment on white card stock
and cut it with the Stitched Rectangle dies.
I added them to the Parisian Flourish embossed background
in white then a Highland Heather base.
For the coloring, I used the Stampin Blends markers
in Highland Heather, Purple Posy,
Granny Apple Green, and Daffodil Delight.
Hope you enjoy your weekend and

FF0060 A Rest & Relax Vacay Scene

I do love the Old World Paper embossing folder.
I used it here for the challenge over at
festivefridaychallenge.com
I ran the embossing folder on Calypso Coral card stock
and layered on a Calypso Coral base.
I cut the white square 3 3/4" and stamped lots of bright colors,
sun, vacation theme scene and all with a watercolor look
per the challenge with the Waterfront set.
I used Seaside Spray for the sky, Mango Melody for the sun,
Bermuda Bay for the water, Sahara Sand for the sand,
Soft Suede for the tree trunks, and the Granny Apple Green
for the palms.
I stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral ink
from the Timeless Tropical set (a slight crooked).

I will be there in less than 2 weeks as we still get to go
on our beach vacay to Sanibel Island here in Florida.
This will be our 22nd year in a row to go. Can't wait!

Thanks for stopping by!

I knew I wanted to color this lovely sunflower in purples
from Celebrate Sunflowers set and when I saw Jaydee's tic-tac-toe
challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com this week for the first row
down-flower, sympathy and purple I was so happy to color it.
I grabbed Blackberry Bliss, Highland Heather, and Mango
Melody Stampin Blends markers for the flowers and Granny Apple Green
for the leaves. I inked them up in Memento Tuxedo Black on white card stock
and then after coloring, I cut them with the matching Sunflower dies.
I then layered a piece of Highland Heather ran through with the
Tasteful Textile embossing folder on white base.
I then cut the white scalloped rectangle from Stitched So Sweetly dies
then layered the flower and leaves on. I stamped the sentiment from a retired

I wanted to use some more Tropical Oasis DSP
before it retired this week(today actually).
I grabbed two prints for the sketch challenge over at
casethissketch.blogspot.com
I layered the leaves print on a Grapefruit Grove base
and then added the Shaded Spruce layer before finally
laying the flamingo print designer paper.
I stamped the sentiment from the Ornate Thanks set
in Early Espresso ink on Grapefruit Grove card stock
and cut it with the Ornate Layers dies
and placed some more Shaded Spruce card stock behind.

FMS437 Good Things

Yes, I love this set-Tasteful Touches!
It is in the new 2020-2021 SU! annual catalog and starts this week.
I have to hand snip those flowers but they are worth it and
so happy they are easy to do.
I started with the sketch in mind from
freshlymadesketch.blogspot.com and grabbed the block
background stamp and inked it up in Night of Navy
to stamp on the white card stock several times in four rows.
I also stamped the sentiment from same set and ink on top.
I then layered it to the Night of navy piece and the Daffodil Delight base.
I then stamped the two flowers from the set on thick white card stock
in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I colored them with the Stampin Blends in Light Mango Melody,
light and dark Daffodil Delight as well as Ivory in the middle.
I cut three of the Night of Navy leaves from Nature's Thoughts dies.
I added a little Wink of Stell-clear to the center of the flowers!
I just love Navy and yellow together!

Hope you have a wonderful Monday and thanks for stopping by!
