Love You Ocean Friends

I just love this suite called Friends of The Ocean in the new spring catty. I did a little casing of a layout on page 30 of the new catty. I have Berry Burst base and added some stamping of bubbles in the same color ink to each end. I then cut the DSP called Friends Of The Ocean in a 3.5" square and then did same with the white piece which I ran through the new Soft Waves embossing folder. I cut the crab from another piece of the DSP and the star fish and seaweed with the matching dies. Seaweed in Summer Splash card stock and the starfish in Pumpkin Pie, Berry Burst and Granny Apple Green card stocks. I stamped the sentiment from the Ocean Friends stamp set in Berry Burst ink on a strip of white card stock and snipped the end for a banner look. I finished off with the Sunny Day iridescent dots.
Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!

PP720 A Hibiscus Birthday

I love that we can pick our pink, orange and green for Elizabeth's color challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com this week. I went with Berry Burst, Pumpkin Pie and Lemon Lime Twist. I have a Berry Burst base and a white piece of card stock ran through with the Hibiscus embossing folder. I then cut a piece of card stock 3 1/4" by 4" in white and added a strip of Brights DSP in Berry Burst stripes to side. I then stamped my trio of flowers from the Happy Hibiscus stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with the Stampin Blends markers in Berry Burst, Bubble Bath, Pumpkin Pie, Peach Pie, and Lemon Lime Twist. I cut them out along with two white leaves and the label die in white with the matching dies. The two larger flower I ran through the embossing folder for my texture. I stamped the sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies set in berry Burst ink on the label die. I finished off with some adhesive-backed shiny sequin in Berry Burst.
Hope you can play along and have a bright and beautiful day!

For The Books

I had to get the For The Books bundle in the new spring catty as my daughter and I love books and read all the time! This card is on the way to her as she starts her new semester in her PhD program. I have a Blueberry Bushel base with a piece of white card stock and then a piece of Gorgeous Gingham in Blueberry. I cut the shape from the Birthday Celebration dies also new in the spring catty in white to add my books, shelf and sentiment.   I stamped the books in Memento Black ink and colored them with my Stampin Blends markers in dark Shaded Spruce, dark Daffodil Delight, light Balmy Blue, light Blueberry Bushel and SU900. I hand snipped them and then cut the shelf in Pecan Pie from the matching dies. I stamped the sentiment in Black ink and the heart in Real Red from the same set. I finished off with a Real Red rhinestone.
Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!

Heart Shaped Valentine

I made my first Valentine's day card and it is for my mom.  I used the new Heart Shaped set from the SAB sales brochure which you can earn free with purchase until Feb 28th. I decided to do a little casing from the same brochure on page 13. I used a Pretty in Pink base and another piece of the same color card stock ran through with the Eyelet embossing folder. I then cut a white square and stamped the heart sever al times with Soft Sea Foam ink which is not showing up much here because it is light. I added the Pink heart cut from the matching dies on top plus a few twigs of Soft Sea Foam to the side. I cut the little label from the same dies in Crumb Cake card stock and stamped the sentiment from Ocean Friends in Pebbled Path ink. I then cut a Nested Essentials die in Soft Sea Foam card stock for the right side. I added a Soft Sea Foam twine bow. I finished off with a couple of the Purple adhesive-backed sequins you can also earn free with SAB on page 10-11.
Hope you have a fab day and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Trucking Along Birthday!

Happy 2025 to you!

I needed to make a quick card last week for my uncle's birthday because I just did not have a good masculine card in my stash! My uncle has a red truck so I thought of this set called Trucking Along to use for a quick card. I cut a Deckled Circle in white and stamped the truck with the beach items in back in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with my Stampin Blends in Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Smoky Slate, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Azure Afternoon and Pecan Pie. I stamped the road in Pecan Pie ink and the clouds in Balmy Blue. I stamped the sentiment from the Beach Day stamp set in Night Of Navy ink on a white strip of card stock. I added all to my background paper from the Country Woods DSP pack and then added to the white base.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend thanks for stopping by!

This Calls For Pie

I know this seems like a strangle card but my husband's birthday is coming up in a few weeks and he loves pie! He even says often "This calls for PIE"! He will find any excuse to buy a whole pie which he eats all by himself!  So I had to make a pie card for his birthday and I started with a Pumpkin Pie base and another layer ran through with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder and then a strip added of the Gorgeous gingham DSP in Pecan Pie. I stamped four pie wedges from the More Than Autumn setin Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and colored them with the Stampin Blends in Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie, Peach Pie, Poppy Parade and Crumb Cake. I cut them with matching dies and popped them on the strip and the two Deckled Circles in white and Pecan Pie card stock. I stamped the sentiment in Poppy and Pecan inks and hand snipped them. Inside, I stamped the HB from the retired set Perennial Birthday and the colored the pie in Cajun Craze with  Crumb Cake and the word pie in Pumpkin Pie ink.
Hope you have a fun day and thanks for stopping by!

Happily Ever After

My son is in a wedding next month and needed a card made. I grabbed my Frames and Flowers pack of specialty designer paper. I used a white base and a piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock ran through the Tasteful Textile embossing folder for some texture. I used one of the oval frames from the paper pack plus a few flowers on the front and cut a white oval with the Stitched Shapes dies to stamp my sentiment from the Something Fancy set in Pretty Peacock ink. I added some pearls and a soft sea foam binding ribbon bow. Inside, I added a die cut from the pack and stamped the sentiment from the This Day Forward stamp set in Peacock ink. I added another die cut piece from the pack to the back of the white envelope.
Hope you have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!
