Yes, a beautiful display of florals in my fav color purple for the birthday theme hop today!
I am using the Thankful Garden bundle as well as the matching decorative masks. First, the layers are a Fresh Freesia base with a layer of Distressed Gold paper, a piece of Gorgeous Grape card stock and a piece of the Beautiful Bokeh DSP in Fresh Freesia. I stamped the sentiment from the Translucent Florals set in VeraMark ink on a piece of the same DSP and heat embossed with the gold embossing powder and heat tool. I cut it out with the Unbounded Love dies and use the same die with the gold paper for the frame. I cut the leaves in Granny Apple Green card stock from the Thankful Garden dies.
The Thankful Garden decorative masks were used to create the floral images as well as the stamp set. I blended the ink on a white piece of card stock using the masks and my blending brushes. I used Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape and Granny Apple Green inks. I then stamped the image outline over in VersaMark ink and heat embossed in gold embossing powder. I then cut them with the matching dies. I added the Fresh Freesia seam binding ribbon and some gold adhesive-backed sparkle gems to finish it off.

Happy Rockin' Birthday!

My son's 27th birthday is today and he is a rocker! He does not play the instruments but loves his rock music! Plus his fav color is RED! So I pulled out the Enjoy The Rhythm set and stamped the drum set and music notes on the white Stitched Rectangle die in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then colored the drums with my Stampin Blends markers in Smoky Slate and Real Red. I popped it on the Rock & Roll DSP and a piece of Real Red card stock and a white base. I cut the guitars out of the Rock & Roll DSP and colored with the same markers.
Wishing my baby a wonderful and blessed birthday!

The Best Textured

I am loving the new Textured Notes bundle as well as the Woven Textures DSP. I have a Basic Beige base and a layer of Pecan Pie card stock before adding my Woven Textures DSP with the linen print I stamped on for the background. I thought the linen print would look great stamped with the leaf image from the Textured Notes set in Pecan Pie ink to make a background. I then cut a Basic Beige Textured Notes die to add more leaves in Mossy Meadow ink. I then stamped the circle weave image in Pecan Pie ink and cut with the Deckled Circles die. I ran my Mini Corrugated emboss folder though with a strip of Mossy Meadow card stock to pop behind my sentiment stamped in Mossy ink and cut with the Textured Notes dies. I finished it off with a Mossy Meadow twine double bow and some Neutral Matte dots in Pecan Pie.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Seriously The Best Texture

I am playing again with the Botanical Textures suite. It is a new online exclusive with two packs of DSP and cool dies! I am doing a little casing of SU! with my card today. I have a white base and a piece of the Botanical Textures DSP with another piece of DSP called Woven Textures DSP cut with the Textured Notes dies. I then cut a piece of another print of the Woven Textures DSP to place under my sentiment. The sentiment is stamped on white card stock with the Textured Notes stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink and cut with the Textured Notes dies. I added a linen thread bow behind them. I stamped the leaves twice from the Textured Notes set- once in Pretty Peacock ink and again in Lost Lagoon ink. I then hand snipped them out and blended some Lost Lagoon ink over them. I also stamped the basket circle in Pecan Pie ink on white card stock and cut it out with the Deckled circles dies. I finished off with some Neutral Matte Dots in Basic Beige.
It is a busy but cool textured card!
Hope you have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

I used my Thankful Garden decorative masks to blend Blueberry Bushel and Shy Shamrock inks on a piece of white card stock with my blending brushes. PP727 A Spring Garden With Love

I am playing along with Claire's theme challenge for spring flowers this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com and I am using the new online exclusive suite called Lovely Garden. I have a white base and cut three pieces of the Lovely Garden DSP with the Textured Notes dies to make a background. I used the Thankful Garden decorative masks to blend colors of Pretty In Pink, Melon Mambo and Shy Shamrock inks with my blending brushes. After I finished with the masks, I stamped the outline image from the Thankful Garden stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink over the top before cutting it out with the matching dies. I popped it up on my background and added some white starburst sequins.
I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink on a piece of Basic Black card stock from the same stamp set and heat embossed in white powder. I cut it out with the Mixed Labels dies and looped some Pretty In Pink ribbon behind it.
I hope you can play along and do not miss getting this suite!
Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!
