Mother's Day Hydrangeas

This is my Mother's Day card for my mom this year as she loves blue hydrangeas. I have a Blueberry Bushel base with a layer of Balmy Blue and then a white Perennial Postage die. I then cut a white piece of card stock just smaller than the postage die to run through the Eyelet embossing folder. I used the Thankful Garden decorative masks to blend Blue Berry Bushel, Balmy Blue and Garden Green inks with the blending brushes on a piece of white card stock. I then stamped the image as well in Memento Tuxedo Black ink with the Thankful Garden stamp set. I cut it out with the matching Thankful Garden dies. I cut a white postage die for the sentiment stamped in Blueberry Bushel ink with the Celebrating You stamp set. I used antique pearls and the Black and Vanilla ribbon in a bow to finish it off.
Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!

Playing with a new online suite called Celebratory Sips available May 6th, 2025. I am sending this to my daughter as she finishes up the spring semester of her second year in her PhD program! She has worked hard this semester! I can't wait for her to be here in May!
I have a Blackberry Bliss base and a piece of the Celebratory Sips DSP. I also stamped the glasses from the Cheers & Sips set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on another piece of the DSP which gives my glasses the drink inside. I cut them out with the matching dies along with the umbrella and stick stamped on white in black ink and the umbrella colored with the light Blackberry Bliss Stampin Blends marker. I stamped inside the glasses in black ink the strawberries and the berries. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white card stock in black ink. I cut the Berry Burst circle from the Stylish Shapes dies and finished with some Holographic Resin Dots part of the suite.
Hope you have a fab weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Ocean Friends For The Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month’s theme is “Male Room.” The Pals hope to inspire you with their masculine card ideas and paper craft creations using Stampin’ Up! products. Links to the participant’s blogs can be found at the end of each post to help you “hop” along!

For the blog hop today, I have a card for anyone of any age using the Ocean Friends bundle. I wanted to make it a birthday card and used the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set. A fun fold is always a hit, so I have a Z fold with a white base. I added a piece of Summer Splash card stock on the inside. I also added a piece of that same card stock plus a piece of the Unbounded Beauty DSP to the front panel. I then cut three white Deckled Rectangle dies. I added one to the inside to write a message and the others on the outside flap. I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Real Red ink to the upper right. I then stamped the lobster and crab on white card stock in Real Red and Summer Splash inks and cut them with the matching dies along with a Summer Splash coral die behind. I finished off with some Sunny Day dots in Summer Splash.

We have more inspiration to share, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Don’t miss out next month as we create for the “Flowers in Bloom” theme.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.
