Simplest Things

I am still playing with the Seaside Wishes bundle today! I have a Basic Beige base and a layer of the Country Woods DSP for the background. I then stamped the images on Basic Beige card stock in Misty Moonlight, Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie and Summer Splash inks. I cut them with the matching dies along with some detailed dies in Pool Party, Misty Moonlight  and Petal Pink card stocks. I stamped the sentiment from the set in Misty Moonlight ink on a Basic Beige Deckled Circle die. I sponged the edges in Pecan Pie ink. I finished with some flat adhesive-backed pearls.
Hope you have a beautiful weekend and thanks for stopping by!

PP732 Enjoy Seaside Thoughts

I am playing along with Jan's theme this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com and using a fav bundle called Seaside Wishes thinking of a beach vacation! I started with a Basic Beige base and a layer of Country Woods DSP for the background. I then stamped the sand dollars on Basic beige card stock in Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie inks. I then cut them out with the matching dies and the top one I ran through the Seaside wishes embossing folder to give more texture! I then stamped the starfishes in Summer Splash ink and cut them out along with a Petal Pink and a Gray Granite detailed sand dollars. I stamped the sentiment from the Beach Day stamp set in Summer Splash ink on a label cut from the Textured Notes dies on Basic Beige card stock. I added some Pool Party twine around and finished off with flat adhesive-backed pearls.
Hope you have a beachy kind of day!

Ocean Friends For The Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month’s theme is “Male Room.” The Pals hope to inspire you with their masculine card ideas and paper craft creations using Stampin’ Up! products. Links to the participant’s blogs can be found at the end of each post to help you “hop” along!

For the blog hop today, I have a card for anyone of any age using the Ocean Friends bundle. I wanted to make it a birthday card and used the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set. A fun fold is always a hit, so I have a Z fold with a white base. I added a piece of Summer Splash card stock on the inside. I also added a piece of that same card stock plus a piece of the Unbounded Beauty DSP to the front panel. I then cut three white Deckled Rectangle dies. I added one to the inside to write a message and the others on the outside flap. I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Real Red ink to the upper right. I then stamped the lobster and crab on white card stock in Real Red and Summer Splash inks and cut them with the matching dies along with a Summer Splash coral die behind. I finished off with some Sunny Day dots in Summer Splash.

We have more inspiration to share, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Don’t miss out next month as we create for the “Flowers in Bloom” theme.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Congratulations With Happy Hibiscus

I love a bit of mono on a card and here I mostly used Petunia Pop but with a little Bubble Bath. I have a Petunia Pop base and a layer of white card stock plus apiece of In Color DSP in Petunia Pop. I then cut two Textured Notes dies in white and another print of the In Color DSP. I stamped the flowers from the Happy Hibiscus set in Petunia Pop ink on white card stock and colored them with my Bubble Bath Stampin Blends markers. I cut them out along with more card stock flowers with the matching Happy Hibiscus dies.  I added some Neutral Matte dots in white. I stamped the sentiment from the same set in Petunia Pop ink on a strip of white where the top was cut with the Deckled Rectangle die.
Hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!
