PP760 Good Things

I am playing along with Jaydee's clean and simple foliage challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com today! I have a Cajun Craze base and a piece of white card stock ran through with the Gathering Leaves embossing folder. I the cut two large leaves with the Gathering Moments dies- one in Cajun and one in black card stocks. I wanted to give the top leaf the illusion of a shadow with the black leaf behind. I used my white gel pen to add the faux stitching to the top leaf. I stamped the sentiment from the Banner Sayings set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a white Banner Saying label die I punched out. I finished with a black matte dot and a double black twine bow.

This is a new set called Big Little Things and I had to get it to make cards with this adorable panda bear for my daughter, Amanda, who is nicknamed Panda!  This is my first card and I grabbed the black base and the Modern Christmas DSP with the dots print. I stamped the image on a white Spotlight On Nature circle and cut another one in black card stock. I punched it out with a new punch called Banner Sayings. I finished with a black/gold twine double bow and a white matte dot. The set and punch will be available online Nov. 3rd, 2025.

PP759 Grateful Moments

I am playing along with Elizabeth's color challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com  I went with my fav Stamin Up! purple- Blackberry Bliss plus Garden Green for this challenge. I usually pair Blackberry Bliss with Granny Apple Green which is my fav green but I thought I would go Garden since I had the twine in that color out. I have a Blackberry Bliss base and I layered a piece of the Gathering Together DSP in plaid on after I blending some Blackberry Bliss ink on it with my blending brush. I then stamped the elements from Gathering Together in my inks on white card stock and cut them with the matching dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Artistic Leaves set in Blackberry ink on the white label die cut from the Autumn Leaves dies.  The large leaf for the background was cut with the Gathering Moments dies with Blackberry Bliss card stock. I finished with some Blackberry Bliss gems and a double bow with the Garden Green twine.

Have a lovely day and hope you can play along this week!

Expressing Gratitude For Fall

Making another cool card with the Gathering Moments bundle. I have a black base and then I layered with a piece of the Modern Christmas DSP in white and black plaid except I took my blending brush with Peach Pie ink to make it another color. I the stamped the sentiment on white card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and added a little Peach Pie lightly with the same blending brush. I hand snipped it out and popped it right on my distressed leaf. To distress my leaf, I cut it out with the two tone Peach Pie card stock using the Gathering Moments large leaf die. I spritzed it with water and carefully crumbled the leaf in my hand. I used my heat tool to then dry it when I opened it back up and then i sanded it a little with a sanding block. I have some Old Olive twine behind and lots of leaves and such stamped from the same set in Blackberry Bliss, Memento Black, Old olive, Pumpkin Pie, and Pecan Pie inks. I cut them out with the matching dies. I finished with some matte black dots.
Have a beautiful week and thanks for stopping by!

A few more treat holders to make sure I had enough when we went out to dinner the other week and I was giving out the treat holders I featured yesterday on my blog. I stamped the leaves in Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Wild Wheat inks from the Gathering Moments set and cut with the matching dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Artistic Leaves set in Cajun Craze in on a white Stylish Shapes banner die. I finished off with the Cajun Craze/gold dot! I made some treat holders for a ladies night out at a fav restaurant. I made sure to include one for our hostess and one for our waitress. The idea for the Ghirardelli treat holder is from my friend and fellow Pal, Julie DiMatteo over at thepaperpixie.com You can see her video here. These treat holders use the lovely Gathering Together DSP. I also used the Gathering Moments bundle to add the Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry leaves, the cute acorn in Early Espresso ink that is colored in Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze with Stampin Blends markers and a white Stylish Shapes banner with the sentiment from the Artistic Leaves stamp set in Cajun Craze ink. I used the Tag topper Punch, retired Cooper Clay ribbon and then a Cajun Craze/gold dot. Inside are Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Caramel Squares!
