Father's Day With Adventurous Sky

Another card for classes in April but this one is for Father's Day and using a brand new bundle from the upcoming annual catalog which starts May 1st, 2024 called Adventurous Sky.  I have used the Starry Sky base with a layer of Basic Gray, Boho Blue and white. On the white, I have stamped the clouds in Boho Blue ink. I stamped the plane in Starry Sky ink and used my water color pencils to add some Basic Gray and Early Espresso color to the plane. I cut it out with the matching dies. I stamped the sentiment in Starry Sky ink on Boho Blue card stock and cut it with the Something Fancy die in a hexagon shape then added the Basic Gray Stitched Shapes circle behind. I finished off with a few Boho Blue dots.
Hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Mother's Day With Stippled Roses

For my card classes in April, I designed a Mother's Day card with the Stippled Roses bundle and used the Softly Stippled DSP from SAB from few months ago. I also wanted to use the retiring Orchid Oasis color for one more hurrah! I have an orchid Oasis base and a layer of white card stock which I stamped the sentiment in the Orchid ink from the Stippled Roses set. I added a piece of the Softly Stippled DSP to the top. I stamped the rises in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and cut them out. I then used my sponge daubers to add Orchid Oasis and Old Olive ink. I finished with some Crumb Cake dots.
Hope you have a beautiful Monday and thanks for stopping by!

PP683 Just A Note

Again, I am playing along with Ann's tic-tac-toe challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com using the across with DSP, die cut, ribbon and down with ribbon embossing, pastels (colors). I have a Petal Pink base and a piece of the Flowering Zinnias DSP. I then ran a piece of white card stock through the Layered Florals 3D embossing folder. I used the Petal Pink striped ribbon behind the small flower from Magnolia Mood set stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Petal pink and Old olive Stampin Blends markers then cut with matching dies. I also stamped the sentiment on white card stock in black ink and hand snipped it out. I finished with some Petal Pink gems and white leaves die cut from the Magnolia Mood dies.
Hope you have a lovely April weekend and thanks for stopping by!

PP683 Thinking Of Zinnias

I am so excited to play with Ann's tic-tac-toe challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com that I made this card and another for tomorrow! I went diagonal with flowers, fun fold and ribbon for this Z fold card using the lovely Flowering Zinnias DSP. I have the base in Fresh Freesia and inside added a layer of Blackberry Bliss and white card stock. On the front fold, I added the strip of one print of DSP. I then added another print cut with the Deckled Rectangle dies along with a piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock. They are popped up on the fold after attaching a piece of Fresh Freesia open weave ribbon to the back. I did added another piece of same ribbon under the layers inside right so it can be tied shut. I added the sentiment from the Season Of Chic set stamp in Blackberry Bliss ink on a white stitched oval die.
Hope you have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!
Come back tomorrow to see another card from the challenge!

Hello There

Today I am sharing a card I made for a challenge from Brian King (stampwithbrian) and Emma Goddard (coastalcrafter) who put together the Super-Awesome Fun Kits I buy about once a month. For March, they did a kit around the Bright & Beautiful memories & more kit cards and stickers. They challenged us to make a card from the pieces we did not use for their creations/designs. Here is my card with a Calypso Coral base and a layer of white card stock then a card from the pack. I used another card the cut the sentiment with the flowers and another to cut the strips underneath. I added a bow and dots from the extras they provided in the kit to finish off. This pack of cards and stickers made some awesome cards and no stamping was involved. Hope you have a brilliant day and thanks for stopping by!

Sending Sunshine

Love the Beach Day bundle and I keep wanting to play with it. Here I am casing thecraftycarrotco.com again and have started with the Daffodil Delight base and another layer of the same color ran through the Twisted Rope embossing folder. I then have a piece of water color paper I added some Balmy Blue ink with my water color brush. I stamped the birds and the sentiment on white card stock. The birds in Pecan Pie and the sentiments in Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight inks. I cut the birds out with the matching dies along with the palm tree and grass in Pecan Pie and Lemon Lime Twist. I hand snipped the sentiment out and finished off with some iridescent sequins.
Hope you have a wonderful day full of sunshine and thanks for stopping by!

Love Your Way With Lovely & Sweet

I am doing a little casing of thecraftycarrotco.com today and another tomorrow. I have a white base and another white piece of card stock ran through the Cane Weave embossing folder plus I used my blending brush to run a little Fresh Freesia ink over it. I then stamped the large image from the Lovely & Sweet set in Early Espresso ink on white card stock twice. I colored the flowers with my Stampin Blends markers in dark Fresh Freesia and light Highland Heather. When I cut them out with the matching dies, I also cut lots of Espresso and Freesia flowers to pop on. I stamped the sentiment in Espresso ink on Fresh Freesia card stock and cut with the label die from the Lovely & Sweet dies. Fresh Freesia open weave ribbon was added behind and I finished off with the purple fine shimmer gems.
Hope you have a lovely Monday and thanks for stopping by!
