PP759 Grateful Moments

I am playing along with Elizabeth's color challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com  I went with my fav Stamin Up! purple- Blackberry Bliss plus Garden Green for this challenge. I usually pair Blackberry Bliss with Granny Apple Green which is my fav green but I thought I would go Garden since I had the twine in that color out. I have a Blackberry Bliss base and I layered a piece of the Gathering Together DSP in plaid on after I blending some Blackberry Bliss ink on it with my blending brush. I then stamped the elements from Gathering Together in my inks on white card stock and cut them with the matching dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Artistic Leaves set in Blackberry ink on the white label die cut from the Autumn Leaves dies.  The large leaf for the background was cut with the Gathering Moments dies with Blackberry Bliss card stock. I finished with some Blackberry Bliss gems and a double bow with the Garden Green twine.

Have a lovely day and hope you can play along this week!

Expressing Gratitude For Fall

Making another cool card with the Gathering Moments bundle. I have a black base and then I layered with a piece of the Modern Christmas DSP in white and black plaid except I took my blending brush with Peach Pie ink to make it another color. I the stamped the sentiment on white card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and added a little Peach Pie lightly with the same blending brush. I hand snipped it out and popped it right on my distressed leaf. To distress my leaf, I cut it out with the two tone Peach Pie card stock using the Gathering Moments large leaf die. I spritzed it with water and carefully crumbled the leaf in my hand. I used my heat tool to then dry it when I opened it back up and then i sanded it a little with a sanding block. I have some Old Olive twine behind and lots of leaves and such stamped from the same set in Blackberry Bliss, Memento Black, Old olive, Pumpkin Pie, and Pecan Pie inks. I cut them out with the matching dies. I finished with some matte black dots.
Have a beautiful week and thanks for stopping by!

Pick Of The Patch

I made this card for my son and I hope he has a wonderful fall season! I have a Pumpkin Pie base and a layer of Basic Black card stock and a piece of the Botanical Textures DSP for the background. I cut a white and black Branching Out die labels and blended some Peach Pie ink on the white one with my blending brush.  I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink from the retired Pick Of The Patch stamp set on the white label. I then stamped the pumpkins in Pumpkin Pie ink on white card stock and punched out with the matching punch along with some Garden Green leaves and Early Espresso stems. I stamped the crow in black ink on white card stock and hand snipped him out.   I attempted to draw black lines on the leaves with a black marker. I finished with some black glitter stars.
Hope you have a fun weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Grateful Diaper Fold Treats

A few more treat holders to make sure I had enough when we went out to dinner the other week and I was giving out the treat holders I featured yesterday on my blog. I turned to the old standby- the diaper fold! I have two different prints of Timeless Plaid DSP at 6" square then folded to hold the treats. I stamped the leaves in Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Wild Wheat inks from the Gathering Moments set and cut with the matching dies. I also stamped the acorn in in Early espresso ink and colored it with my Stampin' blends markers in crumb cake and Cajun Craze. I stamped the sentiment from the Artistic Leaves set in Cajun Craze in on a white Stylish Shapes banner die. I finished off with the Cajun Craze/gold dot! I popped in a Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Caramel Square.
Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

Be sure to visit each participant’s blog — you’ll find the full list at the end of this post so you can easily hop along and enjoy all the inspiration!

I made some treat holders for a ladies night out at a fav restaurant. I made sure to include one for our hostess and one for our waitress. The idea for the Ghirardelli treat holder is from my friend and fellow Pal, Julie DiMatteo over at thepaperpixie.com You can see her video here. These treat holders use the lovely Gathering Together DSP. I also used the Gathering Moments bundle to add the Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry leaves, the cute acorn in Early Espresso ink that is colored in Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze with Stampin Blends markers and a white Stylish Shapes banner with the sentiment from the Artistic Leaves stamp set in Cajun Craze ink. I used the Tag topper Punch, retired Cooper Clay ribbon and then a Cajun Craze/gold dot. Inside are Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Caramel Squares!

The creativity doesn’t stop here! Be sure to hop along using the lineup below to explore even more inspiring projects from the Pals. And mark your calendar — next month, we’re spreading holiday cheer with our “Season’s Greetings” theme!

More Fall Doughnuts

I made this card for my doughnut loving son Cole! The die cut of the sentiment at the top looks straight on the card but not in this photo. I have a white base and a layer of To Market DSP and then I cut two labels with the Branching Out dies. One in Pumpkin Pie and one in white that I blended some Peach Pie ink on with my blending brush for a background. I stamped the doughnuts in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock with the More Than Autumn set and colored them with my Stampin blends markers in Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake and Pebbled Path. I cut them out with the matching dies plus that saying in Black card stock. I stamped the other sentiments in black and Pumpkin Pie inks on white card stock and cut them by hand. I finished with a linen thread bow and some Pumpkin Pie dots.
Have a lovely week and thanks for stopping by!
