Unto Us

I did a little casing from Kay Kalthoff at stampingtoshare.com.  She does a video of the coloring with the Blendabilities markers.  I stamped on Whisper White card stock and colored the image which does go quickly and easily with the Blendies. I cut the image out and popped it up on dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray and punched the ends with the banner punch and popped it up, too. I love the Filigree Frame emboss folder and it pairs well with this image.
I hope the guest at card class next week will enjoy coloring it as much as I did!
Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Fry Boxes

My friend and fellow Pal, Patti Carbonell came over to stamp with me last week.  We had fun playing with her fry box die.  I finally opened my Under The Tree Specialty DSP which is thick and study and great for these boxes.

FMS161 Gentle Star

Yes I love Purple and Gold together!  When I saw this sketch I thought of the new star set but wanted just words on the white space.  I then remembered this beautiful sentiment in the new photopolymer stamp set called Gentle Peace.  I have designed a card using this set and the image of the Christ and family for my next card class and will share it soon. That is when I knew I would use the Majestic Blackberry Bliss and Gold Foil together for a simple but regal card.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a blessed weekend!

PPA226 Piney Christmas

I only thought is this stamp set when I saw the color challenge for this week.  I was going for the branch and pinecones when I thought "wait, an ornament can be Craze colored!"  I inked my pine in Mossy Meadow and used my Soft Suede marker to color the branch. I stamped the hook in Soft Suede and the ornament in Cajun Craze and added a pearl colored with my darkest Old Olive Blendie marker.  I stamped my pine cones in Soft Suede but on Sahara Sand card stock for extra color.  I cut them out and popped up one on dimensionals. I stamped my sentiment in Soft Suede a little crooked but hey you know I did it!
I added a little Cajun Craze DSP from Color Me Autumn DSP behind and placed on a Soft Suede card base!
Hope this gives you a fun card to case and thanks for stopping by!

Merry Monday #133 Rustic Star

http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.ca/

Nina's rustic challenge had me thinking for a while. I then thought of my new set Many Merry Stars that just came out in a supplement from SU! I choose Baked Brown Sugar and Very Vanilla and went from there.  I did ink up my woodgrain emboss folder with Baked Brown Sugar and then ran through the Big Shot for this rustic background look.
I hope you enjoy your Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday Michaelle!

Happy Happy Birthday to Michaelle!  I hope she enjoys this card because I enjoyed making it.  I love layers and the vintage look but not always get to do a card like that.
  I cased a little from Narelle narellefarrugia.com
Love her work and she so inspires me!
I did stamp with a clear block and Crumb cake ink for my background.  I then stamped with the Crumb Cake ink the ink splatter from Gorgeous Grunge to fill in.
Have a blessed day!
Thanks for stopping by!

PP220 Vintage Ornament

I saw vintage and went right for my Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and Antique Wallpaper emboss folder.  I decided to ink up the top of my emboss folder with Soft Suede ink and then run my Very Vanilla piece through the Big Shot so it inked and dry embossed at same time. Loads of texture added in a quick zip. I used an antique brad with my Very Vanilla seam binding ribbon.  I think it needs some pearls and may add those later!
I hope you have a very vintage Monday and thanks for stopping by!
