Watercolor Magic

1st card for Christmas card classes this month.
I started with water color paper and stamped the snowman
and the pole from the new Christmas Magic stamp set in
the SU! Holiday catalog.
I watercolored the images
and then washed a little Soft Sky around for a wintery look.
I love snowmen and the North Pole sign is adorable.
This set also has a great train image I plan on using in another class
later in the season.
I also like the warm feeling you get with the Cable Knit 3D emboss folder!
A new product type I hope to see more of in the future.
Hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend!
I will be decorating my house for fall today!
I love my fall decor..esp. my pumpkin collection!
Thanks for stopping by!

Sunflower For You!

I designed this card for my friend Jen's birthday on Monday.
I could not post til I met with her to give her the card this week.
Happy Birthday week Jen!
I used the versatile Thoughtful Branches stamp set and matching dies.  It was so easy!
I stamped eight leaves that made the petals in Crushed Curry on Curry card stock.
I stamped the leaves bunch in Early Espresso on Chocolate Chip and the cut out with die
and then punched out with the 1 3/4" circle punch.
It is mounted on another circle the same size.
I used some Serene Scenery DSP for a background along
with some more leaves stamped in Crumb Cake on Crumb card stock.
Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely weekend!

PPA316 More Fresh Fruit

I decided to flip the design sketch and it worked well.
I have been wanting to use the strawberries
forever and finally I saw this when I saw the sketch!
I also love this sentiment!
I used a thick white card base.
I did stamp the strawberries and hand snipped them.
Everything was popped up on dimensionals, too!
Love the card and it makes happy when I look at it!
Maybe it is the strawberries!  Maybe the colors!
Happy Happy Happy!
Thanks for stopping by and hope you can head over to

GDP051 Thank You Vineyard!

The grapes seemed like a great choice especially since
I really like the Tuscan Vineyard set and look for ways to use it!
I water colored the grapes in wild Wasabi and Tip Top Taupe on water color paper.
I layered them with circles and I used another stamp in that set
to give some interest for the background along with the sentiment
from Rose Wonder.
I also pulled some pieces from the burlap ribbon to add across.
I hope you can play along with this yummy theme challenge

PP310 Acorny Thankful

I wanted to play with the Acorny Thank You set and some more Moroccan  DSP.
I think they went well together!
I stamped lightly in Soft Suede for the bottom of the acorns.
Love the mix of colors for tops.
I added the Kraft rope trim which looks
great in person.
Hope you can play along with the sketch challenge

Thinking Of You!

I created this card also as part the design team at inkbigadademystamps.com.
Not much to do here but use the wonderful Serene Scenery DSP and heat emboss!
I layered DSP on two card stocks and then heat embossed the sentiment
from a host set called Time of Year.
It was really that simple...let the DSP do the work for you!
Hope you have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping by!
