Varied Vases In Heather and Lipstick

I love the new color Highland Heather!  Well, I love purple!
This purple will get used a lot!
I layered the piece of Heather on a white base
after I ran it through the Big Shot with my
Layered Leaves embossing folder. and added some
new 1/8" grosgrain ribbon in Lovely Lipstick.
I stamped the vase from Varied Vases in Heather and the tulips in
Lovely Lipstick and used the matching Vase builder punch
and popped them up with dimensionals.
I stamped the stems and leaves in Granny Apple Green
on the stitched white oval.
I layered a scallop oval in Lipstick behind.
I stamped one of the lovely sentiment on the banner in lipstick.

I really like how this third card for classes turned out!
Have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!

Just For You In Mint and Petal

With a little casing from the new annual catalog
that starts today June 1st, we have a second card for
card classes next week.
I stamped my trees from Rooted In Nature set
in Mint Macaron- first in full ink and second after I stamped the
first without re-inking the image.
I cut them with the matching dies called Nature's Roots framelits dies.
I stamped the laves from the same set in Sahara Sand
on the same color paper and cut them with the dies.
There are three of them tucked in behind.
I cut the square in the new Petal Pink card stock--love it because it is a
soft pinky-peach color. It pairs well with loads of colors, too.
I layered it on the Soft Suede banner
embossed with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.
I stamped the sentiment from same set in Suede on the square.
I finished it off with a Mint Macaron twine bow.
I wanted it to look fresh but not too fall so
I went with the Sahara Sand base and light colors.

Hope you have a lovely day and thanks
for stopping by!

Wonderful Adventure In Foam And Fig

I really love foam and fig!
I mean the new Soft Sea Foam and Fresh Fig colors!
For my first class card for June, I used the Sea of Textures set
pairing these two great colors with some Tranquil Tide.
The new sea foam color is soft and almost more of a natural.
You can pop almost any color with it.
I started with it as my base and stamped in the same color the texture
stamp from the stamp set.
I stamped the sentiment from the set in Fig then started my scene.
I stamped Harry the Octopus in Fresh Fig and cut him out with the
matching dies.  I used the dies to cut a Crumb Cake net, a sea fan
in Tide and the sand dollar in Mint Macaron.
I layered these on a piece of Tranquil Textures DSP and some
Fig card stock
. I finished off by running some linen thread and tying it.

Hope you enjoy your day and thanks or stopping by!

PP395 Happy To Know You

I wish I had played more with the Tutti-fruitti DSP
but sometimes they retire too fast for me.
I like having new items but some things seem like they were not around long enough.
It really is true when we have the holiday or occasions catalogs.
By the time you collect what you want they retire. Before I
became a demo 7 yrs ago and started a blog 4 yrs ago,
I did not care about what is retired or not.
Now I try to use new current items on my blog, things one can go buy
right then.
I used both sides of the paper for this card.
I layered them on a white base and then stamped my
sentiment from Barn Door in Real Red on white.
I cut that out with my Layering Circle dies along with the
Night of Navy scallop circle.  I used my stitched circle for the
Lemon Lime Twist circle. A little Navy corduroy trim ribbon
and some Lemon Lime sequin to finish it off.

I like this sketch...hope you can play along over at

Fabfri138 Thanks For Reaching Out

I think I could use this set with any color combo!  Love it!
So I challenged myself for these pinks and love it!
I started with the white background and stamped the
net image in Powder Pink several times.
I then stamped the octopus-my friend Harry- in Flirty Flamingo.
I think he looks good in this color and will use it again in future.
I cut him out with matching dies long with the sand dollar
in melon Mambo, net in Sahara Sand and the
sea fans in Flirty and Pink.
I stamped the sentiment from the Sea of Textures set in Mambo
then set the scene.
I finished it off with the Sahara Sand card base.

I hope you have a fab day and
head over to
fabfridaystampinchallenge.blogspot.com to play along!

Thanks for stopping by!

CTS273 Lakeside Thinking Of You

I first thought of the waves/water for the bottom.
I started with full Bermuda Bay ink on the bottom and
did not re ink as I went up for that gradual color.
I decided to add the boats stamped in Blueberry Bushel
and cut them out with the matching dies.
I also used the die to cut a sun with the Pineapple Punch card stock.
I finished it off with the sentiment stamped
in Blueberry and cut with the label die from the same set
called Lakeside framelits dies.  I added a glitter dot in blue for a little shimmer.

I hope it relaxes you and Happy Memorial Day to all!
Thanks for stopping by!

FMS338 Simply The Best

I decided to go for my friend Linda Callahan's vase
sketch but with the shelf look.  I started with the DSP
called Tutti-Fruitti for my background layer.
I added it to the Tranquil Tide base.
I stamped the vases in Memento Tuxedo Black then stamped them with
Lemon lime twist ink before stamping my flowers in Tranquil Tide
and filling them in with Rich Razzleberry ink stamped off once.
I stamped the "shelf" in Tide and the sentiment in Real Red.
I finished it off with some Lemon lime Twist sequins.

I like the colors together and the freshness of this new set called
Varied Vases!  My upline, the amazing Mary Fish,
helped create this set after she achieved her 1 million in sales for
Stampin' Up!  So proud of her! And I think she is
SIMPLY THE BEST!

I hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by!
