PP744 Sailing On The 4TH

 

I am playing along with Jaydee's tic-tac-toe challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com today and I am going diagonal with CAS, die cut and masculine! I was going to make a 4th of July card to send my son and this worked out perfectly! It will be in the mail today! I have a white layer and another white ran through with the Sunrise sailing embossing folder. I stamped the birds in Blueberry Bushel from the Sunrise Sailing set on this layer. I then stamped from the same set the sailboat in Blueberry ink and Real Red ink and cut it out with matching dies. I cut the 4 from the Birthday Celebration dies in Blueberry Bushel card stock and I stamped the th from the same Birthday Celebration set in same color and hand snipped it out. I kept it simple and clean for the CAS part but wanted to add color to the water.

Happy 4TH

 

I am trying to channel some Brian King vibes with my 4th of July card this week. I wanted to send one to my mom and thought why not do some paper piecing like my friend over at stampwithbrian.com  He is the master of taking pieces of DSP or card stock and making cool projects/designs! I cut several 3/4" strips of Blueberry Bushel, white and Cherry Cobbler card stock. I added them to a 4" square piece of card stock and snipped any pieces hanging over the edge. I popped it on my white base that I stamped using the Birthday Celebrations stamp set in Cherry Cobbler and Blueberry Bushel inks and the added the 4 cut in Blueberry Bushel card stock with the Birthday Celebrations dies. I finished with some Blueberry gems.

PP743 One Layer Wishes

 

I am playing with Elizabeth's one layer challenge today over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com using a piece of white card stock for the base and only layer. I then cut a stencil using a Deckled Circle die to lay on my card stock. I am using three new in colors with my blending brushes for the sunset. I used Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger and Darling Duckling and I applied extra pressure to the Strawberry Slush to give some cloud like extra texture. I then stamped the boat and dolphins in Memento Tuxedo Black ink from the Under The Moon set and the sentiment in same ink from the Unbounded Love set.

PP742 Banana Tag For You

 

I am playing along with Claire's fruity challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com this week after making a tag for my daughter. My girl will be 30 in a few weeks and she loves bananas! So I pulled out my retired set called Cute Fruit to make this tag to tie on a present of new shoes from Tory Burch. It goes perfect with the bag they wrapped the shoes in. I have a piece of the new Darling Duck card stock cut with the Birthday Celebration dies in the shape of a pocket. I used the Nested Essentials to cut a piece of white card stock I ran through the Damask Designs embossing folder. I stamped the banana in Darling Duck ink and Memento Tuxedo Black ink used for the top and face. I hand snipped it out. I stamped the sentiment from For The Books stamp set on white in black ink and snipped the banner end. I placed an in color gem in Darling Duck and hole punch the top to add a gold stripped mesh ribbon tied with some Lemon Lolly twine.

Gallery Blooms In Freesia

 

More Fresh Freesia today with the Gallery Blooms bundle, Damask Designs embossing folder and the Everyday Arches dies with the Beautiful Bokeh DSP. I have  a Fresh Freesia base and a layer of white ran through with the folder. I cut the DSP with the Bokeh DSP in Fresh Freesia. I stamped the floral image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink from Gallery Blooms and cut with the matching dies. I colored with the Stampin Blends in Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple plus a little Lemon Lolly. I stamped the sentiment in black ink on a white Stylish Shapes banner die from the Unbounded Love stamp set. I finished with some Purple Sequins in Fresh Freesia.

Hello Gallery Blooms

 

It is Fresh Freesia today with the Gallery Blooms bundle and the lovely Damask Designs embossing folder. I have a Fresh Freesia base and added another piece of same color card stock to the background ran through with the folder. I then cut a white frame with the Gallery Blooms dies. I stamped the floral image three times on white card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with the Stampin Blends markers. I used Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green in light and dark. I cut them with matching dies to pop on plus I ran some Fresh Freesia faux velvet trim around with a tie. I stamped the sentiment in black ink on a white Stylish Shapes banner from the Unbounded Love stamp set. I finished with some Fresh Freesia Starburst sequins.

Miss You With Beautiful Gallery

 

I thought this was a great fast masculine card to mail to my son. I added the piece of DSP called Beautiful Gallery DSP to a Secret Sea base and cut a Basic Beige frame to pop on with dimensionals. I added the sentiment stamped in Secret Sea ink on a Basic Beige Unbounded love die circle from the Simply Said stamp set. I finished with a few Secret Sea dots.

A Blessed Day With Gallery Blooms

 

I just had to go purple and let these lovely blooms take center stage. I have a Petunia Pop base and added a piece of white to the bottom ran through with the Damask Designs embossing folder. I then stamped the flowers twice on white card stock with the Gallery Blooms stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then colored than with my Stampin Blends in light and dark Petunia Pop, light Petal Pink, light Lemon Lolly, and light and dark Granny Apple Green. I cut them out along with some white floral dies with the Galley Blooms dies. I stamped the sentiment in black ink from the Unbounded Love stamp set and cut out with the matching dies. I added some Petunia Pop gems to finish it off.

For You With Gallery Blooms

 

I decided to change up the card I was casing from the new catty on page 52 with the image and colors. I have a Pretty In Pink base and another piece of card stock cut and ran through the Damask Designs embossing folder. I then cut the frame with the Gallery Blooms dies and I stamped the script from the Elements Of Text set in Strawberry Slush ink. I then stamped the floral image from Gallery Blooms set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and colored with the Stampin Blends markers. I used Strawberry Slush in light and dark plus dark Pretty In Pink along with a little light Lemon Lolly in the centers. The leaves are in light and dark Old Olive. I stamped the sentiment from the Layering Leaves set in Memento Black on white card stock and cut out with the Unbounded Love dies. I added some Strawberry Slush faux linen ribbon behind and a few of the same color dots.

Beautiful Gallery Thinking Of You

 

Starting to play with the Beautiful Gallery suite. This is a Secret Sea base with a layer of two DSP prints from the Beautiful Gallery DSP. The one on the bottom is ran through with the Damask Designs embossing folder and then a strip of Secret Sea card stock in the middle. I stamped the sentiment from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Sea ink and cut it out with the Unbounded Love dies. I added some Pressed Flower motifs gems to finish it off.

The new 2025-2027 in colors are wonderful but I picked my fav combo of two colors- Seret Sea and Cloud Cover- to show off today along with a fav bundle! I started with a Secret Sea base and then a layer of a new DSP called Peaceful Garden which will be coming up in the holiday mini in September. The piece of DSP I chose is a watercolor look of the color Cloud Cover. I stamped on the DSP in Secret Sea ink with the water stamp from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set. This bundle can be found on the SU! store under online exclusives. I the added the Everyday Arches die cut in white to the background. I also cut a white cloud and the two part sailboat along with some birds in Secret Sea card stock. I stamped the sentiment in Sectet Sea ink on a white Stylish Shapes banner die. I finished with some Cloud Cover dots.

Daisy Daydream Paper Pumpkin

 

I am playing finally with my March Paper Pumpkin kit called Daisy Daydream and I did some alternatives which means I did not follow the directions for the kit! I added some DSP like Beautiful Bokeh DSP and Floral & Gingham vellum specialty DSP. Plus there are some extra dies like from the Stylish Shapes die set and Everyday Arches dies. I also added some gems and dots for bling!
