PP744 Sailing On The 4TH

I am playing along with Jaydee's tic-tac-toe challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com today and I am going diagonal with CAS, die cut and masculine! I was going to make a 4th of July card to send my son and this worked out perfectly! It will be in the mail today! I have a white layer and another white ran through with the Sunrise sailing embossing folder. I stamped the birds in Blueberry Bushel from the Sunrise Sailing set on this layer. I then stamped from the same set the sailboat in Blueberry ink and Real Red ink and cut it out with matching dies. I cut the 4 from the Birthday Celebration dies in Blueberry Bushel card stock and I stamped the th from the same Birthday Celebration set in same color and hand snipped it out. I kept it simple and clean for the CAS part but wanted to add color to the water.

Have a Safe & Happy 4th celebration later this week and thanks for stopping by!

  3. I love that you kept the colors on that wonderfully embossed background white. It allows all the other elements to pop. Such a great 4th July card and I am sure your son loved it! So glad you shared it with us at the Paper Players this week
