I am playing along with Jaydee's tic-tac-toe challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com today and I am going diagonal with CAS, die cut and masculine! I was going to make a 4th of July card to send my son and this worked out perfectly! It will be in the mail today! I have a white layer and another white ran through with the Sunrise sailing embossing folder. I stamped the birds in Blueberry Bushel from the Sunrise Sailing set on this layer. I then stamped from the same set the sailboat in Blueberry ink and Real Red ink and cut it out with matching dies. I cut the 4 from the Birthday Celebration dies in Blueberry Bushel card stock and I stamped the th from the same Birthday Celebration set in same color and hand snipped it out. I kept it simple and clean for the CAS part but wanted to add color to the water.
Have a Safe & Happy 4th celebration later this week and thanks for stopping by!

I love this! A perfect 4th of July card and wouldn't it be fun to spend the day in the on the water in the sailboat?!
ReplyDeleteLove this Windy - your patriotic colours really pop against the white. I am coveting this sailboat bundle! Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!
ReplyDeleteI love that you kept the colors on that wonderfully embossed background white. It allows all the other elements to pop. Such a great 4th July card and I am sure your son loved it! So glad you shared it with us at the Paper Players this week
