Sweet Of You With Sweet Strawberry

I loved playing with my new set called Sweet Strawberry and being able to pair it with the free DSP called Berry Delightful DSP. I earn the paper free with the SAB or sale-a-bration promo going on now thru end of Feb 2021. I layered the DSP on a piece of Granny Apple Green card stock and then a Poppy Parade base. I cut another strip of Granny Apple Green cards tock to go across the DSP on a piece of white. I stamped the sentiment in poppy Parade in to the white strip then got to work on my strawberries. I stamped the berries in Poppy on white card stock and then two stepped to color in with Flirty Flaming ink. I then did the same for the leaves with Granny Apple Green ink and stamped off to make it lighter when two stepping the inside. I used the Strawberry Builder punch to punch the berries and stems/leaves. After popping them up, I added some retired Granny Apple Green glimmer dots to finish it off.

A Touch Of Thinking Of You

 

I finally inked up the new set called A Touch Of Ink

I earn free from the SAB promo going on now.

You can earn this set when you spend 100.00 or more and 

you can earn the designer paper I used called 

Oh So Ombre DSP pack when you spend 50.00 or more.

I stamped the butterfly in Memento Tuxedo Black 

on a stitched white circle and colored it with 

two Stampin Blends purples- Purple Posy and Highland Heather.

I then stamped the sentiment from the same set in VersaMark ink

on a stitched Blackberry Bliss circle and heat embossed in white.

I ran some white twine around plus bow before layering on the 

Oh So Ombre DSP to a piece of white card stock and a Blackberry 

Bliss base.

I love the way this card turned out and perfect with 

this color combo from global-design-project.com this week.

I used Night Of Navy for the base and layered a piece of Soft Sea Foam

then a piece of white card stock embossed with the Ornate Floral 

embossing folder. I love this texture!

I stamped the flowers from Forever & Always in Memento 

Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with my 

Stampin Blends in Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink.

I also stamped the leaves the same and colored with Sea Foam.

I cut them with the Always dies along with the Love in Night of Navy.

I stamped the You in Navy on white and cut it with the 

skinny banner die from the same die set and 

it might be my fav die right now.

PP522 Happy Birthday With Shells

 

This is my first card using the new Friends Are Like Seashells bundle.

It is my fav suite in the new mini catalog so perfect for the challenge 

over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com this week.

I did a little casing from the mini catalog which started yesterday. 

I liked the colors and softness of the project on page 78.

I stamped the shells on white card stock in Crumb Cake, Misty Moonlight,

 Rococo Rose, and Mint Macaron inks.

 I used the matching Seaside Shells dies.

For the background, I used my blending brush to blend 

Soft Sea Foam ink on the white card stock and then I stamped

 the sand looking stamp in the same color around where 

I was going to place my shells.

I also stamped on the sentiment in Crumb Cake ink.

I layered it on the Soft Sea Foam base to finish.

I decided I had to use this lovely print from the 

Floral Gallery DSP pack since I had already cut into the

sheet for the Pool Party print on the backside.

I layered it on a piece of So Saffron and then a Night of Navy base.

I then stamped on a white circle the floral image twice

(once up and once upside down) in Terracotta tile ink.

I then stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy and cut it 

out with the die from Always dies. 

I think the die might be a new fav!

I layered the circle on a So Saffron shape 

punched from the Label Me Lovely punch.

I finished it off with a Night of Navy twine bow.

Love how it turned out and when the 

designer paper steals the show!

I just received my Forever & Always bundle and this 

is my first play with it.

I grabbed the lovely True Love DSP for the background

and layered it with a piece of Petal Pink card stock

and a white base.

I wrapped the retired Petal Pink ribbon around before attaching.

I stamped the flowers and leaves in Memento Tuxedo Black ink

on thick white card stock and colored them with the 

Stampin Blends markers in Petal Pink and Mango Melody

on the flowers and Mint Macaron on the leaves.

I cut them out with the matching Always dies.

I cut the white banner from the same dies but stamped it 

with a sentiment from the Art Gallery set in black ink.

Added a few pink pearls from a kit to finish it off.

Happy New Year and Hello 2021 Mini Calendar!

 

Hi 2021!

I hope you have had a lovely New Year's Eve!

I bought some mini tear off calendars a few weeks back and 

decided to make a new stand up for my kitchen bar.

It is the one I look at the most and so I decided it had to be 

in my favorite color- PURPLE!

I started with a piece of Blackberry Bliss cut 4 1/4" by 11"

and folded in half. Same size as a A2 card base.

I then cut a piece of the same card stock 3" x 4 1/4" 

and scored it at 1/2" , 1 1/2" and 2 1/2". 

I added this to bottom to make it stand up and not fall over.

For the front, I added a piece of Gorgeous Grape card stock cut 

4 " x 5 1/4" and then cut a piece of the new 

Hydrangea Hill DSP for the top half. 

I then glued the mini calendar to bottom half with tear tape.

I ran the striped ribbon around before I had attached the 

Grape piece to the base.

I finished it off with a bow.

I purchased the mini tear off calendars from 

Taylorexpressions.com 

They were 10 for 3.50.
