I am playing along with LeAnne's color challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com As soon as I saw these bright colors, I knew I need to pull out again my Ocean friends bundle and use some of the In Color DSP in Summer Splash. I have a white base and the DSP layer on for the background. I cut a white Spotlight On Nature circle to add my critters. I cut a Summer Splash seaweed and some starfish in Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight card stock with the Ocean Friends dies. I stamped the lobster and crab on white card stock in Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight inks with the Ocean Friends stamp set. I stamped the sentiment on a white strip in Flirty Flamingo ink. I finished with some Sunny Day dots in Summer Splash.
Hope you can play along!
Have a exciting day and thanks for stopping by!

Wow, what a fun and pretty card, Windy! I love the way you used the challenge colors for your ocean critters and the background reminds me of water bubbles. All perfect together! Thanks for joining in at the Paper Players this week!
ReplyDeleteWIndy, this is just magic! I've never wanted the Ocean Friends bundle but now I see this card, I begin to question that! It's a perfect choice of DSP, looking like bubbles in the ocean, then that super cluster of sea life over the pie crust circle. Superb! Thanks for sharing this with us at The Paper Players. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun little collection of ocean-themed elements! I love the background paper---reminds me of water bubbles! Thanks for playing with my colors this week at the Players!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable underwater scene you have created, Windy! Everything is perfect...the choice of paper, the embellishments, the die cuts and the use of the challenge colors. I am so glad you played with us at The Paper Papers! Have a wonderful weekend!
