PP726 For You Beautiful Butterfly

I finally cut into my Floral & Gingham vellum paper for Stef's sketch challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com I have a Pool Party base and layered a piece of the vellum in Pool Party gingham over before adding my white card stock panel. I stamped the butterfly and sentiment from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set on another piece of white card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and snipped out the butterfly and cut the sentiment with the Stylish Shapes banner die. I then took my blending brushes and added Calypso Coral, Lemon Lolly and Pool Party inks to the butterfly. I made sure I overlapped for a few different colors to the palette. I wrapped some Lemon Lolly twine and a bow then added some Opaque Faceted gems in Pool Party to finish off.
Hope you have a fab day and can play along over thepaperplayers.blogspot.com
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. That's a really nice way to use the gingham vellum. The little lemon twine is just perfect. As to the butterfly - wish I'd thought of that! Thanks for sharing with us at The Paper Players.
